First Shot Mistake

Did my first shot today. My hands were shaking like crazy...but I got it done.

I screwed up and forgot to wipe down my glute w the alcohol swab. I can't beleive I forgot to do that...

Bad???

I washed my hands before hand, swabbed the top of the vial and used sterile needles and syringe.

if you are injecting in a locker room in the gym after you just wiped your ass then yes

if your skin and hands are clean then you have nothing to worry about

my rec'd is inject after a shower and you don't have to ever worry about swabbing

It's not a problem if you didn't wipe with alcohol swab no problem. Also my first time my hands were shaking too, you're not alone here. (lol I thought I was going to break the needle but later found out it's not possible, it would just bend)

Since your hands are clean, you have nothing to worry about.

You're good man. I always swab the top of the vial and injection site just be safe but as long as you aren't nasty or in a nasty environment you should be fine. Ocassionally I'll run out of wipes and I inject without swabbing.

After about your 3rd injection you’ll feel like a pro at it..

I don’t forget my first time... I was so tense that I was putting lateral pressure on the needle as I was injecting. When I pulled the pin out, the lateral pressure sent my hand and needle across my ass cheek, and the needle tip scratch my ass..

Good times. By inject 3, didn’t even think about it anymore; in fact I was looking forward to the next time.

Its only an issue if your skin isn't clean . And even then 99% of the time it wouldn't cause any issues
