Hi there!

I'm new around here, so I guess I'll introduce myself.

The basics & the backstory... 37, F. Mum of 5. 4 of whom are biological kiddos and one bonus adopted kiddo. Kids are between 3-14 yo. I live on a farm with the kids, my dog, our ex-barn cats who are now living it up as house cats, chickens, goats, and my horses. As well as all this I also manage to hold down a part time role as an accountant, go me.

Not sure where to start, so I guess I'll go back to where this started. About 8 months ago, around July 2025, I decided I was just not happy with my body or the way things were going. I was tired, grumpy, and on the verge of going back to an old substance abuse problem from my past. I was miserable, drinking 5-6 coffees a day, but even though I was exhausted all the time I wasn't sleeping properly either. It was all a bit of a vicious cycle. I weighed around 78kg, and on my 5'3 frame it showed.

I started off pretty small, I just made a couple of changes that I thought I could commit to for longer than 2-3 weeks. I cut out unnecessary sugar - so for example, I stopped having 1-2 teaspoons of sugar in coffee, and I swapped full-sugar soft drinks for water and sugar free versions - I also made a commitment to my gorgeous pooch to make sure she got the enrichment that she needed by taking her for a walk as many afternoons a week as I could.

This was great, and from July-November 2025 I lost about 6 kgs, slowly but steadily. In November, I had the courage to walk into a Pilates studio and really start to focus on just showing up for myself. I went from 1, to 2, to now 5-7 classes a week (and lost another 8kg along the way, bringing my total weight loss to 14kg since last July). The thing I love about the studio I attend is that they don't just teach Pilates, they also have fusion classes, and in January I worked up the courage to finally attend one. First it was a barre/pilates class which felt like it was just 500 squats and some toe taps. Then I went to a Powerhouse class, which is Pilates and cardio boxing, and then i finally worked up the courage to attend one of their Lift classes, which is a combination of reformer Pilates moves that are more like what you'd see in a gym (lunges, split squats, planks, glute bridges, single leg glute bridges, etc, using multiple heavy springs to create more resistance) and light barbells and dumbells - at the time the heaviest dumbells in the studio were 5kg and the heaviest barbell was about 8. Now, as we've all gotten stronger, the studio has gone and gotten us heavier weights - our heaviest dumbells are now 8kg each and the heaviest barbells are 12kg, which is great considering the environment, but also still limiting.

This class woke something up in me and i've found out that I actually really love lifting weights. I bought myself a barbell and weight plates to use at home, and I have done so quite a few times, but having a small kid in the house makes this really hard because he wants to try and do what I'm doing and I can just see that becoming a bloody disaster.

So i have decided to join a gym that has opened up near me. I don't really know what I'm doing and I'm sure some of the equipment will be super intimidating at first but that's okay - there's always youtube if there's no staff in the gym, and i think they give you a couple of PT sessions and they run group classes there too, although I dont know what the group classes consist of as yet. I thought this log might be a good way to keep myself accountable once I start going which I'm hoping to maybe be able to start this weekend if things go to plan.

I also hit a bit of a wall with my weight loss about 2 months ago, and since then I havent lost much if anything at all. I did also lose my 100 year old grandfather which may have played a part but in my annoyance I started to research and I started learning about peptides.
I started off on a stack of sermorelin, ghk-cu and bpc157. Unfortunately the sermorelin hasnt worked the way I had hoped it would and I think thats due to the way it can cause blood sugar spikes, which paired with the cortisol levels of a mum with 5 kids isnt going to help much with being able to let go of fat.

Current stats
5'3 (this isnt about to change any time soon, haha)
64kgs
BF is sitting at about 24% but i am not sure how accurate my scale is, so I'm keen to use the scanner at the gym!

Current stack
BPC-157 250mcg
GHK-Cu 2mg
(and I'm waiting on a delivery of some Retatrutide 10mg). I'm also about to run out of BPC and GHK so I might be looking for a new supplier if any vendors on here are looking for loggers.

Goals
Short term:
Get over this hurdle
Get started at the gym
Continue working on better sleep habits. It's 12:20am and I'm not in bed, but it's Friday, so shh.
Remember to drink more water (I have ADHD so remembering to eat can be hard, let alone remembering to drink water - but i do find that if i set myself up for the day at work with a drink bottle I do much better than if I don't).

