Losing Fat After Cycle

Hey guys,

How do you guys go about losing any extra weight you might have put on during a test cycle without losing too much muscle?

How much protein do you guys take in and what's your routine like as far as cardio.

I'm just nervous I might lose more than I want.

Thanks

Taking an aggressive approach to fat loss immediately after a cycle during your PCT is not a good idea because your hormones will be low and you will be more inclined to loose muscle mass. During your PCT your focus is recovery. After your PCT, that is when you want to focus on fat loss. Possibly with a SARMS bridge.

Carb cycling is your best option for loosing fat while holding onto all your muscle mass. Carb cycling gives you the best of everything. The high carb days are very anabolic and replenish depleted glycogen stores. The low carb days are fat loss focused.

Here is an article I wrote on how to set up a carb cycling diet for fat loss. It contains a full sample meal plan and recommended protein, fat and carb intake per day:

Let me know if you have any questions on the article bud.

Regarding the diet, I will usually just reduce the calories, but will maintain the same macros ratios. Carb cycling is an awesome approach - it is a very effective diet that is also pretty easy to follow. Also, if you want to lose some fat during PCT, you can use Cardarine GW, as it will burn fat, while maintaining your lean mass even in the most catabolic of the situations. Besides, it has no side effects, so it is definitely a good addition for a PCT, and an awesome compound for bridging.

this is a good question. the solution is always go into a bulking cycle with room to grow.

everyone is so scared to bulk because we have been accustomed to the bullshit on social media where everyone is trying to be 'shredded and weak'

if you want to build strength and large muscle mass you should go for it and not be scared to put on a little body fat. if you are gaining a lot of mass some of it is going to be fat, that's just how it works. just make sure you are lean enough going into the bulk where if you put on a little body fat you are still looking good.

This is true...especially for a girl. It all goes back to fear of the scale. Most men get nervous when that bad boy goes down...females get nervous when it goes up.

I'm "bulking" right now....the scale has jumped about 3/4 lbs in 4 weeks. But I don't look fatter, lol.

I would really mess too much with your diet or training right now. Possibly add in 3 30 minute cardio sessions per week and see what happens. If it's not enough, add more. If too much....decrease it.

Everybody is different. I know if I do too much cardio...I look flat. So I have to watch how much I do.

Keep caloric intake similar, recover properly, and see where you want to go next
