When will Phil Heath be stopped?

Seriously this is getting annoying seeing Phil take the damn trophy every year. Big Ramy ,imo, is a way better bodybuilder than Phil, but politics politics politics. Who else thinks Big Ramys just gonna be another Nasser ElSonbatty? Shoulda won an olympia but because of politics he lost in 96 and 97 i believe. Kai is just completely out of the ordinary. Wolf, rhoden meh. Cedric looks like he is loosing his aesthetics from what recent pics show...Seems like theres absolutely no competition anymore. I havent heard of any new upcoming guys who look like they have a lot of potential but you never know. How many more Olympias is this guy gonna win??? From the way it looks, Phil will be Mr.Olympia for the next 4-6 years unless we get some real judges.
 
Why is phil.not a good choice for Mr Olympia? Not objecting but it's more to it than "I don't like that guy" Rammy is bigger but he lacks muscle maturity. Phil is the total package. Nobody on that stage can compete with him right now.
-he's an incredible bodybuilder with a genetic blessing
-well educated. Stand for the college way
-markets himself incredibly well. verry business oriented.
-nothing in his past weighs him down.

Kai very well may be an upset and win it's just unlikly. There are several up and comers would will shift the ranks very soon... just take a look at the current pro card holders. I think phil is gonna show up with his A game this olympia.

Mr olympia represents the sport on the highest level. Think about that. Phil is doing exactly what they want him to do. Weather or not he's the best bodybuilder is questionable. But weather or not he is currently the best poster child for bodybuilding? That's an undeniable yes.

Man lots of people talk about Phil being "genetically gifted." Besides his shoulders and triceps what part of him seems to be gifted? He has built himself very narrowly, look at his chest to shoulder ratio, his gut, arms are overpowered by his forearms, he makes fun of arnolds legs when his legs arent even close to being the best on stage. I have absolutely no idea where people get the idea this guy is blessed. And a good marketer? How? Ive never heard his name mentioned in any gym or any place.

but I don't think Ive really met anyone in the gym that's knows what the Olympia is lol
 
Not anytime soon. Phil has it all. If you ever went to the olympia and saw him person with your own two eyes, you will see why he wins

Lol are you kidding me?
As you get further into this your gona learn a lot about what true symmetry is. And a lot about the benifits of good muscle insertions.
Granted most people see the competitors on stage and gravitate to the biggest guy or the one they think has the most muscle. Quality of muscle goes a long long way. Nobody said his legs were the best on stage. Maybe this is what you don't get.... he is the most proportional. And his gut? You call out the guy of phil heath yet you support Kai greene.he kooks like he ate a fucking sea turtle.

You say he doesn't market himself well? Seriously? Name one other athlete on that stage that does a better job. You havnt heard of gifted nutrition or gifted clothing? It's at every fitspo, every europa, it's carried at many big name gyms. He dropped some of the biggest sponser in the game to develop his own. That's called being inovative....

Compare his social media presence to any other competitor.

Compare how he lives his life to anyone else on the stage. He is the role model they want for the sport right now. His flashy life sells the tickets and brings attracts people to the sport like metal to a magnet.

Dude for real.... I met him. At the heath classic and was like wow... holy shit. Then at the Europa. But it wasn't till he trained at my gym where I got to witness him in action that I was like WTF..... it was like being at the zoo observing a whole different animal. He's a fucking beast man. And the charisma he has is way different than my experience meeting kai. I never got to witness kai train first hand though.

And gentic gift? Dude I could quit my job win the lottery and run all the steroids in the world. I don't think I could even scratch the surface of what phil heath has developed. I could get that size sure but you have to realize genetics is what determines the outcome in bodybuilding. The muscle bellies, the insertions, the tie in's between muscle groups... these are not dictated by steroids....

I would say that there are many factors involved, and unfortunatelly, not all of them are that obvious for us. But there gotta be some small things that separate Phil from the rest on stage. Anyhow - let the best one win!

It is not easy to de-throne the current champ. Phil Heath has an almost 3D look to him when you see him in person. It's something you can't really articulate with words.

If I was judging, I would personally have Cedric or Denis Wolf winning. I am a fan of the taller, more aesthetic physiques.

I see Phil remaining the champ for another couple of years though.

Thats if he doesn't retire, I think this is his last year. I saw him say that on an interview. But he might turn around like Jay Z and continue to strengthen his brand. Might be the next Arnold, becuase he does have a lot of promotion

i agree, i think cedric has one of the best physiques out there, although it seems to go unnoticed for some reason. hes still up and coming though so i expect to see good things from him.
 
Im not trying to take anything away from phil. He has deserved 2-3 of his olympias definitely. But i dont remember if it was 2011 or 2012 but Kai was blatanly the clear winner one of those years before he got all messy. Im not even a Kai fan. Im just startin this thread because it is obvious Big Ramy is Olympia materal. The guys waist goes inward and hes sittin at 300lbs. The amount of mass on his frame is nuts. But i think Phil is clearly over hyped and the fact that people are reffering to him as the "best" and the "Gift" is crazy. And him being judgemental of Arnold is even funnier. Arnold would have been easily 20-30lbs bigger if he had access to tren, hgh, and all these other things the pros use today.
 
No one has muscle bellies like phil right now.. I don't see anyone de-throning him anytime soon.
 
I agree with @hurricane. But, I am a Kai fan. I believe his attitude and character are a better fit for #1 spot. I think he has good potential to shut Phil down in the near future. We'll see.

We should make this a contest... Who's placing in what order.

I think Kai might win this year but he'll loose the next olympia.
Or maybe Shawn Rhoden but I doubt it.

Sometimes I wonder why people qualify when others clearly look better the judges suck I thk and just look for the biggest guy not cemetery or proportion

Yall see the new supp line Kai dropped. Looks Siiiiiiiiick. all steps in the right direction finally. Looks like Kai finally woke the fuck up. This is the stuff he needs to pull that Mr o title and truly.compete with heath.

His supp line looks awesome though. Dynamik muscle... check it out.

Heaths shoulders and arms overpower his chest big time. His shoulders look narrow but with huge delts. I've never seen him in real life though.
