First cycle

Hello people. A friend of mine decided to do his first cycle. He's a hardgainer, 2 1/2 years of training, weights 165 pounds at 5'11, 21 years old and about 10-11% bodyfat.
He wants to go up to 180 lean mass (around 8% fat).
I told him to run Test enanthate for 10 weeks at 350 mg (because the sides would be easier to control) and he insists on adding proviron (preferably, or any other anti-aromataze drug) to minimize bloating.

What are your suggestions?

That he comes here and asks for himself. If only so we can tell him not to take advise from you - telling him at 21 it's ok to use gear - WRONG!
 
First of all there is no such thing as "hardgainer", your friend just simply isn't eating ENOUGH.
Secondly with those stats and training history your friend is not in a right position to start doing steroids.

What he needs to do first is to get a few more years training under his belt and LEARN how to eat.

I know this probably wasn't the answer you were looking for but I am just being protective and I think your friend still has plenty of years of progress to be made naturally.

the best bodybuilders ever were super lean when they were younger. that is a good thing, don't spin it into a bad thing .. the reason is you have plenty of room to grow and still be super lean. this is a huge advantage.

so have him go on a consistent workout and diet program for the next 5 years as said above. steroids will only delay progress and fuck up his hormones and HPTA. not good and he is way too young

Other than the genetic elite all humans are hard gainers. Your body will fight you to keep from building muscle. It's one of the basic principles of human physiology.

Your friend is too young. Tell him to keep eating big and training hard
