I stopped using them a while back. I'd argue the research rarely goes on long enough and I think BCAA MIGHT make a SMALL difference over a VERY long time.
My take on bcaa's is that they are not by no means necessary to grow muscle and in most cases waste of money.
If you want to buy these amino acid supplements choose EAA products instead because those have all the essential amino acids your body needs whereas in bcaa's there are only 3 essential aminos in them.
The easiest solution though would be just stick with "normal" food to cover your amino acid/protein needs but if the money isn't an issue then go for it.
it is a waste. you build muscle from breaking it down and repairing it over time. it takes many years to grow muscle, using BCAA's will not make a lick of difference
I tend to agree it’s a waste. People really get hooked into supp advertising hook, line, and sinker. It’s a personal choice but I would rather invest in good foods like salmon, steak cuts, and gtg gear. I do take a multi, organ support, whey. I don’t even use a preworkout since coffee does it better.
