How Keepable are test gains?

Hey guys,

So Im considering running at 12 week cycle with Test E and an AI. I already have the cycle pretty well laid out and my goals are to bulk around 30lbs, which I'm sure I could do with my diet. I had a quick general question though: In your guys' experience, how much of that hypothetical 30lbs could I keep after PCT? I guess my real question is how keepable are gains from a simple test cycle if I don't plan on going back on cycle for at least a year afterwards?

Thanks for the help

if you eat and train right for the new size keeping gains is very easy. You won't keep 100% but id say you can keep it close to 85-90% of it. Just got to be on the ball with how you treat yourself post cycle

I put on 20lbs but needed around 6000 - 7000 calories a day over most of the 12 weeks. Peanut butter made up about 3500 of my daily intake.

So keeping the gains is reasonable if you maintain the calorie input to match adding 30lbs of body weight. Eat less than your body needs and you lose weight...eat more you gain weight. How fast depends on how far you are from the calories needed to maintain.

30 lbs in 12weeks will not be lean tissue. I would expect to lose about half that to be honest. Depends how lean you really are. 15 lbs of lean mass on someone with low bodyfat will look like a huge about vs someone who is 20% bf

there is no such thing as gaining 30 pounds of muscle, much less keeping it all from a 12 week cycle. if it was then after 10 cycles a person would gain 300 pounds of muscle. has never happened, cannot happen, and will never happen.. you would die from that much weight gain if you use a myostatin blocker cause your heart would explode in the process.

this is a marathon and not a sprint. you just want overnight gains, which is normal human thinking.. I mean we all want to win the powerball and become overnight millionaires.. but it isn't realistic

Really much will depend on the ancillaries you will use, and on how comprehensive will the PCT be. As long as you use an AI from the first day of the cycle, and run the perfect PCT, you will get as much as it is theoretically possible. Of course, all of this given the fact that you eat properly and keep on training. However, there are a lot of individual genetic things to keep in mind, as well as situational. However, I doubt that in just 12 weeks you will be able to get and keep 30 pounds of pure muscle.

Haha I know that theres no way I could gain 30lbs of pure muscle, my bf is pretty low, I would guess around 10% and since I play contact sports I actually want to put on some fat. My goals is 30lbs, not 30 lbs of muscle

You may want to consider adding deca or something else to increase appetite. It will help you eat often and intake the calories you need to put on that much weight.

If you eat and train right, run a proper PCT and follow a good bridge after your PCT, you should keep 80% of the gains you made on cycle.

After your cycle run the perfect PCT protocol: http://www.evolutionary.org/the-perfect-post-cycle-therapy-pct/

A good bridge between cycles is the SARMS triple stack: http://www.evolutionary.org/the-SARMS-triple-stack-protocol

Follow these and you should be able to keep 10-15lbs lean muscle in my opinion. That is assuming diet and training are dialed in 100%.
