Yesterday was a day of firsts. First time using GH and it worked like a miracle drug. Slept like a baby and had the best recovery score I've ever seen this morning.

Also tried some Arnold straight bar curls for the first time thanks to @LevButlerov I love them! What a pump. No wonder Arnold has such big guns. Arnold curls will definitely be one of my go to bicep exercises going forward.

Another great day of eating, training, and sleeping. I'm loving this 5 day arm split. Seems like a great way to grow arms and prioritize recovery.

I bought some Italian Pharma GH so I'd know for sure whether or not my body needs it. I saw that some people don't feel much of a difference with a low dose because they aren't deficient on IGF1. I'm almost 41 now so I was pretty sure I am, but grabbing the pharma GH could help me be sure.

Day 2 on the GH and another record high recovery score. I'm not sure of all the variables my Whoop strap considers for the recovery score, cuz it's not just 1 variable I can see that's sky rocketed. I know sleep, HRV, and RHR are part of the equation but whatever the GH is doing my strap is picking it up.

GH is no joke even 1IU and i get the same wave and i cant even stay awake if i tried lol, i sleep so damn hard on gh it is amazing for rest and recovery love the stuff for that purpose.

Ya it's a miracle worker. I should've been running this all along. I went on a hard mountain bike ride yesterday for an hour and a half. Felt pretty cooked last night but today I'm feeling brand new.

HGH is going to help a lot but don't go too hard on it, there are sides. @BeMe, start with 4 weeks ED use but switch to 5/2, 5 days o 2 off after 4 weeks to lower the potential sides.

Sides from just 2iu a day? I read this is just an ongoing low risk HRT dose.

Don't I just need to be on the lookout for adema and carpal tunnel?

You missed I did the Arnold curls you recommended and I LOVE them. I watched a few YouTube videos of Arnold talking about them and I was good to go.

I didn't think my wrist could handle the straight bar but I did a heavy set of 6 and I was fine.

The pump was "Fantastic" lol

My doc tore his long head and he said it actually made his bicep look way nicer lol. He tore it flipping a 750lb tire.

He healed it in 2 days with a laser and pulse something treatment, this was 12 years ago. He said even he didn't believe how fast he was able to use it again...so if I do tear it I know he's got me lol.

This is awesome. I was waiting to see this, because I felt it but didn’t track it like that. You probably would have had an even better first cycle with it in there, but this is cool because it’s more of an isolated trial.

bro you need to ease off on fapping. stick to 2x a day only. no more 4-5x a day that builds too much pumps and ruins wrists

Ya that was the plan. Do it in isolation so I could see if it works for me...and does it. If I had know the effects would be this dramatic I would've started over a month ago when I bought it lol. To think it's been sitting in my fridge all this time.

I think I'm kinda ADD. My mind never seems to slow down unless I'm really focused on a singular task I'm interested in. I've tried meditation but inevitably my mind wanders on to work I need to do it stuff I need to get done. My family is Buddhist on my Japanese side but none of it rubbed off on me. I'm a busy body, always doing something.

Second rest day in a row yesterday, no cardio this time. I figured I'd give my body 1 actual rest day in a week. I did get my 10k steps in just working around the house and walking the dogs. Pretty productive day.

3rd day GH and 3rd day of insanely high recovery numbers. I've never seen a recovery trend like this as long as I've been tracking. I did notice something new last night. The wife and I had a little fun right before bed. I thought the GH was gonna knock me out mid session, which woulda been awkward lol. Instead I was fine, but I didn't knock out right after like I have the other 2 nights. I'm thinking maybe getting my heart rate up turned off the sleepiness from the GH maybe? Maybe this means I'm a good candidate for morning GH if I do some fasted cardio. I'll keep tracking and logging to figure out more.

Your recovery is going well. I noticed you want to try HGH in AM, why don't we try a small dose? 1 IU pre cardio. REMEMBER, you can go hypoglycemic if you use too much pre cardio, so plan 1 IU slowly and see how it goes with cardio and how you handle it.