Long term:
Id love to get back to 55kg, but in saying that, when I was 55kg i didnt have any muscle, and considering that muscle is more dense than fat I might find I'm happier with where I'm at before I get there if you catch my drift.

I don't know what else to say for now, except that I'm excited to have something to keep me a little bit more accountable!

Forgot to mention
Current Supps:
Protein shake with collagen & creatine in the mornings after pilates or a walk depending on the day/schedule
L-Carnitine gummies before workouts (this is new)
A womens multivitamin that has iron, B5, B6, vitamin D, vit K, etc
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) when i remember to have it!

BF is sitting at about 24% but i am not sure how accurate my scale is, so I'm keen to use the scanner at the gym!

WOW!! What a story and welcome to the EVO family sister!
I love you how walk us through your log like you're talking to us, it gives me a glimpse into your personality and it's fun! Very cool to see you have a "current stack" too and bravo to your grandfather for making it to the big 100, he sounds like he was a perseverant man who lived a full life!

Get us up some pics of your base physique and go ahead and black out your face and we'll get this in the mod que for log approval. I'm looking forward to this one I wanna help you get some sleep with new peptides! You need it LOL (5 kids wowza, I have 4 of my own and 3 stepkids so I feel your pain LOL).

Welcome to the forum sister! 14kg down with 5 kids and a farm to run is seriously impressive, most people can't even commit to a gym let alone that kind of consistency. The wall is normal and frustrating but the fact you started researching peptides and found your way here shows you're not the type to just accept it.

Love that you discovered lifting too, once that bug bites you it never leaves haha. The gym will be a game changer compared to studio weights.

Following along, keen to see the gym journey start 💪

Oh my goodness! Thanks for all the love guys!!

Today has been off to a super slow start, the farm house is bloody freezing.

So far today I have had an omelette with corn and a sprinkle of high protein cheese and I have done sweet FA except clean the house for the cleaner who is coming tomorrow. I know that sounds silly but I don’t want her to be tidying and doing basic shit I want her to be scrubbing walls and doing the stuff I don’t have time for lmao 😂

Ok that posted before I had finished 😂

Photos I have not many from when I first started because I was just soooo miserable, but here’s one from a Christmas in July thing
IMG_3585.webp

This is where I started, you can actually see the weight and the loss a lot more in my face so this is hard lol!

This was just before Christmas, walking a horsie

And this is me now with that pooch I love so much ☺️ you also get a little glimpse into this farm life of mine so that’s cool too!

I’ve had a lil chat with the asylum and I thought since we’re both newish around here it would be nice to help each other out ❤️ and I’m about to message a guy about a gym membership, so I’m doing the thing!

Welcome to Evo!

Your story is AMAZING! So awesome what you’ve been able to achieve so far!

I’m very excited for your gym journey!
I’m confident you’ll find it to be a really friendly and encouraging place - in addition there are loads of people here who are always willing to give feedback and instructions on exercises to help you out!

Not sure if you’ve started the Reta yet - a perk a lot of people find is it dulls addictions (alcohol etc.).
Sing out if you need any help with dosing on any of your peds!

@RGSX and @RegenexPharma are awesome vendors here and have both awesome peds if you need more GHKCU (they also have the glow which you might find easier) and some female specific supplements!

What are you taking in the way of supplements? (Fish oil, magnesium, etc.)

And do you have a workout plan?

I’ll be following along and feel free to tag myself,
@Alice_In_Ironland and @Sheshredz anytime you have questions!

Ps. Your home life and farm sounds delightful 🥰🥰
Thankyou heaps! I added some supps under the first post that I forgot in the first, but I do take magnesium when I remember to as well - damn brain!

Haven’t started the Reta yet, it should be here by Tuesday ❤️

Oh also! I forgot to add! So far my work out plan is whatever we’re doing at the studio and I do the same barbell workout on YouTube at home with penny barnshaw lmao and I just have been progressively upping weight/reps but this is getting really hard to continue at home with the toddler! I think once I get into the gym and see what they have and learn how to use some of the big scary equipment, I’ll be able to start to put together a bit of a plan. Silly gym doesn’t seem to have anyone there for me to get a membership over the weekend, how dare they have days off 😂

Thanks for letting in on a little peak of your farm life it's a wonderful part of EVO that we have that no other forums have. Mental health and a balanced life is a big part of success with our goals in the gym and overall physical health.

@astral1988 that's a lot of work maintaining a farm and all those animals plus all those kids as well. You are an absolute warrior.

