Drinking bcaa daily?

If its feasible would it be beneficial to add flavorless bcaa's to your water bottle for the day ? Doesnt hurt right?

What is it that you are looking to achieve with this?

Studies have shown that this actually can hurt your gains. Thinking that by consuming amino acids throughout the day will maximize your protein synthesis is a fool's error. In facts, it's quite the opposite. By constantly drinking amino acid's you're body isn't having the same muscle protein synthesis response as if you were let's say eating every 3 hours.

1. you are wasting your money
2. those bcaa's contain fillers which aren't healthy
3. they illicit insulin spikes you don't want
4. they cause your body to work harder to digest them, which takes away from other things

the bcaa scam has a lot of traction because supp companies make a big profit on them

With Fella Finn's interesting comments aside for the moment, I will say that, it may not be harmful, but it won't help much either. For BCCA is at best terribly overrated and at worst hideously overpriced pixy dust.
Yeah, another type pixy dust sold as a "must-have bodybuilding building supplement." Imagine that.

Unless you are on an extremely low protein diet for some reason you will be getting plenty of BCAA through your regular diet. No need to supplement with them

They can be useful in the right application. For instance, I train fasted, and drink those intra workout for protein synthesis. There is a lot of data supporting it for that purpose. If you are in a fed state, it won't do much for you.

Exactly. It’s garbage. Like the pre-workout shake. Big scam because there are big dollars for them.
