G'day everyone,

Long-time lurker, first-time poster. Thought I'd give this a whirl to keep myself accountable and share this retatrutide ride. I'm a 52-year-old Aussie, been working out a long, long time, but have gotten fat after the ex-missus took the house. In the past, I had the drive and will to get ripped fast with just discipline. Now, I just work out, eat crap, and be merry — but it's affecting my quality of life, so it's time to get it off!

Also, I'm an ex Rugby League player, so my knees are cactus, my back is cactus, my shoulder is cactus, and I ache like nothing else (NO painkillers). So I'll also be giving BPC157 & TB500 a go. (Anyone have any issues mixing the stack I'm about to propose?)

I'm about to hit the road full-time vanlife, so exact progress pics in the same lighting may be a bit difficult.

Age: 52
Height: 6'1
Weight: 112kg
Body fat: I dunno, you can take a guess (I reckon 30%). To be honest, the number doesn't matter to me. I can tell when I look n feel good and how rapidly I'm losing — I've always just gone off pics. But I'd say I feel and look prime at about 15%.

Stack:

Test E – 250mg, maybe up to 500mg a week, split into two doses p/w (I'll see how I feel as I'll be cutting calories aggressively).

Mast E – 50mg to 100mg per week (just for the feel — I like the feel). Hope it lasts; everyone is out of Mast E.

Reta – Start at 0.5mg, maybe 1mg? (Could do with some advice here.)

TB500 – 2mg per week, split into two doses.

BPC157 – 250mcg per day.

Diet:

2000 cals

Just meat and fat! (Yep, I know the athletes are gonna hate me, but this works for me and I love it.) I have the most voracious appetite known to man. I eat carbs, it spikes my ghrelin, and I'm eating all day, and my mood is ratty.

Supps:

Salt, potassium, magnesium (maybe whey, but only if the appetite suppression doesn't let me get protein in).

Exercise:

Lift 4–5 days per week. I'm super simple in the gym: 5x5 sets, 8–12 reps (drop sets if I feel like it). Push, pull, legs. Might get a bit of boxing in if some kid is sitting there texting on the machine.

Walk 20,000 steps per day. Stationary bike (zone 2 for 1 hr) if I don't get the steps.

That should see pretty quick results, especially if Reta lives up to the hype.

Have the order coming from UGLOZ — should be here Tuesday. Dropping carbs now.

and test vs mast here hard to guess, what is the brand of masteron you using? might be best for you to use an ai instead like aromasin with test but we need blood work

cardio, I see you doing 20k steps for how long? how many weeks this has been happening?

@Ballbag I do not believe you're 30% body fat. I believe you are closer to somewhere in the low to mid 20s. Nevertheless let's make sure we cut you down with the retatrutide. I would start at 1.5 milligrams and keep it at that dose for like four weeks and see how you do.

1. Nup haven't had bloods done in ages. I will when I get a moment. I been on TRT for 10 years so I used to get them regularly. I feel pretty dialed in, but will get them done after 2 weeks on gear. I know I should, I've just been slack.

2. My diet recently has been pizza and every other bit of rubbish I can cram in over the holidays. But previously, I've almost always done Keto post 40 years old, but I'll be doing carnivore. So it will be all meat, 200g of protein, and whatever fat I can fit in under 2000 cals. I have never had any digestive issues with carnivore or keto.. Other than the first couple of days. It will be one big meal at night with Mag and salt, potassium throughout the day.

3. I will keep you posted on exercises, but a workout example would be cable flies or pec dec 5 sets by 8-12 reps up to 18 reps if I feel sore and drop weight (I don't lift super heavy anymore), Same sets and reps for chest press, shoulder press, lateral raises, triceps. If I feel like it I do drop sets also. I am limited in what I can do, but I work around it. Pain often dictates my workout, so I'll post it as I go.

4. Zero supplements, I have done them all but.... When Im on said diet and exercise I just feel great. I know, I gotta get em, I just don't, and I'm rarely sick lol

I don't use injections anymore for TRT I use Anroforte on the nuts. Has a higher DHT conversion, less estrogenic effects etc and higher T levels.. The Doctor would never prescribe me enough of the injectable to make me feel good but the cream can be manipulated with scrotal application. Tip: Just make sure you shower before you go to bed with Jill because you might wake with Jack ;)

You are clearly holding some muscle under there, even if the body fat is up near the 30% mark, once it comes off youll look great as you already have size

Nice start to your log, something to keep in mind with Reta - while it will work absolute wonders for your health metrics and weight loss, some people really struggle with eating high fats on it.
You would really want to add digestive aids and some physillium husk.

Good start though, and I look forward to seeing where you take it

the first 1-2 months is the worst sides, then your body gets used to it. so start low and give it a chance to get used to it. i usually tell my clients 1.5mg the first 4 weeks. then 2mgs next 4 weeks. then you can start increasing but don't go higher then 4-5mgs. then after 6 months you can drop it back down to 1-2mgs and then consider just a maintenance dose thereafter

again this is a basic blueprint, your gonna need to tweak things as you see fit

At least you got your divorce done even though you took a hit. That's how it goes man. Anytime you sign a contract (which is a marriage) you can expect issues when you're getting divorced. Let's put that behind you though and move forward. @Ballbag

Just meat and fat! (Yep, I know the athletes are gonna hate me, but this works for me and I love it.) I have the most voracious appetite known to man. I eat carbs, it spikes my ghrelin, and I'm eating all day, and my mood is ratty.

Supps:

Salt, potassium, magnesium (maybe whey, but only if the appetite suppression doesn't let me get protein in).

