if this is your first cycle, i always recommend test only... i would certainly not use deca on a first cycle...
run deca with proviron and you won't get deca dick

What is the role of proviron in this combination? I've heard Dylan and others say this but I've never heard a solid explanation for why.
Proviron is a DHT derivative which helps with libido and it also helps raise free test by binding to SHBG, creating a higher free test to total test ratio.

Test can run anywhere from 250-300mg/week, Deca at 400-600mg/week, proviron at 50mg/day. Have caber on hand in case you need it for prolactin issues. Usually its dosed at .25mg twice a week as needed.

It does though. Any DHT will help with combating Deca Dick. People choose proviron because of the low side effects and the fact that since it is not liver toxic you can run it the whole cycle.
This right here. Proviron combined with caber turns me into a straight up sex fiend even on relatively high doses of deca.

nandrolone metabolizes to DHN dihydronandrolone. that swamps DHT in the body and shoots off your dick. so the best thing to do is to use a DHT derviative with it. remember testosterone only converts 5% to DHT, but proviron is a pure DHT compound. so anyone who says that test will save you when using deca is wrong, and there are thousands of threads online of guys who ran test with deca and still had deca dick. go figure. it is the proviron which is the most important thing to use with it

Thanks for the explanation, Steve. I will check out the podcast this evening. Would mast or another injectable DHT-derived compound suffice in lieu of using proviron?
Yeah mast is good for that. I prefer proviron after using both but I know many out there prefer mast.

I didn’t see that you guys put out the deca podcast?
deca is kind of a harsh steroid lol. raises prolactin so you have to run cabergoline. lowers serotonin so a 5htp with l-tyrosine supplementation is a must. the drug can lower thyroid function. first cycle should be test. a good second cycle is test with equipoise imo. not a huge fan of the orals and wouldnt mess with them unless you are planning on competing honestly.

equipoise is the first steroid id stack with after having run test by itself. EQ can lower gaba levels so id take a gaba supplement. raises hgb hct rbc counts moreso than any other steroid so donating blood is a must and all steroid users should take advantage of blood donations imo. 1 pint every 2 months is what the red cross allows.

Absolutely. Masteron is actually the best thing to run with deca. Way better and stronger than proviron