Sister, not bad on the supplements but watch out on those gummies. A lot of times they add a lot of junk to it. Maybe get something that's better quality. @astral1988

Ok that posted before I had finished 😂

Photos I have not many from when I first started because I was just soooo miserable, but here’s one from a Christmas in July thing

This is where I started, you can actually see the weight and the loss a lot more in my face so this is hard lol!

The difference is definitely huge. @astral1988 can definitely tell you look like a completely different person and the most important thing is you're going to live a longer and healthier life.

@astral1988 do you make money from your farm or is it a situation where you just like having lots of animals? I have a buddy who has a farm north of me out in the country and he has a hard time making money.

Oooh this is a good point! I am a good girl and only take the L-carnitine in gummy form haha - it's my lil treat after the multivitamin that feels like a horse pill 😅 but I will check the ingredients list and make sure it's not full of crap 🩷

Aww thank you! not the best pics ever, but I am glad people can see the difference, I can definitely feel it! I even stand up taller and stuff now because I just *feel* better about myself... i hope this continues and i grow more confident as I go (I am still pretty shy, this log is a huge step out of the comfort zone for me)!

@astral1988 that's a lot of work maintaining a farm and all those animals plus all those kids as well. You are an absolute warrior.
Yes it sure is a lot of work - throw in a part time (but still 5 days a week) job + volunteering and god knows where I find time to do this showing up for myself business, but I am making that time for me because I deserve it! :giggle:

On the gym I'd hire a PT for 1-2 sessions just for a 'show me' session.
I joined the gym!! I tried to get a PT to call me but literally nobody has, so I am just going to show up to this womens only strength class on Saturday because nobody else is booked in haha so I figure I'll get the trainer all to myself - I thought I'd tell them I'm brand new to all this and I'll ask them all the things after the class 😉

@astral1988 do you make money from your farm or is it a situation where you just like having lots of animals? I have a buddy who has a farm north of me out in the country and he has a hard time making money.
I make some money out of hay, but not really enough to cover the outgoings if that makes sense. Hence the desk job, lol.

Now since I've replied to everybodyyy (well almost).....
Welcome fully to the EVO family sister :D @astral1988 start by doing before pics more clear so we can keep going.

can you update your training and food as well? :D
Now it's your turn -- Ask and you shall receive !!

New Stack - Day 1 Thursday 16/4/26
64kg

Retatrutide .5mg (once a week, Wednesday night is pin night - bumping up to 1mg as of next week)
BPC-157 250mcg
GHK-Cu 2mg

Food - not much. I barely ate tbh, so even at a teeny tiny dose this stuff WORKS. I woke up just not wanting food, even the thought of it was bleh. I hope that calms down a little bit!!
I had a coffee in the morning, I managed to eat like 3 pieces of turkey breast for a snack and another coffee at work and then I had to force myself to eat dinner which was pulled chicken w/ rice, lettuce, tomato, avocado & corn kernels. I did manage to drink about 1.5L of water so while I didn't quite get to my 2L goal I did pretty good for me! Oh and a sneaky little bit (like maybe 3 spoonfuls) of some muscle nation protein ice cream 🤭 it was cold and I figured I had more than enough calories left over since I could barely eat anything!

Today's exercise -
45 min cardio boxing class with weighted gloves
Walked the dog - 1.5km

Other stuff - My face is currently gross as, but the GHK I have been on for a little while is now at the point where it's really starting to work and I am confident that my skin is purging (and super glad I get to cover my face for this picture) because I look like a teenager..

It’s probably better where you are, but in the US many ingredients aren’t listed. But they’re in almost everything. And legally speaking, those ingredients that aren’t listed are considered perfectly safe and not worth mentioning, but that is demonstrably false.

The reta is the REAL DEAL. It has so many more benefits other than just fat loss. Its basically a longevity medicine.

The farm life looks so nice!

Yesss I know. I’ve always been bad at remembering to consistently eat! I’m going to start putting the powders in the blender for my protein shakes the night before so I can just put milk in in the morning and go ❤️

It’s probably better where you are, but in the US many ingredients aren’t listed. But they’re in almost everything. And legally speaking, those ingredients that aren’t listed are considered perfectly safe and not worth mentioning, but that is demonstrably false.
I think in Aus they’re a little bit stricter on that kind of stuff but you are right about the things they say are safe sometimes are not. For example certain colourings and flavourings that appear with numbers send my kids absolutely loopy!

in Aus they’re a little bit stricter on that kind of stuff
A few friends of mine visited Australia two? years ago for a worlds waterskiing tournament. They said they could tell the food was healthier there because they could feel it. And they were traveling so I know they are eating fast food ans restaurants mainly

I have taken some inspo from @PhyscItsAdhd and I’ve been having bananas if I don’t feel like eating much. So I’ve been having protein shakes for breakfast, banana for lunch, and some kind of chicken something for dinner.

