GNC is a franchised public corporation.. when you buy something there you aren't spending money on a supplement. you are spending money on franchise fees, their rent, their employees, their directors and overpaid officers, and their other overhead.
any product that was good is going to cost you way more... I never go to that place.
Yeah I use vitamin shoppe for creatine, glutamine, support supps and an occasional pre-workout. They have decent prices. I used pro source as well like 5 years ago and they have nice selection. It depends on what you're looking for, and where you are.
If you have a Vitamin Shoppe near by, go there, (just be sure to check Online 1st, and then ask the Store to match the Price, they will).
If you can wait a couple of days.
Prosource.net - Great Prices - carries All the Major Brands - also has their own Brand, which is All Pharmaceutical Grade...................... JP
I go in and fuck with them on their pricing sometimes.....ill offer half whatever X is listed for.
I only go to GNC when I'm completely out of something (say protein) and I can't get it anywhere else at the time. It's a last resort because it's so expensive.

I would rather give target some of my money than gnc. I wouldnt use them if they were the only place. I'd rather go without some thing than have to get raped buying it.
Damn, you must really hate GNC if you will go to Target. Here in Oklahoma we call Target "Fancy Wal Mart".
if you want protein why not go to the supermarket and buy real food that doesn't come in a tub?
the CEO made 2M in salary last year plus 16M in stock options http://finance.yahoo.com/q/pr?s=GNC+Profile
its a corporation, its not some haven for red blooded bodybuilders to shop at. its not like you walk into their corporate office and see a shredded up dude there, their CEO is 61 years old and probably never lifted a weight in his life

I think the Vitamin Shop has better products and is cheaper.

GNC is expensive but their whey protein seems too be the best tasting
Sort of the same scenario with Needto, he made a lot of money in the fitness world, and looked like he never stepped foot in a gym. LMAO. P.T. Barnum said, "there is a sucker born every minute."
Let me ask you this.
What do you think is giving that Protein its Taste.
Answer is it's Acesulfame Potassium and Sucralose.
Bad Sweeteners - Ace - Processed with a known Carcinogen (Methylene Chloride) 200 times sweeter than Sugar/Can lead to Hypoglycemia.
Sucralose is Processed with Chlorine and will Kill your Gut Flora/Shrinking of the Thymus Gland, an Immune System Regulator.
Also, the 1st Ingredient is Whey Concentrate, which is only 70 to 85% Protein, and has Lactose in it.
That's what's in your GNC Protein, your Killing yourself Drinking that Shit.
Also, they're Raping you to Purchase it.
Find a Whey Isolate, which is 90 to 94% Protein and has no Lactose in it, and is Sweetened with Stevia.
There's Plenty out there.
Try MuscleFeast.com for an Excellent Whey, either not Sweetened or only Sweetened with Stevia.
The Prices are Extremely Good, and they're from Ohio................................. JP
P.S.
They carry a lot of other Products, that are All Pharmaceutical Grade.
Everything is made in Small Batches, not by the Ton.
Thanks for letting me know that online pricing is cheaper at the VS.

Great info. I'll definitely pick up some whey from them when I need it.
On a side note, I saw that they sell lever belts for $60 cheaper than I bought mine for....
GNC is near my home and I have bought some products and even protein powder. I no-longer use their powder but sometimes use other GNC brand supplements. Whats the consensus?
Id rather put my money into more peptides I mean if u need preworkout or bcaa's just get em online

I'll stop in GNC on occasion if I need something right away. For example if I need to go on an unexpected trip out of town and I want to take my preworkout mix and protein with me, I'll pick up some individual C4 samples and a few individual MRP packets. I really try not to get on a plane with unmarked baggies of white powder in my luggage. Lol.
They're typically way overpriced, but we're not their target demographic. I'm reminded of that every time I go in and there's an employee half my size but overly eager to school me on what to take to "get big". If they got points for enthusiasm they'd do ok.
