Signing For A Package

Has anyone had luck just leaving a signed note on the door for the mailman? A package is supposed to arrive today from USPS and it will need a signature, but I have PT about the time the mail comes. I was thinking of just leaving a note on the door saying it is okay to leave the package in the mailbox and signing it?

I've heard of people trying it but never have done it myself, I've also thought about this .....curious to hear from others experiences.

A note itself won't work it would have to be on the usps missed order slip. Just go pick it up from the post office after, or if possible have someone sign for you

That sucks. Our mail doesn't get here until after the post office windows are closed, it's not a huge deal I can get it in the morning. I'm just impatient.. Lol

Just go pick it up. I have received some very sketchy packages... I go pick them up.

I just usually leave a note and tell them to leave the Package with my Neighbor or UPS or Fed-Ex.

For USPS I have had my Mailman leave the Pack and I sign for it the following day.
But I know my Mailman very well, we're on a 1st name basis......................................... JP
P.S.
And my Neighbor has also signed for my packages.

Asking for it to be left with a trustworthy neighbor is your best bet. Otherwise you'll be heading to the PO to pick it up

My mail carrier delivers quite frequent to my door sometimes but not all the time she will leave package on porch even when it needs signature but I think it depends on how late she is running cause she doesn't want to mess with extra work I know a few times she has scribbled a name saying it was signed for

Well it didn't work. The mail man also came an hour and a half earlier than usual otherwise I would have been here for it, just my luck. Lol

I am beginning to think he doesn't even come to the door for a signature. One time I was home and no one ever came to the door and I went out to the mailbox and the slip was in there saying they tried to deliver something. He is new and really fat so I wouldn't doubt it. The slips used to be taped to the door too, and now they are always just in the mailbox. Lol I'm pretty sure he hates me.

pick it up at the post office...I do it all the time , I once was afraid of quad shots and postal carriers...now I could give a fuck.

I will.. I've done it twice to get my PCT products. I just wanted to start my cycle tonight.. It's my first time to pin so I'm getting really anxious and impatient. Lol

not a good idea to leave a package like this with a neighbor at all!!

and if the sender requires signature, and the mailman leaves it without a sig then you can claim it was lost or stolen .. some sources want you to sign for it to make sure you don't reverse scam or its stolen