Exercise:

Lift 4–5 days per week. I'm super simple in the gym: 5x5 sets, 8–12 reps (drop sets if I feel like it). Push, pull, legs. Might get a bit of boxing in if some kid is sitting there texting on the machine.

Walk 20,000 steps per day. Stationary bike (zone 2 for 1 hr) if I don't get the steps.

That should see pretty quick results, especially if Reta lives up to the hype.

Have the order coming from UGLOZ — should be here Tuesday. Dropping carbs now.

My best advice is do some fasted cardio. That goes a long way. @Ballbag that will help you burn some extra body fat and you can get it out of the way first thing in the morning.

Yeah, because the drug takes a long time to build up in your system you don’t want to go to hard at first

I don't use injections anymore for TRT I use Anroforte on the nuts. Has a higher DHT conversion, less estrogenic effects etc and higher T levels.. The Doctor would never prescribe me enough of the injectable to make me feel good but the cream can be manipulated with scrotal application. Tip: Just make sure you shower before you go to bed with Jill because you might wake with Jack ;)
@Ballbag Bros, if that worked for you, then that worked for you. You can always get a different doctor in the future or you can do self-TRT. Many guys do self-TRT a lot cheaper anyway.

I had to deal with a lot of issues as well with my family over the years. So I know where you're coming from for sure. That's something that is what I try and avoid when I'm in the gym. That is kind of my safe space where I don't let outside noise influence anything. @Ballbag
 
At least you got your divorce done even though you took a hit. That's how it goes man. Anytime you sign a contract (which is a marriage) you can expect issues when you're getting divorced. Let's put that behind you though and move forward. @Ballbag

I'll definitely be doing that. Just sold my warehouse and about to vanlifie full time. When I'm away, I set my van up and ride, walk everywhere anyway, swim, and hope the BPC works well enough to surf again. Surfing burns it off bigly. Thanks for the tips, mate.

Ah, sorry to hear that, mate. It's never good, hey. I wasn't even married, and she had zero when she met me. When I say I lost the house, I still came out with other assets. I have been living in my warehouse (which I just sold), it's just that I had most of it before I even met her. It's wrong, but I'm not looking back. I got my mojo back and am enjoying life, Ive had worse things happen, the lawyers were the ones I was thinking unholy stuff about.

Yep I did. What was prescribed injection wise wasn't enough. The cream actually bought my T levels higher and E2 was lower. It's not the same as the gel and works like 10x better when applied on the nuts due to skin absorption, androgen receptors there, and DHT conversion. I'll look and see if can find old bloods.

Just for those curious. I know creams and gels get a bad wrap, most don't like them, but the application (where you apply) matters. These are 2-year-old bloods (yep i have to get bloods done more regular), but to show using the exact dose prescribed. (I've cropped to keep my details out).

They prescribed me 2ml per day once a day applied to abdomen (does nothing) but I use 2ml per day split in two on the nuts. They're now recommending scotal application.

I actually think prescription TRT is an artform you gotta get creative.. Some of the therapies weren’t just a waste but detrimental.

Will start food and exercise log today. Prob won’t get Reta till tomorrow. Ozugl is usually quick 👍

Bros, if you like the cream then stick with it. Everyone has their own preference.

That's pretty cool stuff. We have a guy on here who logged recently named Van Life and he definitely does the same thing.

Yeah you can definitely have a good life doing it. My only concern is the cleanliness.
I stay in van parks mostly or by the beach Im a shower freak so I stay clean.

Day 1 adapting to no carbs so not restricting calories as Im starving not adapted yet. Reta not here yet. Still only TRT.

Meal 1 (only one meal)

1kg of Rib eye.

Approx Macros:
Calories: ~2,800–3,000 kcal
Protein: ~240–260 g
Fat: ~220–240 g
Carbs: 0 g

Exercise:
- Lat pull downs 3x12 75kg 2x12 65kg
Rows 5x10 65kg
- Lateral raises cable 5x12 6.25kg
- Rear delts cable 6.25kg a side
- Hammer curl with plates 3 x 20-25 20 > 15kg drop sets & 2x 20-25 15-10kg plates

Supps: Salt in water through day, 2 x 1/4 teaspoon Lite Salt (potassium 50% sodium 50%) & Magnesium Malate. Will add more when in ketosis.

Energy: Good!

Long-time lurker, first-time poster. Thought I'd give this a whirl to keep myself accountable and share this retatrutide ride. I'm a 52-year-old Aussie, been working out a long, long time, but have gotten fat after the ex-missus took the house. In the past, I had the drive and will to get ripped fast with just discipline. Now, I just work out, eat crap, and be merry — but it's affecting my quality of life, so it's time to get it off!

Also, I'm an ex Rugby League player, so my knees are cactus, my back is cactus, my shoulder is cactus, and I ache like nothing else (NO painkillers). So I'll also be giving BPC157 & TB500 a go. (Anyone have any issues mixing the stack I'm about to propose?)

I'm about to hit the road full-time vanlife, so exact progress pics in the same lighting may be a bit difficult.

Age: 52
Height: 6'1
Weight: 112kg
Body fat: I dunno, you can take a guess (I reckon 30%). To be honest, the number doesn't matter to me. I can tell when I look n feel good and how rapidly I'm losing — I've always just gone off pics. But I'd say I feel and look prime at about 15%.

Stack:

Test E – 250mg, maybe up to 500mg a week, split into two doses p/w (I'll see how I feel as I'll be cutting calories aggressively).

Update: Haven’t trained for 2 days, had to head off for family stuff last minute.

Reta and others arrived.

Took 1mg of Reta 9am.. Appetite is still here. I imagine it may take a little while to work.

Back to gym tomorrow.
