ok i have been trying to get opinions on how much (what %) of muscle do you retain when you come off cycle?

How much (%) did you retain on your cycle? It's worth pointing out that we don't always gain pure muscle on some cycles. Adding 10lbs of WEIGHT is NOT the same as adding 10lbs of hard muscle. Back when I cycled to gain I'd say I kept about 60-percent

Not keeping the majority of the gains you made on your steroid cycle is usually the result of:
1. Not running a proper PCT after your steroid cycle.
2. Not training and eating with the same intensity after the cycle as you did on cycle.

What put the muscle on the first place is what will keep it there after your PCT - HARD training and a high protein diet.

A proper PCT ensures your natural testosterone production fully recovers and that you keep the majority of the gains you made on your steroid cycle. I recommend everyone follow the perfect PCT after each steroid cycle -> https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/anabolic-steroids-peds/perfect-pct-simplified!-49252.html

The perfect PCT is arguably the best PCT protocol you can run. It is comprised of the SERMS clomid and nolvadex, the AI aromasin, HCGenerate ES (a good natural testosterone booster), N2guard (a liver/organ detox supplement) and the SARMS ostarine and cardarine.

Have you reached your natural genetic potential yet?

I have read that if you are someone who has (for example) only put on 5 pounds of muscle before starting AAS and then go on a cycle, and put on (say 10 pounds of solid muscle- not including water retention) that because your body, at normal Test Levels can support this level of muscularity, you will (if smart) keep most of those gains (because you have not reached anywhere close to the natural limit of muscle your particular body can handle).

Of course if you've only put on 5 pounds of muscle before going on gear you aren't doing everything correctly and probably shouldn't be using AAS in the first place! I have read you will fuck up your ligaments because your strength will grown faster than your bodies ability to adapt to the pressure

I think it depends on your PCT.

Yes, along with your diet and training. A lot of guys give into the temptation to cheat with respect to their diets and to train with less intensity just because they no longer feel the euphoria of being on cycle. Consistency both on and off cycle is, of course, key.
