Every day pinning?

Hey guys,
I’m new to the community but I have been cycling now for about 4 years on and off (trt off, not off off). I have been recently doing some research about getting the most out of your gear and have seen a lot of recommendations for daily injections to keep levels more stable (possibly higher?).
The last cycle I just finished about 8 weeks ago, I was running:
600mg Test E
600mg EQ
400mg Deca
These injections were divided up and done EOD.

My thought is, if I pin every day can I get the same results using less gear?

Two weeks ago I started pinning every day with 40mg a day of test e and 15mg a day of deca. (This is my cruise dose. I leave the deca in all year around 100mg a week to help with joint issues. When I was 11-16 years old I had juvenile rheumatoid arthritis)

I am planning on starting a cycle with test/mast/primo and leave a base of 100mgs of deca.
Will I have to run the total mg up to 1600mg a week to see results if I am pinning 7 times a week versus 3.5 times as before?


Also a little about me:
I am 35
I go to the gym 5 days a week
I workout with a natural bodybuilder who does a lot of volume but when he isn’t there I revert back to a heavy compound movement and accessories.
My diet is relatively clean but to maintain my weight I have to eat 5-6000 calories a day.
I do not have a colon so food does stay in me very log so I try to eat frequently. (I struggle to gain weight)
I am 5’9” and weigh 190lbs
Goal is 220lbs lean

@TAGII first you look amazing :D and welcome to the EVO family. Your 2019 to 2025 is like a magazine cover. Love it.

On your question, I like ED or EOD pins for the most part to keep blood levels steady. So yes I would pin ED if you can handle it.

Though I would like to have you start a log asap for the EVO family to fully support you in your journey.
I saw you post in other logs, so you've seen them. :D
Starting a log is easy, 15min of your time and the base of your post is this thread you can copy the history.
Start a NEW thread with your cruise cycle, test deca, share training diet history and supps and we'll guide you on your journey as an EVO family.

@TAGII this def can be a contender for a log
my position on this is simple. i BELIEVE in esters. esters were attached to these hormones for a reason. so they could slow release and you could pin less often. Deca for example has a whopping 15-17 day half life. that means that when you inject it after 15-17 days half will still be in your system and so on. so if you inject it weekly you would not even reach peak concentrations for 6-9 weeks later.

you didn't try and build rome overnight with a crazy stack

i've dealt with a lot of personal things mostly
problems with ex wife and daughter
 
I do ED pinning wether blasting or cruising. Just feel better for doing it. It would work with less frequent injections, but didn't feel as good
Since I have started doing ED pins. It is a whole lot less stressful (yes! I am a baby and don’t like needles… I was stuck a lot as a kid and just not a fond memory lol). ED with a half inch slin pin is super easy, convenient, and painless.

This would be the uptick of subq and daily and the best reasoning.

There are those that don't mind frequent pinning but I've yet to see ANY evidence to say the results are better

Shallow IM works but in small muscles like delts and arms and lats, dont pin your glutes that way. @TAGII

Definitely not! I usually use an inch and a half for glutes but never go shorter than an inch!

Looking for more options/pinning advice.

I’ve heard triceps and biceps are options for shallow IM but that seems like a lot of veins 🤷‍♂️
 
I pin alternating thighs 1.5" needle. Spread dose over 3 pins per week, I think that leads to less side effects. Occasionally I will pin in the side delt with a slightly smaller needle, if the volume of the injection is low. I find it awkward to inject in my glute, especially one handed. I see no reason to deviate from the thigh, it allows good visibility, two hands, relaxed seated position. Avoid sub-q for oil suspended meds...

I’ve been doing delts, lats, traps. I never do quads.

Arms easy start with your biceps. :D dont do tris at first.
 
I’m assuming biceps are done straight armed relaxed? @LevButlerov
Use a 0.5 inch needle and inject into the peak of the bicep where the muscle is thickest.
Make a pumped bicep, at the PEAK of the bicep (a little right of the vein) find the spot, think of it as the peak of the mountain, keep your finger on it and relax the arm. That's the spot you pin. :D

You're a beast :D but for majority avoid quads.

One of my friends pins his quads all the time as well and has never had an issue. I have had a few pins that caused inflammation in my glutes (part of it was lower back pain for popping my back out) but it caused a lot of discomfort with walking and sitting. Because I walk a lot a work I didn’t want to have a bad pin and limp or look crippled lol 😂

Make a pumped bicep, at the PEAK of the bicep (a little right of the vein) find the spot, think of it as the peak of the mountain, keep your finger on it and relax the arm. That's the spot you pin. :D

If your having issues in your glutes. You have same issues in other sites as well
I think most of the issue was an alignment issue. Went to the chiropractor and seems to be all good. Still makes me nervous with the quads though lol. I’ll be tough one day. Just not this day 🤪

Also some doing glute shots move the syringe a lot while pinning

Na man. Still getting them. Got a booking with a neurologist in 8 weeks. Also a dentist as it could also be from jaw grinding. Bloods look great so not really worried too much. Thanks for asking brother 🙏

I have been getting headaches since I had my colon removed and they checked my head and tried migraine medicine and a slew of other meds as well as Botox injections for migraines. Nothing helped. I got in a car accident and the looked at my neck and discovered I had a lot of inflammation and bone spurs in my neck that had been their for years. They said there was nothing that they could do for them.
Moral of the story is ask them to keep checking so you can figure it out. And keep pushing through brother!!!

Wow. Yeah will keep trying to knock causes out one by one. Had a ear,nose,throat specialist look at my sinuses and he says it's fine so next stop neurologist

just listened to your ep on the podcast. Man gotta say what an achievement. With the conditions you've had/are dealing with your killing it. On that note and searching you up iv only ever pinned 29gauge 1/2 inch into delts and quads. Should I not be using 1/2 inch in quads? Never had a problem really? How do you go about arms and lats? Would be interested in doing this

If you are doing quads and it works, then don’t change it. I’m terrified of needles and has been the hardest part of my journey. I now pin traps, Delts, lats and I use half inch insulin pins each time (daily).
I have not tried the bicep yet (I’m a baby).

Everyone is different on their time of pinning. I do mine in the morning before I shower. The heat seems to help the absorption and then I go about my day.
 
Yeah im usually evening with a physical job dont want to be sore during the day. Any advice on where abouts on the trap. Scares me a little bein so close to the neck 🤣
I do mine slightly off center towards the shoulder.
1/2” 29ga or 30ga
