I tweaked something in my mid back doing that power squat with 1180lbs on it lol. I think it is a slight strain or something. There is no bruising but it definitely feels like I have a knife under my left rhomboid.

That’s a nasty mid back strain from overload, classic under the scapula tension. Use BPC-157 at 250-500 mcg 2x/ed near the area and keep heat on it ed. I would also add tb500 1mg 2x/week. @TAGII

Skip heavy axial loads for a week, do light rows and band pull aparts to keep blood moving, then ease back in with 25% load and higher reps once pain drops.
DO NOT go heavy again until you feel better please.

Yea getting into position for heavy DB work can be pretty scary af times. It's always that first move when you lay back with the DBs and you hope you don't tear something or drop them on your face haha

@Allupfromhere I like the squeeze you get from it. It takes your arms out of the equation but it is a pain to get into lol. I have to slide one arm in and lift it up while I rotate the other arm in
