Ok figured we could share some ideas here ive got afew curios too pick up some more my favs. Fat free cottage cheese pb2 splenda eaten on choclate rice cakes . plain fat free greek yogurt mix in splenda and vanilla extract and sit in freezer for an hour then stir almost like ice cream minus all the fat and sugar . cup of oatmeal and cup of egg whites in blender cook like pancakes then mix whey protien and splenda till icing like consistancy and poor over them .

Shit gets real hard when you drop dairy.... Greek yogurt frozen in with some chocolate whey was always a go to for me.
Now at only a few weeks out my life is hell. Thank god for quest chips though and quest bars.

Cashews are always good to go for me.

Also every once in a while you can find sugar free gummy bears. I usually find them online. Not the greatest... But zero carbs and sugar you cant really complain.

Depending on how people are with sodium, natural beef jerky is cool. I have a lot of places here and Texas where I can get it fresh and un processed.

My real problem is snacking actually... Creates horrible habits for me. I wont stop. If i'm not in a structure where I eat strictly meals i'm fucked. I need to stick with just meals and the few supplements in between for me to be successful. Even those sugar free gummy bears... I start with a few but soon that whole bag will be gone and even though its sugar free, tat shit is going somewhere lol. I have no self control... .

I like fruits but the sugars im carb sensitive more so i cut fruits after 5 when dieting maybe an apple post workout but other than that no meal at night has more than 25 grams of carbs most of my deserts ar night are lean protien sorces cottage cheese greek yogurt and ill use pb2 but real peanut butter just too much fat 1 tbs is good but thats not enough too shake a stick at

And i dont snack really my little meals like this are p lanned into my meals and acounted its usually my 6th meal so i need too get 50 grams of protien in it

Watch those sugar free gummies bro there not really sugar free sucrolose and sugar alchols still have calories under 4 per serving fda permits labeling 0 cals its a lie

Not keto but i carb cycle on the low side and have my higher carb days around more intense training days ie legs and back day usually between 150 too 250 grams a day almost all low glycemic brown rice oatmeal sweet pataoes some fruit not much

Mostly watch my body if i get fatigued or go flat ill add carbs but too much and i spill over real easy

also you try metformin before carbs to see if that helps?

I ask cause I am a pescetarian so I have to carb up more than other guys on here or my energy levels tank. plus I am already hypoglycemic, always have been since I was a kid.. I remember almost passing out during recess cause I didn't have any carbs on hand, would always have to take a trip to the nurse where she would never connect the dots

I wish I could do keto but my personal beliefs don't allow it at this time.

and you are right about leg day.. if I don't carb up ahead of it I am really fucked, I might be able to stop at the gas station and grab a protein bar to save me but usually its a lost cause.. when I used to be a runner the morning out of my races I figured out mixing rice and sweet potato 2 hours before start time would be perfect

These are some interesting ideas that I will try to implement into my diet plan. Thanks for sharing!

Get rid of the splenda and pick up some stevia. Peanut butter and bananas, homemade granola, almonds, pumpkin seeds, anything with a lot of fiber, quest bars

Ya I know. Il find the ones I get. They are not too bad. Ive seen what you mean though with some others at whole foods and sprouts. Sure as fuck not something you wanna eat on a strict prep diet lol. It will spark your cravings like no other. I also avoid fruits personally for this reason. I also just don't find them satisfying. Rather give my carb limits up to something else.

You can throw some mean stuff together with P28 products as well. I have made some interesting things. Especially if your going to use peanut butter and crap like that anyway.

I really don't snack much, but when I do it's broccoli/carrots or some type of beef jerky. I prefer to stick to small meals without anything in between though sometimes you need something.

fruits and nuts is the way to go. try to keep it all natural and you cant go wrong

If I go to a gas station or absolutely need something I'll go for nuts first, then beef jerkey. After that, aint nothing else I'd touch

I wasnt really refering too random snacking cause i dont do that at all i actually have either a quest bar or beef jerky mid morning and its not random its planned into my meals before hand i count andntrack everythin I meant the creations we concoct that are high protien and low in fat and sugars and counted into our meals like the ones i mentioned .

Like this favorite shake 1 cup greek yogurt 1 cup farelife fat free milk 1 cup carton egg whites half cup splenda 2 tsp vanilla extract ice blend taste like real icecream milkshake 61 grams protien 10 grams carbs 0 fat

One of my favourite and simplest snacks is to cook a bowl of oatmeal, let it cool for 5-10 minutes and mix in protein powder. The protein powder flavours the oatmeal and it tastes incredible.

Make a protein shake and use it as a 'mock milk' and pour it over cold cereal.

Vanilla isolation from n2bm.com + rice krispies is an awesome post workout snack.

I'm gonna give that a shot at some point. Never thought of that...

Fruit is the best kinda snack for me. Can't go wrong with a fruit! I love snacking on watermelon! It's low on calories plus it's 92% water!

I make my shakes with milk i only use the fairlife fat free or unsweetend almond milk depends on calorie needs and goals the fairlife ff milk only has 6 gm carbs and 13 gm protien add a scoop of isolate and some ice too a blender and you have a tasty 37 grams of protien and 6 gm of carbs if im cutting hard ill use almond milk only 30 cals per serving

I dont do much fruit an apple post workout sometimes but. My carbs stay under 200 grams most days so no room for the sugars mostly veggies for me love salads .if ive met my macros and really hungry ill munxh on cucumbers with hot sauce taste good and turns off the hunger
