I've looked at the Clinical Data for Hyperpigmentation, and only saw 1 Case noted by the AAD.

Hyperpigmentation ~ Common Skin Condition where Patches of Skin become Darker.
It usually occurs when an Excess of Melanin forms Deposits in the Skin (melanin/the brown pigment that produces normal skin color).

I would say it's Highly Unlikely, but is Not out of the Realm of Possibilities.
I Personally don't know of anyone who has reported these Side Effects.

This is from the American Academy of Dermatology.......................... JP.
P.S.
The pathogenesis of testosterone-induced pigmentation is currently unknown. After examination of the histologic findings, we thought that epidermal melanocytes might have been stimulated by testosterone and sun exposure, which might have increased melanin production. In literature, there was only one report indicating the relationship between methyltestosterone and acanthosis nigricans.[3] Our case is also the first report showing that testosterone therapy may be related to hyperpigmentation. While the use of drugs may only rarely play a role in the etiology of hyperpigmentation and acanthosis nigricans, we should not ignore them.

Acanthosis Nigricans ~ is a Skin Condition that causes one or more areas of the Skin to Darken & Thicken.

muskate has been on test since he was in his late teens and he is a pale canadian.

i don't see how this makes any sense that you take hormones and get darker skin. maybe the person just spend more time outdoors and their skin got darker

What - non stop?

We had this question a few weeks back. At best some get a higher BP which added a red tinge to the skin. JP has shown that there's only ever been ONE example of it happening. Think about how long steroids have been about - decades.
