By way of example simple wear and tear has worn away on my shoulder joints. However, some years back, I also used to get issues there by virtue of bad form on overhead pressing. I'd got into the habit of allowing my dominant right arm to push ahead of the left. It got to the point of stupidity. So, rather obviously, that eventually led to aches and pains. I ended up backing right off from 120-kilos / 264lbs for reps, to 100-kilos / 220lbs and corrected the form. It took a few weeks but it got done. For the shoulders doing rotator cuff work is also useful.
Have a look at your form and see if rehab work will help before looking at joint health. I DO, it has to be said, use joint products for my long term joint health