This weekend has been a bit of a lazy one - my son had to have a tooth ripped out at the dentist! 😨 Going to the park soon, so I’ll do some core exercises on the mat on the grass while the kids play

lets do that and update us :D
So I went and did one better - I'm a super visual person, so I went online and plugged in what I wanted to acheive and I got a whole week's worth of meals out of an AI bot. It amazes me what these things can do - bonus is that these are things I already eat, and if something im making has more protein/calories than whats on the chart I can drop or swap a snack for something else but it gives me a visual base of what I should be aiming for. Even better, a lot of this is stuff I already cook and and that the kids love to eat, so that's a win!

Soo here is my diet for this week! Sorry for the annoying gaps I had to convert the PDF into jpgs so i could attach it here. this is now going on the fridge because it helps me to see what I'm doing :)

Update!
Week 2, Saturday
62.3kg!!

I’m so happy I could cry. It has been hard to stick to the diet plan 100% because kids and rushed mornings but I’ve been trying to make sure if I don’t have time for eggs I at least have high protein porridge or a protein shake, but actually doing the diet plan gave me a good idea of what I should be aiming for and what my diet should look like, even if some things are tweaked. I’ve been eating bananas as a pre workout snack and it’s been so good!
As mentioned I went up to 1mg Reta this week as well ☺️

Exercise - weekend was lazy as mentioned, rest days!
Monday : Pilates 30 min morning and 25 min weights at the gym in the afternoon, upper and lower body
Tuesday: I went to athletica at the Pilates studio and she let me use the weights for the squats and lunges etc so that was good 😊
Wednesday: Pilates 30 min morning and 25 min weights at the gym in the afternoon, upper and lower body
Thursday: cardio boxing
Friday: rest day
I’ve also now downloaded an app so I can start to try and track my workouts a little better, let’s see how that goes!

Yes I do have to get a bit better at it! Need to remember to just actually write it down when I eat something - but sometimes my days are so busy I barely get time to scratch my ass let alone write down what I’ve eaten 😂
We will get there!

On the gym I'd hire a PT for 1-2 sessions just for a 'show me' session.
Good advice! My wife was so scared of the weights mainly because she didn't want to go in there and use them wrong and look dumb. After I started training she said she wanted to go back to the gym. I told her I would go with her as many times as she wanted to teach her how to use the weights. It took 2 runs through the program and she said I don't need u anymore. Now I just go to hang out with her when I can but shes got it and has confidence to do it. It's good to have a trainer just help u if u don't have someone else to show u the ropes and make it seem less intimidating.

So this week I have had a bit of a crappy week. I was upset at work because my boss has been away and I’ve been doing everything, and jobs are sometimes like that and people don’t always see how much you’re actually doing.

I also looked at the most perfect farm in the most stupidly far away location and I want to cry because it’s literally perfect for my kids and me.. but omg the driving would be insane. So there’s that.

I’ve been eating well. Everyday I have a protein shake and coffee for breakfast, lunch is either an omelette or a turkey / salad wrap and dinner has been omlettes, marry me chicken, spag bol with the high protein pasta, or my fave chicken bowl (chicken, brown rice, lettuce, tomato, avocado, corn kernels) and I have bananas for snacks and this absolutely delicious high protein cookies & cream ice cream for dessert when I feel like something sweet.

And it’s working… because today is Friday on week 3 and I did my weekly weigh-in and we are at… *drumroll*….

61.5!!

Things are really moving and improving!! I did an actual happy dance when I hopped off the scale!

I know the number on the scale won’t always be the guiding factor but for today, right now, this small little change in numbers has made me feel like there really is a point to all this ❤️ this week I’ve only managed to get to Pilates, cos I was feeling a bit down.. it happens. I will get back in the gym this arvo!

Great update sister and big congrats on the weight drop. Sorry that the week has been shit, but your are still getting to classes and eating well and results are tumbling in now. Hopefully next week will be a bit nicer work wise. Try not to get down and upset with things, they will improve as they did this week. 🩵

I’m finding it very interesting that I’m dropping more weight eating more than I was when I was forgetting to eat, but cortisol and blood sugar spikes will do that!!

