deciding to use steroids

Hello, i turn 20 in a month. I have been training since i was 16. i have built a good foundation for myself. i have been thinking whether to take it to the next level and jump on gear or not.

Opinions?

Wait until you're 25, you're not done Growing and your Natural Test is still High........................................ JP
P.S.
Plus, if you do Steroids now, you could wind up on TRT for the rest of your Life ~ No Joke.
 
You DO NOT need steroids at 20. They are going to cause permanent and long term side effects. PLEASE listen to me. You will thank me later. At 20, your body is already primed to grow. All you need to do is focus on your diet and training.

At 20, get a high quality protein powder, such as isolation from n2bm.com, learn how to eat 6 meals per day and learn how to train HARD 5 days per week. That will get you the body you want.

Wait until you are AT LEAST 23.
 
I took Steroids when I was 20. Started training at 16 just like you. Did a few of cycles, took four years off, did a few more cycles, took 6 years off bringing me to present day. I'm 31 now and just started a new cycle. I'm not on TRT, yet.....

Not everyone dodges a bullet like you did. Starting too early will fuse growth plates, shut down natural testosterone production and a host of other problems.Wait until you are 23-25.And while your bodys natural test production is at an all time high use it to build a solid foundation.

have you run blood work? I will wager your T levels at 31 are lower then your peers because of your steroid abuse in your early 20's.

when you run hormones you cause your pituitary glands to go dormant at the worst time when your body is going through, and finishing up hormonal changes. it is like yelling at someone during their back swing in golf.. it will throw off the trajectory of your reproductive health.

steroids are NOT dangerous in that they directly kill you BUT they are risky because they 100% do effect your reproductive system, sometimes permanently

There you are, wilsonn, a real-life example of the harm one can do to oneself when one begins to use AAS too early in life. I'm 57. Therefore, if I want to keep growing muscle (and I do), I have no other choice than to use AAS. You, on the other hand, do have such a choice, which means that you do not need AAS for at least another six years. I know that 20, six years seems like eternity, but it is not. In fact, should you choose to wait out those six years, they will pass by very quickly, and you will be better off for having done it. So too will you realize better results.

Please heed the advice that you sought and were given.

Your test levels at 20 will be higher than some guys when they are on cycle at an older age. Take advantage of that and wait a few years to cycle. You will end up on trt for life possibly if you start steroids at a young age. You should listen to the podcast where Muskate talks about his usage at a young age.

Also depends what you call a good foundation. Weight/height/lifts/photos? In any case, I would stand with the majority with saying to wait a little longer
 
You should definitely wait some time - it is not a matter of being in bad or good shape. It is a matter of your body still going through major changes, and you may get long term problems by using gear at such a young age. Right now there is a roller coaster of hormones in your body, and you don't need to mess things even more.

Max bench:260
Max Squat:275
Max Deadlift:300

Think im just going to use sarms in the meantime and see where they will take me

Honestly, from your Current Stats.
SARMS is you best bet for now.

I would say @ 248 Lbs and 5'10".
If you don't have a 50" Chest and 32" Thighs.
You got some BF to lose.
Which at your Age is No Big Deal.

Keep training Hard and Tracking your Diet, and it'll all come together.
Remember you're Young.
And this isn't a Sprint, it's a Marathon, and you'll hear that over and over.
Cause it's True........................................................... JP
 
I agree with everyone that disagreed with you taking steroids so young. All of their points are valid, and not to be taken lightly.

Have your Lifts improved since previously when you were heavier ?

And your BF% should be much improved.
Have you checked it with Calipers................................. JP

Yes, all my compound lifts went up by 30-40lbs

didnt measure my bf when i was 248, but i had to be 25% plus. Now i'm around 18%

So you're making Consistent Progress.
I know you want to do a Cycle Now.

Believe me, it's worth waiting at least until you're almost 23.

I didn't do my 1st Cycle until I was 25.
And that's Damn Near 40 years ago.
And I'm in the Progress of planning a New Cycle.

My Natty Test has stayed high all these years, cause I listened to someone when I was your Age........................................... JP

It feels like im going to have to wait forever, but it would be better to just wait it out. For now im just going to use sarms to see how far i can go with sarms
 
If you haven't trained for 5-10 years from the point of where you know what you're doing in terms of your training/diet, then I wouldn't hop on the gas

It's not forever, it may seem like it now, but when you look back a couple years from now, you realize it was worth it.................. JP

I forgot to put this in my other reply.
When I was your Age, I was already lifting Competitively in the AAU for 3 years as a Powerlifter.
So I had some Real Motivation to get a Cycle under my Belt.
But my Coach told me to wait until 25, and I listened to him, and I'm really glad I did.
 
If you haven't trained for 5-10 years from the point of where you know what you're doing in terms of your training/diet, then I wouldn't hop on the gas

I've been training for 4 years and have a good understanding of how my body reacts to certain diets/ training regimes
 
start to build yourself at 16, that did help you build a good foundation, but take a cycle at 20 is too young for you, the test level of yourself is enough for you, you just need to do what you do everyday.

too young to use any aas. What's your purpose to use aas?

I find it fascinating that you can take these compounds and take your body to the next level. Yeah, They're dangerous if not used properly. Call me dumb, but the way see it is you only live once enjoy it while it is here.
