You look good for offseason @Dave1288499 i think you can add some mass right now as you're bulking a bit, we need to work on arms as your #1 and shoulders, but not heavy controlled first then heavy
 
My experience this far is if I eat enough my body will recover from anything. I've done way more than this as a natty; my body is built for endurance I did worse volume training to join the army

No I was at work today, but that's what I had been doing as of late when not working. He told me to post but I kinda haven't really been liking seeing my body so I haven't been taking photos. Ok I'm not but for some reason I keep thinking I am that or super skinny

Aw seeing points out of order, #2- I had several bad sunburns but I get dark every summer for someone with (pom heritage). #1a Ah true I use the worst lighting I can ring light is on highest white setting with brightness all the way up, and 1b I legit didn't think of that, I've used higher heights for my nice photos when I want to look good I'll try chest height next week. (Honestly I need to get back into taking progress photos but I've been so repulsed by my body that I get myself in these loops and I'd rather not have what potential mess I'm imagining on my phone)

@Dave1288499 once you build in your conditioning you'll notice the difference. Just be a little patient. You're still a young dude, man. It takes time for muscle to really develop and you're never going to achieve the body you want in life. It's a constant battle once you do achieve the body you want. Then you have to really work hard at maintaining it so it never ends.

That makes sense, I didn't take the putting fat back on part of bulking well. Maybe I need to be more consistent with progress photos

you have one thing you can't get, no matter how hard you try when you're young: the hours in the gym. That's why when you see guys in their 40s and 50s who are super strong, you wonder how did they get that strong even though they aren't working out as hard as you or as much as you? Well it's because they've been at it for 25 years. Just keep at it and be consistent and good things will happen.

It's good that you're hard on yourself. That is the alpha mentality and something that I've been trying to teach on here. @Dave1288499 keep being tough on yourself and keep wanting to improve. That's the only way you'll get better.

you can quit bodybuilding if you mean competitive bodybuilding. i mean you can always get back into that when you are older so who cares. but lifestyle and such is for life no matter what. never get away from that.

I meant bodybuilding completely. The lifestyle and everything. I'm not competing for a while I'm not in a financial position and no one in my team are ready either so we doing a long off season

It's like saying one day I want to be a professional football player. It just isn't realistic and, like you said, it's economically not sustainable unless you have money to burn.
So it's not why we do this. We do this so that we can have great energy both mentally and physically throughout the day and sleep wonderfully at night and live a good quality life.

Sounds like you really love it so that’s a good thing and you should definitely do it man as you build more popularity on here you’ll start building a network and hopefully one of the sources steps and will be a big help to you financially.

We'll see but I will put most of my attention to side hustles and work. I'll work on being more consistent but I've been going through a low energy phase and I haven't really been active anywhere

man that is life. i'm almost 50 and I am still hustling in life. it never ends. my advice is enjoy your work and you are still young enough to still go to school and learn new skills that will make life easier as you age

I need money before I can chase a degree. I plan to focus on on special needs and see if I can help people with similar brains but It'll be several years before I can. And getting a teaching job as a man is near impossible

definitely in today's world it's okay to just have a family like this on this forum that will always be there for you and always supportive. You don't really need people in real life except maybe a spouse and a couple family members that are very reliable. That's my opinion. I think friends are super overrated. You find out who your real friends are when you move and the friends don't even show up to help.

I have a good circle they've been there for me when I wanted to kill myself and on a less serious note they tried their best to keep me level while I was dieting. What I mean is I want to alter my circle to have more people that have the same goals

then you have what you need, my friend, and you're gonna meet more people as you get older.

  • It might be one really good friend that you connect with.
  • You'll meet people through college.
  • You'll meet people through your hobbies.
The friends that you have before may not be with you going forward but you'll definitely make new ones.

Here's my update, I was sick last week from some big going around. This week a storm hit and I don't have power here's some photos I got when the sun was out, not sure about training without a working shower. I lost my ability to eat and hit a low weight of 79kg

@Dave1288499 you look amazing man, fantastic physique. I don't know why you give yourself a hard time. You have a solid body with a tight waist and nice v-shape. Keep it going.
 
@stevesmi gives me sh*t when mine goes out (6 minutes is the longest ever). My power and phone comes in via overhead as oppoosed to underground. So if it's stormy it affects them.

Bros, not at all. @Dave1288499 stuff going to happen in life. When I was down for two years after my plumbing accident, it wasn't a waste. My mind actually got stronger and I was able to come back very stronger than ever before.

Sometimes life gets in the way of your training. It is what it is. Hopefully your sickness gets better and hopefully the weather gets better. What in the world though kind of storm can knock out your power like that though? Is that a tornado or something? @Dave1288499

We get cyclones but no tornados where I live on the east coast and North you get them but I just don't get them where I live