I definitely can't do AM GH right now cuz I barely get enough sleep as it is lol. I'm a PM for now.

You mentioned in @HarleyGuy log that some people can't do AM GH. I was just thinking maybe I'm a candidate if the time comes. For now I'm just going to keep it low dose in the PM for the improved recovery.

I'll keep that strategy in my pocket though if I want to push up the GH. 1iu in the morning would be a good test to try and see

I used to talk to this vegan bodybuilder from South Africa. He was fuggin huge and really cool. The first person I ever talked to that talked about doing grams of gear.

For me, I think that if I was taking that stuff that you bought, I might actually get really sick. Maybe right away. And back in the day I definitely would have had an immediate and powerful inflammation response. And I’m not the only one. There are people who double down going vegan and it’s almost killing them. And there are people who tolerate it and even do well.

It was a leap for me even to take whey protein, and I still feel like I’m selling myself out when I eat protein bars. But they are convenient af and palatability isn’t strictly a bad thing, especially for my hard gainer lifestyle.

I watched part of it with a gf who had ehler danlos and had been told to go vegan by her smokeshow cousin. She was doing juice fasts and stuff. Crazy people telling her that these deranged diets would cure her debilitating disease. Meanwhile it was causing her hair to fall out. We watched it because it had made such an impression on her and when I started digging in to their points in the movie she was disgusted with it and herself and it kinda ruined the whole mood. But she’s doing better now!🙂

I ate that whole 5pound brisket myself. And I’m making another tomorrow. The “doctor” that produced or whatever that movie is a truly unhinged man. It’s actually pretty disturbing. And I saw this same type of mentality in the “carnivore community”. There shouldn’t be a damn community or anything like that. It should just be available knowledge that if you have certain conditions you can just eat meat and it will help you, end of story. No coaches, no support groups, no influencers. No monetization. Disgusting

What’s crazy is, I grew up Unitarian Universalist, since I was a young teen. They are about as far left of a group as you are going to find, as far as I can tell. And I still feel that way about a lot of things. When people are sick and desperate and they become carnivore out of desperation, it’s a very different thing than a a retired school teacher who wants to lose weight. It was such a powerful thing for me that I really did go through a phase of “what else are they lying about?!” And I was drawn into social media and the internet because of trying to research eating only meat. I had never ever been “into fitness” or diets or anything like that. So it took me a minute to understand the toxicity of it all. Even though I had been a Luddite previously.

I had my gall bladder removed last year, afterwards ran into complications with my liver having trouble adjusting, in and out of hospital for months… everything great now strong and healthy again had 3 bloods done in last 4 months and everything in the green… I just have to eat clean from here on out, so wife cooks everything fresh for every meal, no leftovers, meats straight from butcher veggies all organic, olive oil and coconut oils is all she cooks with, absolutely no fast food, fried foods, sugary drinks, and sweats, my sweats now are fruits… it was difficult at first but I’ve gotten used to it now. 💪🏻

So I actually was talking to a guy who has a line of cbd products about supplements and things. He’s also a cattle rancher. He was telling me that when you make extracts of plants, you’re concentrating things that you want, but you’re also concentrating things you don’t necessarily want. Such as pesticides, herbicides and any toxins that may have been drawn up into the plant through the roots, like heavy metals. That’s a big problem with kratom. I had my gall bladder removed last year, afterwards ran into complications with my liver having trouble adjusting, in and out of hospital for months… everything great now strong and healthy again had 3 bloods done in last 4 months and everything in the green… I just have to eat clean from here on out, so wife cooks everything fresh for every meal, no leftovers, meats straight from butcher veggies all organic, olive oil and coconut oils is all she cooks with, absolutely no fast food, fried foods, sugary drinks, and sweats, my sweats now are fruits… it was difficult at first but I’ve gotten used to it now. 💪🏻
That's great news bro! The longer you eat like that the harder it will be to put bad stuff in your body again. I've been eating that way for about 5 or 6 years now and I feel like dog shit if I cheat even a little bit.
 
