So it would mean the waste of 1200mg of dbol over one year, and stress on the liver equivalent to, say, two or three beers per week.

Yes, Heikki Mikkola (aka “the Flying Finn”) is, as you now know, a four-time Motocross World Champion.
No, I don’t know him. I shook his hand and congratulated him in 1978 after he won that years World Carlsbad Grand Prix of Motocross in Carlsbad, California, a day on which I raced “250 support”; placing 5th overall. But, no, I don’t him. I did, however, film him a lot, and I spent so much time studying those films that I felt as though I knew him. He is, in my opinion, amongst the top three best motocross racers ever. He is to Finnish motocross what, say, Cal Ripken is to American baseball; a true Iron Man.
