V.I.P.
EVO Logger
Hello everyone, I just listened to the podcast yesterday for the first time and wanted to come join the forum to share my journey and mainly learn and get tips and ideas for you all. I will turn 47 years old in February. I am 5’9” tall. In February of 2024 I was weighing 366lbs. I am currently down to 263lbs. I am taking retatrutide at 6mg per week and Motts-C 4mg every 3 days. I have ran a couple different cycles mainly consisting of test. I just started a cycle of 225mg test E and 200mg of tren E every 3 days and anavar 50mg per day. Not my first experience with tren, I ran some tren in my younger years. I mainly added the tren to help me hold muscle as I try to cut more weight down. I’m no expert by any means and I know my diet needs work. My workout right now is day 1 chest, pec deck flys, incline dumbbell press, all 4 sets of 8-10 reps with failure targeted on the 8th rep. Incline and decline pushups 4 sets to failure. Day 2 back/shoulders Either assisted pull ups or lat pull downs, dumbell rows, seated rows, barbell military press, dumbell front raises and dumbell lat raises all 4 sets of 8-10. Day 3 triceps ez bar skull crushers, kickbacks, one arm pull downs, rope pull downs all 4 sets of 8-10 and one burnout set to finish on the pull downs. day 4 biceps ez bar curls, seated incline dumbbell curls, hammer curls, ez bar cable curls, spider curls all 4 sets 8-10 with a burnout set added to the end of the cable curls. Day 5 legs squats, leg extensions, straight leg deadlifts, leg curls. 4 sets of 8-10. My diet is basically chicken and rice, protein shakes and a few snacks and bad meals here and there. I know I really need to nail down my macros, that just seems a bit overwhelming to me but I have to get started. I’m going to try to include a picture from February and a current picture. I’m not confident enough yet for a shirtless picture but hopefully that is coming sooner rather than later. Any tips and feedback is appreciated and I look forward to learning a lot about fitness, diet, and gear here. I'm proud of the progress I have made but I'm not nearly where I wanna be! I wanna cut the rest of this fat and be physically fit! IMG_6873.webpIMG_6823.webp

welcome to the EVO family :D @jwright1275 which podcast did you listen to? I mean episode #
https://www.evolutionary.org/podcasts/
thank you for sharing, you look good in the pic, big size and we can work on it from here :D
To get this started right, lets start a training nutrition log with you before we talk any gear. 15min to start one.

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Please click the anabolic forum
https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/forums/anabolic-steroids-and-peds.2/
top RIGHT, you see: +POST THREAD
click that

in Title: write your cycle name, like> My _____ Cycle Log
___ = the name of your log
example: My Training Nutrition Log
in body: write your planned cycle or cycle you doing now, your diet, training and we will help you along on your cycle

Hey thanks for the reply. I listened to episode #217 on recomp. I would definitely be interested in logging, I can really see where that would benefit me. It seems a little overwhelming to try to keep up with, especially my diet but I really need that. I will look through some of those examples and try to get one started tomorrow at the office.

Nice job, man. Keep it going. How do you like the Motts-C? I've never used it before but I've heard some really good things about it.

Would love to see the type of diet that you have changed to and what you were eating before. Diet is 90% of everything so that will be crucial to see what you're doing there. @jwright1275

You definitely are in the right place, man. Right now you need to dial in your diet. Of course it's already looking better but you could still improve on it. Have you also looked into doing some different fasting protocols? And then of course fasted cardio every morning is crucial.

Bros, make sure you get a log up as soon as possible. Lay out everything and then we can help tweak things for you. Tell us more about how you managed to lose all that weight in the first place. That's a good accomplishment. You were almost 400 pounds. You were definitely a big boy.

solid words mate. dropping from 366 to 263 is no joke, that’s real work. macros can feel overwhelming at first but if he just tracks cals + protein for a week and keeps steps/cardio consistent, it gets way easier quick
