Same, i kept angling the ab bench steeper and steeper by stacking plates under it. Then i tried the crunch machine and it didnt put as much load on my back..

Perhaps ill look into ginger. Ill get some bananas to try for when i get reflux.

Yeah, it's been shipped, but i went through a grey vendor instead. So ill be getting testing done myself. I can imagine the scolding ill get on here. I found a lab in alberta thatll handle private samples.

Id go janoshik, but staying domestic for testing is just cheaper.

Not really i suppose, though its a good motivator.

I put my supp list in chatgpt, and i cut out most things it said to for now.
It said cut the enzymes, and reintroduce in am when symptoms lessen, to see how much effect they had.
Sounds like you're on the ball bro good stuff!

No scolding at all, that's your choice. If you do get it tested let us know how that goes.

I made sure to verify their latest janoshik tests aswell before purchase.
All good bro. As a Mod I'll always refer to Nordic Fusion or Pur Pharma but it's your body and your money bro and you did your due diligence.

When testing is done ill post the coa, and info on who i went through domestically.
Great work. We can turn it into your first Canadian community thread for domestic testing. I know of one place that will accept external samples so we can share info and you can post all of it in one thread for Canadians. I Replied to your DM too. @LevButlerov @BeMe

thats really a bad idea to listen to chatgpt for advice, thats how guys end up in hospital @Shakey

Yeah it was just to find out whats possibly aggravating my symptoms. With the dial back today id say about a 50% reduction in heartburn.
we can do that but most of your supps not the issue list them please again

ai chatgpt worst advice! @Shakey

I read online apple cider vinegar makes it worse? Havent really tried anything til i bought pepcid and tums today.

Ive honestly just left it and never bothered with it. I tend to put off going to doctors. Lol

My biggest issue is empty stomache, thats when reflux hits, that and if i bend over to fast.

Maybe ill try the soda thing. Did you do it during reflux or preventative? And what is "the mother" mean? Lol
You gotta get the type of apple cider vinegar that says with the mother on the label.

I drink baking soda with my shakes everyday and I'm pretty sure it helps. Some people drink it in response to a flare up.

I drink the ACV only when I get some acid reflux and it works to fix the problem almost everytime.

Ill pull fish oil back to 4 split am/pm. Im going to leave the other adjustments as is for a couple days just to see.

Gotta keep the nac and thistle, my anticonvulsants are pretty harsh on the liver, was the main reason for em.

Yea i know, im not taking serious advice from it, just wanted some ideas on possible aggravators.

Of these foods I'd watch out for the mac and cheese, tomato sauce, and Italian meatballs. Those 3 things could set my stomach off for sure.

Oh the mac & cheese was a shredded cheese blend. I put a serving on my eggs for a breakfast sandwhich.

Will do on the sauce, i unfortunately have like 6 cans, so ill be swapping them in with my pastas every once in a while. Ill most likely be spreading my pastas out as they arent whole wheat. Ill get whole wheat once the stock is gone.

I generally avoid meatballs because of the higher fat ratio, though im having turkey meatballs tonight. Out of town at the fams and away from my meal preps, so Im at the mercy of what they have to eat. Lol. I do have a scale atleast tho.

I screwed my carbs today after not reading the white label for the pancakes.

That must be one hell of a driveway you have that's some serious shoveling you got done there bro!

In our DM's with all the peptide talk maybe we can get something else on board for liver health via peptide therapy (Glutathione?). Along with N2Guard we can definitely look at supporting your liver with your meds you have on board.

2g Green Tea Extract - cut
250mg Caffeine -cut
You can cut this out indefinitely imo unless you're a coffee drinker and it's hard. I drink it cold and black and it's my morning swig of cold brew routine but nothing preworkout or anything.
1g Vitamin C
You can up this if you want
5g Creatine
You can double this too if you want

I have no doubt LOL, very acidic.

Its all hipped roof broski. Half my energy is spent just not falling off. Did pretty good, only pinched my back lightly and knee just started aching so pinned an extra BPC dose.

I just briefly checked N2Guard ingredients. Its super off the table. It has piperine. Black pepper at food levels are fine, but extract isnt. Awhile back i went through diff gear and supps looking for Rx interactions i need to avoid, and piperine is risky.

