Do bodybuilders ever cycle off?

Do you think that any of the professional bodybuilders ever goes completely off steroids at some point of time? Or they do take real rests? Does it take a bad stall on their health?

In the end of the day, you will never know for sure if someone is using a certain compound, or if the bodybuilders cycle off, so it is hard to tell for sure - only they know that. Personally, I think that most of them do cruise and blast, and never really get off cycle, but this is my opinion only. In addition to that, you need to keep in mind that some bodybuilders are also genetically gifted, and they do not need so much gear.

Most top ifbb pros never cycle off.. If they not blast cruising they are on permanent trt.. They may not always be conditioned but they are always full

in the old days they would cycle off to shed all that water retention and bloat.. they didn't have AI's back then

today not only do pro's stay on absurd amounts of gear but so do the normal joes you see on social media. i would say for a guy like rich Piana for example he 'cruises' on 2-3 grams of gear a week.

bostin loyd was on our podcast and said he is doing IF IT FITS YOUR SYRINGE for tren. and he isn't even a pro.

Bostin would use if he was on Mars and everyone else dead. I'd say so do. Bostin and others who aren't in their class like to think pros only look that way cos they're on. This gives them the excuse to do the same. I'm 280lbs right now and only did 1 8 week cycle this year for my last competition. There are members and even mods on this site who only weigh 280 when they carry dumbbells back to the rack. Any pro, like former 8x Mr O Ronnie Coleman, who take MONTHS OFF after the Mr O are probably off all 'supplements' as they like to call steroids.

that is a pretty cocky post man.

post up pics man. you realize anyone on the internet can claim whatever they want

also not everyone was born to bodybuild. in fact very people are. if you got up to 280 at under 10% body fat than you are genetically gifted PERIOD. Dave Palumbo was just on our podcast and said he would eat mcdonalds everyday when he was a pro and admits no matter how much he ate he still stayed lean. you realize that 99.9% of people will not stay lean eating mcdonalds unless they are crackheads

I'll PM you now. But I am , as I've stated elsewhere on the forum, NOT a bodybuilder. I'm a strength athlete.

right.. my buddy in the gym is 5 9 and 240 pounds.. he trains for strength.. but the dude has a gut hanging out and has major heart problems.

you gotta put that shit into context

if i wanted to be big and fat i could as well.. my goals are not that anymore!! I used to be over 200 at my short height and 17% body fat.. that was when i was my strongest benching 400+ and squatting 600+.. not my goals anymore!

1) Does he cycle off ha ha (that being the point) and
2) I'm a LOT taller so hopefully more proportionate
3) How tall are you??

I'm only 5' 7" man, maybe a tad less

I'm actually way better as a strength athlete, but i tore my rotator cuff 3 years ago and it hasn't been the same since + i have 3 degenerative discs and cubital elbow problem. i wish i could cut off my entire right shoulder and arm and grow a new one.. lol

one day hopefully I will get healthy again and be able to get a new PR

200 at 5'7 is solid as.

I've issues with L5 that saw me on my ass for 3 months last year (fortunately lots of physio, rehab and I'm 99% ok now) and my left rotator hates me but I make it my bitch ha ha (then moan about it after training)

I am good friends with a lot of pro bodybuilders and train a lot of pros.

99.99% of pros do not come off completely but they DO go down to nothing but their TRT testosterone dosage (usually around 200mg/week) for at least a couple weeks multiple times per year. They are forced to do guest postings and with things like Instagram, Facebook etc. they need to stay in decent shape the majority of the year but they do come off for at least a couple weeks multiple times per year.

Coming off (or going down to your TRT dosage) is VERY important to let your body rest and to re-set your androgen receptors. It's kind of like a 1 step back for 2 steps forward approach.

most stay cycling all year round, but every once in a while you will get some who jump of detox have a little break and back straight on it......

no chance

probably "cruise" on AT LEAST 500mg of test for 2 weeks after a show then it's straight back onto the strong stuff

these guys would lose 50-60lbs of muscle if they went off, look at Vic Martinez when he got out of jail

If paying my mortgage depended on gainz like it does the pros, no way Id be coming off gear until I retired.

I know a lot of bodybuilders who weigh in excess of 250lbs but precisely one of them carries less than 10% body fat, and he stands 6'5" (270 lbs.) Yeah, very big men who carry less than 10% body fat are rare.

I think that most of the Pro's these days are in a tough spot.

They are either getting ready for a Show, or they are doing Guest Appearances for one of their Sponsors.

So that means at the lowest, they are most likely on a TRT dose of Test.
And then a few times a year they are Blasting.

And who's to say how much HGH/Insulin/IGF-1/or Peptides they do yearly.
But this is what the sport has become..................................... JP
P.S.
I know a few Pro's, and they stay on at least a Higher Dose of TRT all year long.
Like around 500 Mg a week, but this varies with the particular person.
