How to use a 23 gauge without pain?

Hello,
I have started taking test and I am using a 23 gauge to inject IM. The only problem I am having is that I am experience pain in the muscle the day of injection and the following day. It’s apparently normal but I was wondering if you guys knew of another method of injecting ensuring less pain.

I haven’t tried heating it up and I inject in the shoulder

Why such a big needle? I use 25g and even then, could go smaller.

Oh no, if you heat it up, you can use a much smaller needle, what length are you using?

1/2 mL 50 mg per injection

So I am using 1 inch, 25g, 1.2ml into my delts daily, rotating sides, minimal pip, I think you can go to a smaller needle, try heating up the oil with a hair dryer too and pin slowly, dont rush it in

Ive done up to 1 ml however i used a 27g. Slight pain afterwards however it goes away.

Yeah brother 26 gauge 1/2 inch or if you're worried 25g 5/8s. Heat up the gear but running the syringe under hot water and off you go.

Use he 23ga to draw and get 25-27ga to inject. 23ga you can use but only in glutes and I still would go smaller. If your hitting delts you can easily use a 27ga.