With my med combo theres risks to elevated blood levels and absorbtion rates. Although a low of dose of 5 to 10mg of piperine is low risk, at 15mg id have to be cautious because i did have a slight rash when titrating. At 20mg id probably be monitoring side effects.

So id rather stay away for good measure.

Honestly hate coffee. Lol only used caffeine in pre or daily doses on a cut.

Good idea on that. Never thought of peptide liver support. Ill have a look into that.

Ill give it a few more days, and double the vit c when i reintroduce the enzymes. I was running 10g creatine on bulk, i got a kg so i can do that.

Extra update

Ran an extra 400mcg BPC locally before bed as the right knee os starying to ache.
Smart move. I can show you where to inject into the knee if you didn't. There's a good website too to show where to inject gear anywhere and it could apply to peptides for injuries in those areas too: trtinjections.com

I just thigh, about 4" up from knee. Ill check out the website for sure. Yea if you can show me where on knee aswell thatd be great.

Will do

Where exactly is your injury? I did it in the wrist to show @Pat7x anywhere is doable you can check it out here: https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/threads/bulking-cycle-journal.106490/page-5#post-1918353

Explain right where your injury is and I'll pin myself where I think you should put it.
Its not an injury technically, its patellofemoral pain syndrome in both knees, though the right one is the bad one and left isnt very noticeable.

Though i did hurt the tendon on the immediate left side of my right knee cap earlier this year, thats for the most part healed by itself. I probably shouldve seen a doc for that one.

PFPS of the right knee is where most the pain come from, enough to make me limp. Theres nothing on imaging so just generalized knee area.

Ill check that link out when im off the roof.

Ok once I’m home I’ll the subQ on my left knee and have HarleyGirl take a pic. I’m assuming it’s near the knee cap? Or is it inside more like the cruciate ligament?

Its under knee cap and patellar tendon area along with the left side inside the joint
Ok so pinch fat on side of knee and pin and plunge. Or don’t pinch and jam it in if you can hack it lol

Lol ill prob pinch , see how she goes.
We will see, might just jam it in. Lol
As close as possible to where it hurts. Especially if it's straight BPC. That's the one that's arguably for site injection the others can be systemic.

Those pancake mixes can be a bit tricky but it's not too bad. Looks like you needed those carbs anyway lol

Yea, its in severn outside of orillia but its just been hammered so bad here. The depth is an avg of 2.75' on roof with the deepest spot where the hipped roofs connect was 4' deep.

Its like 12" very hard packed on bottom, 1/2" ice, then avg settled snow the rest of the way up. Without taking into account the incline, its probably around 3000sq ft or so with the attached 3 car garage roof. But i have to shovel the lighter stuff, then hack at the ice covered hard packed snow.

All without tweaking my back and loosing my footing. Lol

I logged a new snow shoveling exercise in MFP to account for roof shoveling, snow layers, avg depth etc etc, for a better estimate as MFP on has flat ground shoveling. Apparently i was burning 900cal hourly. Lol

Small update for yesterday: Recalculated "Snow Shoveling" cardio and logged custom exercise to account for extra cal burn from roof shoveling and snow variables. Ai estimated 900cal hourly burn according to the detailed variables inputted. This is the recalc.

Update For Today
Back and knee are in pretty good shape. Honestly felt like i had a pump in my back after shoveling today. No disc tweaks today either. Those heavy back ext must be paying off as ive started using a 50lb barbell.

Also staying out of town an extra days. So ive ran out of prepped milk thistle, psyllium husk, creatine. Aswell as ill have no extra BPC pin for tonight because i only got 1 left for tomorrow in the travel case. Pin will also be delayed on friday, but thats fine.

Pretty low on protein today. Ive got another 2 scoops prepped, but thats for tomorrow incase its also a low day. Cant wait to get back home to prepped meals.

I would believe it. Shoveling a driveway is hard enough. Shoveling a pitched roof is a whole different beast with dire consequences. A lot of guys get messed up doing that.

Atleast you're not one of those dummies in the videos that stands on the ground with a stick whacking at it and then just gets completely buried LOL!!! Love those videos

Deff have to thank cardio and the lower back work ive put in lately. A small tweak on first day and my knees burn a bit, but im not limping.

Was basically a full body workout 3 days in a row. Totalled 13hrs between 3 days.