This is good advice! It’ll save you a lot of time and errors if you can have a trainer show you good form and give you a tick of approval to keep working on your own for some key lifts like deadlifts, bench, squat - that you can build a program around to develop a really solid foundation of muscle & strength 😊

I’m pretty confident with things like deadlifts and squats and lunges from Pilates but the machines are the thing that scare me! I have a family friend who is a recently qualified PT who has been in the gym for ages so I might ask her if she wants to help me in return for some content for her new PT business

Jobs can be a real mental and physical drain.

Good on your for the update ❤️

Hello!! Oh my goodness I’m so sorry I’ve been super quiet. I had some stuff going on health wise - endometriosis - and I wasn’t going to mention it but then I thought actually it may be helpful or relevant to someone else so I decided to include it and say something! I had a procedure a while back where they did a laparoscopy and scraped a bunch of the endometrium off of the places where it wasn’t meant to be, and things were so good for ages… and now it has decided to grow back and fuck my shit right up. 🤷‍♀️ So I guess I’ll be having another laparoscopy at some stage but not right now.

It’s very hard to be motivated when your body feels like it’s trying to rip itself apart; so there’s that, but I did still manage to get to Pilates most mornings bar one or two really awful days where I couldn’t even get to work or out of bed, and I even still got to the gym 3 afternoons a week and just did basic weighted lunges/squats, my core workouts that I am pretty sure I’ve detailed before, and bicep curls/lat raises/chest press.. nothing too crazy and I didn’t push myself super hard, but I was really proud of myself for making it there and doing something other than lying around in bed with my avocado shaped heat pack. 😅

Despite this, I have still been absolutely sticking to my nutrition goals though, even with the painful stuff that I had going on (the low calorie/ high protein ice cream I found that is absolutely delicious really helped, muscle nation cookies and cream 😉) and I’m seeing really amazing results… like maybe for example how I’m under 60kg for the first time in 10 years!

Week 5, Sunday (yesterday) morning weigh in
59.1!!!!

The wonderful Asylum also offered to send me some KPV to see if it helps with the inflammation so it will be very interesting to see how that goes - I’m honestly at a stage where I will try absolutely anything when I’m in that much pain, so I’ll very happily give it a shot - especially considering how well everything else is working, my knee pain is nowhere to be seen, and I’m so so happy with my progress, even though I’ve had a bit of a crap time with health stuff.

❤️❤️

Hey Girl, im sorry to hear about your medical news.

I've struggled a fair bit with all sorts of issues around my reproductive system, so you aren't alone. Its brave of you to speak openly about it, and im glad you did.

Obviously im not a doctor and this isn't medical advice, but HGH has been the big quality of life improver for me.

Happy to talk more if you like 😍

So sorry to see this. That is one very tough ride you have there sister. I hope the KPV helps. You are incredible just getting a few pilates and even gym sessions in and keeping your diet in check. Most would have tossed the towel by now.
Thinking of you sister and all the Evo love I can send 🩵

I knew I was forgetting something!!

My diet is pretty boring now as I eat a variation of the same things pretty much every day so it’s very easy for me to tell people what I’ve been eating!!

Breakfast-
I choose between scrambled eggs, high protein porridge or a protein shake when I’m short on time which is most mornings lol 😝

Morning tea - coffee, sometimes a banana, sometimes not.

Lunch - if I didn’t have a protein shake for breakfast I’ll have it now. If I did, I’ll have a chicken and salad wrap or an omelette with corn and high protein cheese

If I think I’m not close enough to my protein goal for the day I’ll swap one of my drink bottles of water for a protein water

Dinner - literally the same things on rotation.
Choices are:
Marry me chicken and rice / bolognese with pork mince and high protein pasta / lemon & herb chicken or fish with veggies / pork tacos with high protein cheese and Greek yogurt instead of sour cream / chicken enchiladas with high protein cheese, Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and salad / chicken or pork souvlaki with low fat Greek yoghurt instead of garlic sauce / pulled chicken w rice, avocado, lettuce, tomato & corn

Dessert - when I need it - Musclenation cookies and cream icecream or strawberries and protein yoghurt

Pre-workout snack - banana!

It seems to be working just eating the same things on rotation so that’s what I’m doing 😊
