Is HGH worth it

liftflinn

Growing Brother
Hi all,

So I don't think I've posted stats recently, so here goes

186 cm / 91kg / 12%BF

or for the American folk

6'1" / 200lb / 12%BF

I'm tossing up doing a HGH cycle. My source can get Hyges for around $2.80/iu; looking at getting 500iu-600iu and doing 6 months 5 on/2 off 4iu/day. Or 7 days a week 4iu/day, I'm not too read up on HGH and don't fully understand the cost/benefit ratio of 5/2 vs staying on.

With all the bullshit HGH that is floating around, is it worth me risking $1500ish for a 6month cycle? Or should I just save that money and tip it into food and AAS/slin? (7 AAS cycles, 2 slin 4 week cycles under my belt, humalog pre-workout, good gains, cheap as anything.)

I guess what I really want to know, what results can you expect, and are the results worth it? Or is HGH more something you use where you want to eat more and stay leaner for a contest-type situation?

How old are you bro,I ran gh for 8 weeks good gh! @4iu ed but along side with aas this is what I think!!!

1.helps u sleep
2. Recovery is a tad bit faster
3.all the muscle u gain witch won't be much unless u run it for years,is yours to keep
4.burns fat at higher rate
That's about on its own that's my experience on it

You will probably hear arguments on both sides for or against it, but personally I don't think the cost versus benefit is worth it. I would much rather put my money into building a better cycle that will give better results. Just my two cents

I put HGH, in the same Category as Insulin.
Do you plan on going Pro, then Yes, HGH has it's place, if Not, I really don't think so.
There's a Whole Lot of other Ways to Spend your Money to get those Gains............................... JP

I agree

the only way it is cost effective is if you use slin with it.

Otherwise is a luxury for guys like us.

Now if your 41, cycle here and there or are on TRT and wana a lil extra help......2iu a day would be great. better sleep, recovery, skin, etc, etc. will keep you younger longer.

If your looking to put on 10lbs, opt for tes/tren/deca/EQ/mast/var/etc/etc/etc......you will gain that 10lb way way faster and for 90% less money.

Work sux today I'm swamped lol! I think if you got the dough to drop on some HGH go ahead like getbig stated the gains will stay and it will help you recover faster. As for my opinion I would run peptides like ghrp2 and CJCw/out DAC. You could also get hgh frag and dose frequently and a little higher than saturation. If you talk to most companies that offer HRT they will set you up initially with HGH but then ask you to switch to Sermorelin which does help but what you should now is that using something like ghrp (Ipamorelin or Hexarelin) and CJC w/out DAC will give you great recovery and some light gain. Rick Rock has a wonderful point also about just making a regular cycle look more bad ass by spending more on the cycle and not on HGH. If I could afford it I would probably have some Kefei sitting in my fridge right now too.

What about this? I have heard time and time again that HGH is the fountaing of youth. Its not ALL about building muscle. Yes, that is a direct result but it also aids in a faster more efficient metabolism, better hair, better skin, all the way round younger more youthfull state of mind. Its the one hormone that EVERYONE wants to be on at anti ageing clinics. They dont care about Test, or Insulin (thats not even perscribed) or IGF. ALL THE GURUS WANT HGH. NOT ONLY THAT. but running HGH is MUCH SAFER. You can run HGH INDEFINITELY and continue to reap the rewards. Why do you think we cycle steroids? BECAUSE THEY WILL KILL YOU EVENTUALLY. However with HGH, you MIGHT just live longer. THINK ABOUT IT. Why do you think it cost so much?

Just Incase you Missed it, these are some of the Side Effects of Long Term HGH Use.
Edema - retention of Fluids
Arthralgia - Joint Pain
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Hypertension
Diabetes and other Glucose Metabolism Imbalances
Gynecomastia - Enlargement of Male Mammary Glands.......................... JP

P.S.
All the above are the Most Common, and were Reported in Otherwise Healthy Patients.

im on the fence with HGH... Cost to benefit ratio... I guess the only way to find out is to run it for a few months and see

if you are under 40 you already have plenty of GH in your body .. once you get over 40 or 45 then the ball game changes. it would be like giving testosterone replacement therapy to a 20 year old so he can get the benefits of testosterone, at that age you are peaking as it is so all of those benefits are already there

a great way to increase GH is making time for sleep (a lot of guys fail to do this), and doing squats, deadlifts and other compound lifts. diet is important too of course.

the main issue which I cannot stress enough though is the amount of fake GH out there being sold that is really hcg powder instead. since GH can take a while to be noticed sources know they can get away with it cause guys will keep taking fake stuff for months

Isn't there the risk, too, that if you have any "bad" cells in your body, like cancer, long term HGH use could potentially accelerate that growth too? I don't think it discriminates as to what type of cells it helps grow.

But...I'm not 100% sure. Just what crossed my mind reading this thread.

I have actually done research on this and this is exactly why I have never tried it. Even if you are not predisposed to cancer you still have cancer cells in your body and it has been proven that HGH does and will accelerate this.

no its true. GH splits and grows cells, including cancer cells :(

im 31 and did a cycle of hgh, i did it for 6 months only 2 iu a day and I felt a big help in sleeping quality. I dont know if it is in my mind but I feel like my body is improved for good, my joints, tendons, etc. I had a really amazing cost for a kit so I went for it, but I would not spend top dollar on it, maybe when i hit 40 but not right now

ITS ALL ABOUT PROPER DOSING. DOSING IS EVERYTHING!!!! Not taking HGH because your fearfull of cancer is not worh concidering... IF you have low HGH levels. Meaning, the benifits FAR OUTWEIGH the drawbacks. Like I said, its the abuse of the hormone that gets you. Just like steroids. In men, low T leverls are HORRIBLE for you. BUT, running constant high T is bad too!!! Its all about proper dosing.

Your Correct in that it can Accelerate Cancer Cells.
Also, one more thing that I didn't put in there.

There's a Whole Lot of 1st Hand Accounts of "Enlarged Prostates" occurring with Prolonged Use.................... JP
P.S.
So if your in the Over 40 Crew, it's something to be Very Concerned about.

It's an interesting discussion. I'm 42 and have often thought if I had a money tree in my backyard, I'd try a full 6 month cycle just to see. More for the anti aging benefits. I did about 45 days a few years back but my source dried up and I just didn't bother continuing. It wasn't long enough. The cancer stuff scares the hell out of me.

I think the cancer thing might be a little overplayed. People are often quick to blame anything they are using when there is no telling what problem may have already existed before hand. For sleep, fat loss and recovery I would absolutely love to run some just for those purposes alone. It's a shame that there are so many obstacles surrounding GH because if not I would even be happy with 2-4iu a day.

Dennis Newman, ended up with leukemia, he attributes it to growth. He said his doctor told him that he had a leukemia gene that was dormant and the growth triggered it off. Anyway, I tried it by itself and with slin, and would have to say it is utterly worthless without slin...

government could tax the shit out of it, to get the U.S. out of debt legalize weed and gear and tax it, all finance problems would go away lol
