Over 50 taking Test

Group, I'm 5"9 185lbs and a little over 13%bf(I thought it was lower) and over 50yo. My goal is simply to gain some muscle mass but not a lot of weight. More of a re-comp I guess. I'm told taking a low dose of test would make a huge difference for two reasons. My age and it's my first cycle ever. The question is how much and all the other things I need to take so I'm not screwed up!
 
This being your first go with aas,Test would be all you need. I would go with test enanthate, or cyp.,at250mg twice a week, so thats 500 mg a week. You would have to take aromasin at 10 mg eod,to keep your estrogen low,and maybe a liver supplement, like n2guard would do just fine!
 
before you do anything i suggest you run blood work to see how your HPTA is doing.. you can literally order online and pay 60 bucks, go in today and get results tomorow emailed to you and get A LOT of questions answered http://goo.gl/kDk0zS <save 10% on bloodwork

if your test levels are already low you may want to consider getting a TRT script, rather then bothering to cycle low doses of test

Steve, I had blood work done and I Test # was 829. What do you recommend with pretty good test numbers for my age?

in that case cycle steroids but make sure you are running a good PCT and doing time off correctly so we keep the HPTA healthy

Those are FANTASTIC testosterone numbers for your age. Most guys in their 20s don't have numbers that good.

I would run test at 500mg/week for 10-12 weeks with aromasin at 10mg EOD as your AI. Simple and effective. After the cycle, run the perfect PCT protocol.

For the goals of recomping, think about adding cardarine/SR9009 into your cycle.

The single best supplement you can take for fat loss is a PPAR up regulator like cardarine or SR9009 -> https://www.evolutionary.org/cardarine/

The nicest thing about cardarine and sr9009 is that they are not stimulants or hormones so they won't effect sleep, raise cortisol levels or anything like that. It'll cause a huge boost in fat loss with no side effects.

I've already been taking GW and you're right, it's amazing. Thanks for the advice.
