Test E - Nice easy pin again today. Feeling refreshed and recovering well now

Deca - Found a nice nerve this morning, but the actual Deca was easy and smooth once I was in. Joints are still feeling OK.

EQ - Not today

Dbol - Took my first 20mg morning dose today. 20mg this afternoon.

Overall - my recovery is going really well. Shoulders and knees are responding as well as they can to the rest. Peds are definitely assisting this.

Diet. So here we go......
I am reducing my carb intake. Not quite as low as before but under 200.
I simply do not burn carbs enough so I end up storing them as fat.
I can't do cardio, not wont, can't.

I will outline why this once as it is not something I really discuss.
My knees are shot. I have no cartilage in either knee and no meniscus in my right one. The left knee's meniscus is severely degraded. The head of my right femur is deformed by osteoarthritis. It wont straighten, doesn't bend without a bit of effort and as such I have a reasonable limp. I don't actually notice any more as I have had it for so long now.
15 years ago I was told I needed a double knee replacement due to the damage and this would mean no real lifting with my legs again. So I have avoided going anywhere near this.
I can lift, and heavy, but I can't do anything that involves jarring them like stepping with a weight anmore. It's why I have a monolift 😉, and why RDLs are now not done 🤷‍♂️.
Standing around for ages is also a no-go as it is a bit painful.

So, therein, I don't do cardio any more and don't burn carbs like most of you younger brothers and sisters do.
I can however shift a bit of iron and get pretty big and strong doing this. Protein is my fuel for the most part.
So I did try the normal body-building diet thing and it wont work for me. So please don't feel slighted if I don't take up your dietary suggestions.
Almost go time now....and I have a plan, but thats tomorrow's log.

Good update brother. Good to see you sticking with the deload. Love that you adjusting things according to what works for you. There is no one size fits all and everyone's body and circumstances are different. You know your body the best!

Thanks brother. Taken me a while just to do my own thing based on my body and how it works now. Feel like I have tried everything and now I have a solid bead on what works....and more importantly, what doesn't 🙂🩵

I find I can roll easy for 12 or so weeks but if I am still progressing I think "just a couple more weeks" then inevitably hit a wall. At least I didn't injure myself this time 🫣🤭🩵
12 weeks is really solid though. I can only go that far on cycle. Normally I'm good for 7 or 8 and I can feel my body start slipping. Even with a few years and a heart condition on me you're still kicking my ass lol

You did the right thing by holding off. Medical science and surgery techniques improve so much year on year. Soon enough you'll be able to get them fixed up better and then you can hit some cardio again. Yay!!

**Eased these through nice and slow.

Squats 10x60,70,80kg
**These are a new addition to help with depth. Going to take a bit to get comp depth. A few centimetres off yet.

GHR 4x2
**Watched a proper set up of this and it's glaringly obvious it will take time to get it right. At present I need two band's to assist in trying to lower myself slowly. I will video this next week hopefully.

Daily thoughts
The plan. Simple really, back to powerlifting competitions.
I need to work on all lifts during this cycle and I will run a mock comp at the end to see where I stand lift totals wise.
This is going to be how I will run things from now with cycles and comps lining up. Actual first competition back I am aiming for Late November/ December in some capacity after the next run.
Anyway I am soooooo ready to go now. Body is just buzzing with energy. Deload weights are easy and flying around.
For the first time I feel in total control of my diet, program, plan and Peds all at the same time. Mentally refreshed and outlook is totally positive. Just want to start this cycle now.

**Watched a proper set up of this and it's glaringly obvious it will take time to get it right. At present I need two band's to assist in trying to lower myself slowly. I will video this next week hopefully.

The plan. Simple really, back to powerlifting competitions.
I need to work on all lifts during this cycle and I will run a mock comp at the end to see where I stand lift totals wise.
This is going to be how I will run things from now with cycles and comps lining up. Actual first competition back I am aiming for Late November/ December in some capacity after the next run.
Anyway I am soooooo ready to go now. Body is just buzzing with energy. Deload weights are easy and flying around.
For the first time I feel in total control of my diet, program, plan and Peds all at the same time. Mentally refreshed and outlook is totally positive. Just want to start this cycle now.

Deca - Found a nice nerve this morning, but the actual Deca was easy and smooth once I was in. Joints are still feeling OK.

Diet. So here we go......
I am reducing my carb intake. Not quite as low as before but under 200.
I simply do not burn carbs enough so I end up storing them as fat.
I can't do cardio, not wont, can't.