So I actually was talking to a guy who has a line of cbd products about supplements and things. He’s also a cattle rancher. He was telling me that when you make extracts of plants, you’re concentrating things that you want, but you’re also concentrating things you don’t necessarily want. Such as pesticides, herbicides and any toxins that may have been drawn up into the plant through the roots, like heavy metals. That’s a big problem with kratom. Lucky for me our provincial government is our weed and CBD dealers up here and they got some seriously strict standards. A lot of the growers complain about the standards cuz entire batches get denied if they find the tiniest bit of contaminants.

Really? Viet food is so healthy tho. You guys eat really well. When I visit my wife's family I can eat everything...but I don't wanna eat some of it lol. The really traditional stuff like tripe, or cold chicken...yuk. I usually choke some down to make my mother in law happy and my wife always laughs. My wife's parents love to watch me eat. Her dad is always throwing more meat on my plate lol. When we do the hot plate butter and steak and shrim they always love how much I can eat.

There's a cold mango salad with cold chicken, and celantro. Not sure what it's called but I hate it and my mother in law always makes it, so I always have to eat some lol. It makes her happy so I can suffer through it for her

Haha maybe. I think we all assume eachother is younger than they are, atleast for us older guys. I was shocked when I heard @stevesmi is pushing 50, so I know what you mean.

Are you younger than me? You have a really mature muscle physique. You look like a guy who's been training steady for 20+ years.

From what I read a lot of the UGL stuff is right in line with the pharma. Are you in the states? If so, lots of great options through the approved sources.

I'm running an Italian Pharma GH. I figured I'd run it for the first time just so I'd know for sure if I don't respond it's not the GH. I was lucky too because the site I use was running a sale on it and the pricing wasn't all that much more than the UGL stuff so it was a no brainer in my case.

I would go for the UGL stuff vs Serostim or something like that cuz those prices are crazy. Only rich guys like @toddthelineman can afford to run Serostim

Oh ya...that's more like when I visit my family lol. We bring our own veggies and extra chicken and my wife will meal prep for me there so I don't get forced into eating too far off diet.

It can be tough at first cuz everyone will laugh at you, call you weird or whatever, but eventually they just get used to it and it becomes the norm. They still pick on me now and again when I'm weighing out my food lol.

Ya Viet food is the best. Tastes amazing and it's really good for you. I'm blessed becase my wife is an amazing cook and she likes cooking.

Started my last week of tapering so it's officially my last week on cycle I guess, even though I'll be cruising into my next cycle. This week's dose is 250 test, 50 primo, 50 NPP.

I picked up some 29G insulin 1/2 insulin pins and I'm going to start doing my test eod. Been reading a lot of guys say it smooths out the test levels and they can run more test with fewer sides. I have a powerlifting buddy who's been doing this for a while now and he says it makes a big difference for him. He also said daily made no difference from eod so I'm willing to give it a go.

Aiming for 250 mg a week so I'm thinking of pinning 70mg eod?

Training was great yesterday. Just another arm day. I'm not sure what my recovery is today cuz I messed up my tracker yes when I forgot to end my workout. I slept like a baby again and I felt great at work today and I'm ready for training tonight. Safe to assume the GH is still keeping my recovery way up.

It’s 18iu per vial and 5? Vials? I forget lol. I still have most of it. I think I paid under $900, but I had to buy it and wait a while for the back order

Start 70mgs eod thats fine, this will be a good cycle down, happy to see it close out, we should do close out pics :D and lower protein to around 300 grams at this point, as you cycle down a bit.
Drop training volume by 1 set, and use that time for slow cardio.

I have started upping my cardio a bit as I've tapered down. Still gonna go hard mountain biking on the weekends tho lol. The weather is finally cooling down a bit to Canadian summer temps so it's perfect timing. Off cycle, on my bi cycle lol
