as I understand you have to have certain body fat before start taking roids, I'm 5'6 and weight 94 kilos , 39 years old, as you can tell I'm over weight, but I have know 3 guys taking var for weight loss and they got incredible results, they weren't as heavy as I'm but they were overweight. What would happen if I start taking var 20-40 mg a day with my stats? obiviously training and eating clean, thanks

You need to lose some Weight before doing any AAS.

The Heavier you are, the more Strain on your Internal Organs.
And the Risk of Side Effects go up.

So try Tracking your Diet via Myfitnesspal.
It's a Free Diet Tracking App for Computers and Smartphones.
Follow the Online Prompts to Set-up an account.............................. JP
P.S.
Then when you get your Body Fat down, you can do some AAS.
But only if you have been Training, and have built a Base, if not, AAS are Not for you.

I seriously doubt the validity of that statement. Yes, anavar is known to produce lean muscle mass, but that does mean that anavar nor any other steroid is a fat burner because the only fat burners are calorie deficit "diets" and consistent cardio vascular exercise/hard work.
So the aforementioned "3 guys" may very well have achieved incredible results, but those results did not stem from their having taken anavar. They simply ingested a very expensive placebo; a placebo that may or may not have actually been anavar because anavar is the most frequently faked steroid.

For more information, Damian, peruse the thread that lies at the end of the following URL: https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/anabolic-steroids-peds/anavar-weight-loss-49472.html (pay very close attention to muskate's response).

anavar isn't a fat burner man. you are wasting your time and shutting yourself down for nothing

you need to fix your diet FIRST. your problem is you eat too much, not really unusual

eat less food and less often. make sure you go to sleep in a deficit everyday, if it means skipping dinner totally then so be it. if you don't wake up hungry in the morning or during the night then you simply aren't in a deficit and need to do better

If you start eating clean and in a deficit every single day you will notice weight loss and realize that the real secret is consistency with diet. Adding anavar will not help you lose the fat any faster. What will help is adding in exercise. The important thing is to do it every day. You cant just eat good a few days per week.

Well stated. Charts and estimates on caloric expenditure are a good starting point, and access to technology which measures caloric expenditure is not always accessible or cost effective.

People forget that those charts, TDEE calculators etc. are meant to be used as ball park figures. There is going to be a +/- 20% margin of error.

Also - calorie expenditure numbers on cardio equipment GREATLY over estimate how much calories you burn.