I will outline why this once as it is not something I really discuss.
My knees are shot. I have no cartilage in either knee and no meniscus in my right one. The left knee's meniscus is severely degraded. The head of my right femur is deformed by osteoarthritis. It wont straighten, doesn't bend without a bit of effort and as such I have a reasonable limp. I don't actually notice any more as I have had it for so long now.
15 years ago I was told I needed a double knee replacement due to the damage and this would mean no real lifting with my legs again. So I have avoided going anywhere near this.
I can lift, and heavy, but I can't do anything that involves jarring them like stepping with a weight anmore. It's why I have a monolift 😉, and why RDLs are now not done 🤷‍♂️.
Standing around for ages is also a no-go as it is a bit painful.

So, therein, I don't do cardio any more and don't burn carbs like most of you younger brothers and sisters do.
I can however shift a bit of iron and get pretty big and strong doing this. Protein is my fuel for the most part.
So I did try the normal body-building diet thing and it wont work for me. So please don't feel slighted if I don't take up your dietary suggestions.
Almost go time now....and I have a plan, but thats tomorrow's log.

Sounds like you're back to full strength and then some. With the Dbol in now I wonder how much weight or reps will be added just in your first day back. Should be an interesting session.

Some of those pics look like they were taken from pretty high up. Almost like some cardio was needed to get there

Deca - Found a nice nerve this morning, but the actual Deca was easy and smooth once I was in. Joints are still feeling OK.

Diet. So here we go......
I am reducing my carb intake. Not quite as low as before but under 200.
I simply do not burn carbs enough so I end up storing them as fat.
I can't do cardio, not wont, can't.

I will outline why this once as it is not something I really discuss.
My knees are shot. I have no cartilage in either knee and no meniscus in my right one. The left knee's meniscus is severely degraded. The head of my right femur is deformed by osteoarthritis. It wont straighten, doesn't bend without a bit of effort and as such I have a reasonable limp. I don't actually notice any more as I have had it for so long now.
15 years ago I was told I needed a double knee replacement due to the damage and this would mean no real lifting with my legs again. So I have avoided going anywhere near this.
I can lift, and heavy, but I can't do anything that involves jarring them like stepping with a weight anmore. It's why I have a monolift 😉, and why RDLs are now not done 🤷‍♂️.
Standing around for ages is also a no-go as it is a bit painful.

So, therein, I don't do cardio any more and don't burn carbs like most of you younger brothers and sisters do.
I can however shift a bit of iron and get pretty big and strong doing this. Protein is my fuel for the most part.
So I did try the normal body-building diet thing and it wont work for me. So please don't feel slighted if I don't take up your dietary suggestions.
Almost go time now....and I have a plan, but thats tomorrow's log.

That sucks about the knees mate. Is there anything you could do cardio wise like cross-trainer / bike or swimming? Hope you don't mind me bringing it up. just talking from a general health perspective. Or what about GPP type stuff like sled pushing or just light weights? Powerlifters love that stuff right!

AND SO IT BEGINS!!!
Finally the time has come and this cycle gets going. Training session went extremely well after a week off. Stepped straight back into my program and will be increasing weights after just first session. No lag whatsoever.
This was what I hoped the deload would do.
Now I am really excited to see where this 12 weeks will go in strength and size.

Finally the time has come and this cycle gets going. Training session went extremely well after a week off. Stepped straight back into my program and will be increasing weights after just first session. No lag whatsoever.
This was what I hoped the deload would do.
Now I am really excited to see where this 12 weeks will go in strength and size.

Great rest day yesterday. Love the Canadian themed meals plus I've hockey! Weather nowhere near like Canadian extremes but definitely cooling down.

AND SO IT BEGINS!!!
Finally the time has come and this cycle gets going. Training session went extremely well after a week off. Stepped straight back into my program and will be increasing weights after just first session. No lag whatsoever.
This was what I hoped the deload would do.
Now I am really excited to see where this 12 weeks will go in strength and size.
Easy shoulder hit tomorrow before deadlift singles in 2 days.

I really like the Dbol. I changed the dosage to 60mg over the last few days and take it at 3 separate times, morning, midday and 30-45 min before I train. This felt the best in me to date and I will keep it here for the remaining 3-4 weeks. Really felt better during my training session as keeping it as stable as possible in my system due to its short half life seems the best approach for me personally. 40mg hits all at once just felt a bit off to me.🩵

Seated Landmine Press 15x0,5, 4x15x7.5kg
**Left arm was a little bitchy but still managed these fairly easily.

**Not sure about this exercise. Angles are off and my left shoulder wants no part of it at present. Might use DB'S for 20 reps instead here

I like these exercises mate, a good way to strengthen the muscles and tendons without overdoing it. It’s also cool the way you’ve put the photo’s in like a diagram of your movement pattern. Hopefully you’re feeling well rested for some good deadlifts tomorrow 🩵
