hey guys, im 18 and have been working out for almost a year except for the past month i have been out of the gym with mono. before i get back into it next week i was wondering what you guys would recommend supplement wise in order to gain muscle. I am a hard gainer with a small frame and would really like to beef myself up a little bit for the summer. All suggestions are welcome!
 
CARBS! protein, healthy fats, vitamins and toss some creatine in there for the hell of it
 
mono is called the kissing virus, stop kissing whores.. i knew a chick who had it, brutal thing to go through

as far as how to build muscle. there isn't some magic formula. you are only 18. get on a good workout program NOW and stick to it long term. the muscle will slowly build. the more hours you put in the more results you can get. at 18 i wouldn't recommend anything more than some creatine and n2generate from n2bm
 
There is no such thing as a hard gainer as I always tend to say. You may have somewhat faster metabolism than some people but if you eat enough you will gain weight.

Unfortunately I don't know of any specific product I could recommend that's gonna put pounds and pounds of muscle on your frame. A good whey isolate is good investment which you can use to make your own gainers. But what you need to keep in mind that supplements are just the added extra and your primary focus needs to be on eating actual food. If you are a not good eater then that's something you must learn to master if you want to grow.

With guys like you who find it difficult to eat enough it basically boils down to making strategic food choices. If you need more specific guidance you can email me and I am glad to help you out.

Hard gainer is really a bullshit term. Except for the genetic elite in the top 0.01% we are all hard gainers. Take it from me. I was 130 lbs at your age and started lifting when I was 13. Gains are made in the kitchen. That should be your primary focus