It's a good thing you did it cuz with this weird warm spell we're getting it may have all slid off in one sheet and trapped your parents in their house.

Deff, their main prob tho was wicked ice damming, i used calcium chloride flakes to melt most of it, then broke up the remaining. Glad i did it before the rain made it even heavier.

Yea I banged up my wrist yesterday chipping ice up with my shovel. Shoulda hit it with the bar first but I was too lazy and just used a shovel for everything lol

My spud sits at the front door all winter waiting for action . Lol

Btw, hope your feeling better.

Update:
Finally get to lift again tomoro. Though i didnt "pinch a nerve" doing roof, back was strained so i gave it an easy day. Cable machine in the garage here, run a full cable push workout in the am.

Diet still a mess, though controlled for the most part. Had excess sugar a few days in a row, so cut that back down. Carb and pro were pretty low today.

Re-introduced digestive enzymes am/pm and increased creatine to 10g split dosed.

Time to get back to the gym! I'm jealous. I'm on time out right now...sux

I noticed the bread you got there. Not the best, even though they make it seem like a healthy option. Next time you're at the grocery store grab some sour dough instead. Tastes better and much better for digestion.

Or if you wanna go all in and your store has it, Ezekiel bread it the best option. Its comes frozen too so you can just defrost and eat it as you need it vs the bread going stale before you finish a pack.

Or if you wanna go all in and your store has it, Ezekiel bread it the best option. Its comes frozen too so you can just defrost and eat it as you need it vs the bread going stale before you finish a pack.
Yeah bet you are lol. Youll be back soon enough. I hit the mystery cable machine in the garage early this morning, was -4° lol. All the weights have no markers on em, so weights are all unknown. Just hit failure every set.

Im still out at the fams in the boonies. The selection here for food is limited and its a "this is what we're having" kinda thing. Lol

Ill be back in town monday, so thats when the diet will be more organized. Ill be back to meal preps then.

Migut helped if next time you bring some food with you. That's what I do when I go to visit my parents. That way I only get stuck eating what I'm fed once a day lol

Do you own a fish scale? If you hook it to the handle and pull a single plate you should be able to figure out the weight of each plate on the stack

Boy the weights just melting.off you. Amazing how much you've accomplished in 2 months. All the shoveling is doing you well

Maybe 18%, i was skinny fat, lean mass was prob only 145 to 150 when i started at gym again.

Ive been meaning to take the time to measure with my bf caliper. My "new" scale says im 13% lmao
Yea those impedance BF measurements are crazy inaccurate. The measurements can swing so much based on so many factors.

You gotta be building lean mass while you're burning off that fat. I think you'll surprise yourself next time you check your BF.

I hope so, i can tell ive lost more than i think on my abdomen and thighs. Belt notches too.

Yea damn renpho scale lol, said i gained 1.7% bf in 24hrs lol

bros, dude came to my gym and tested people for body fat and he was way off. It was a joke. Most of us were laughing the whole time. @Shakey

Test the leanest guy, and say hes 35% lol
a lot of times the way they test people is never accurate. @Shakey always best to just post some good pictures of yourself. Some pictures from the front side, etc. Most of the time men store excess fat around the stomach.

Yeah most of mine was midsection. Ill do some soon. Maybe get a stand for my phone, so its not awkward and i can get a better look.

Keep up the good work on this. The weights are definitely moving in the right direction in terms of how much you weigh. Now, we just got to get you more conditioned, and you'll look amazing. @Shakey

@Shakey awesome work losing all that weight bro!

Got some Glow on the way to help out. Ill be able to raise the dose higher as well.

Do you prefer heavy dropsets where your first set is in the 4-7 rep range or more of an 8-12 rep range before you start dropping?
i just started KLOW and this stuff works great. i bruised up my foot really bad it was swollen. and i pinned 2mgs in my foot 3x the past week and my foot feels amazing now.

i do drop sets towards the end of my workouts

Talkin bout accurate, my scale said i was 13% at christmas. Deff way off.

I was looking to see what the price of DEXA's are going for in toronto. For down the line, get an accurate %. I saw from $80 to $300. And the lower end might need an Rx still.
Yeah bros, those scales are not going to be accurate. We're all obese according to them.
