Vasectomy recovery.

Guys,
First I would like to say hello. I'm new to Evo and so far it has been a great source for information and ideas. Ok now to the back ground / question. I,m currently in a Sustanon/Tren cycle and will be finishing up in three weeks. once complete I will do the perfect PCT followed by a brigde supported by SARMs. Plan on doing a test,EQ and oral kick starter for my next cycle. I don't go on the stage so the start time for the next cycle is flexable. What is not flexable is having another little one. Already have three and don't want anymore. So I'm considering getting a Vasectomy. But have no idea what the recovery time is or how this could effect my cycling. Any insight through experience or knowledge would be great.
Thanks

Sorry I have No Experience in this Matter.

Just wanted to say "OUCH" that Hurts just thinking about it.

Hope your Recovery is Quick................................. JP
P.S.
Are you getting the Scalpel or Non-Scalpel Procedure.
The Non-Scalpel Heals faster.

Not sure but will ask the doctor about the non-scalpel procedure during the counseling. Another consideration is that I'm in the military and can get the procedure for free... lucky me I quess. Still, I retire in 23 months so I need to act to take advantage of benifit

Don't know what State you will Retire to.
But something New with the VA.

Veterans Choice Program ~ if the Doctors Appt. or Needed Procedure can't be Scheduled at the VA within 30 Days.
You can be sent somewhere that does it.
I've Personally used it to go across the Street to the U of P in Philly for Procedure's.

I just don't know if you can wait 23 Months................................ JP
P.S.
Also any 100% Disabled Vet can use it at His or Her Discretion.

A vasectomy is actually a pretty minor surgery. It is not very invasive at all. I would guess recovery time would be a week or less.

As much as it sucks, ask NOT to be put under for the operation. Anesthesia is very hard on the body and will greatly increase recovery time. If you just get freezing, I imagine your recovery time will be a week or less.

You want to give yourself at least a week. I read a good article about this recently, but I don't think we can post outside links here. Can we, moderators?

You can certainly Post Outside Links.
But not all will Post without Editing............................. JP
P.S.
We had some Issues, so now there's some Auto-Edits.

It's ab out patient. No need to be put under for the procedure. Had mine done on a Friday and went to the Ren Fest on Saturday. Was sore and very bruised. All and all I think the procedure took less than 30 minutes. Gook luck.

Guys,
Thank you for the information especialy the article from Kickshaw39. I now feel more comfortable. Will contact the appointment line Monday morning and schedule my consultation. Not sure what the waiting period is but will feel you all in on the recovery time.
Thank you again

Actually, back in the days I have undergone a similar surgery, not with the same purpose, but in the same area and same scale. The recovery was pretty fast - a week, or two at most. However, I am not entirely sure of how it will affect your cycling....but there should not be much of a problem.

Hey not to be cliche.

THAT TAKES BALLS to go through with that, literally about 2 lol. I don't mean to desensitise the situation. I also will be having a sort surgery on my sack, here in the near future. UNderstand my laughter is not in mockery but, in avoidance of the reality of the day I find myself butt ass naked, scared and alone. No one can take ur place which would be the only true way to offer comfort.

Had one no big deal at all. In and out in about 20 minutes. Little swelling the next day that's it. I was completely fine in three days. Grab some frozen vegetables and ice you're nuts periodically and to be honest I didn't even do that.

Guys,
Thank you for the support and information. I did not call the appointment line yesterday as planned, was very busy at work...fun how that happens when you DON'T want to do something else. Anyway, called today and have my consultation on 15 DEC, my birthday.

I had it done 3 years ago. Next to actually having kids, it's one of the best things I have ever done! Literally takes 5 minutes. I had the gentle version so no needle or scalpel. No scar, they made a pin-head size puncture at the base where the frank meats the beans. It's actually laughable afterwards because you are so nervous for nothing. I was sore for a couple weeks just like a bruise. Nuts were a bit black and blue but not bad. I would say I was fully recovered in a month. I tell anyone considering it to man up and just do it. The never having to worry about an "oops" is great!
