Hey guys, starting a log in hopes to get some real guidance and help. I have been struggling with low T symptoms for a few years now. I tried Peter MD and it didn’t workout based on side effects within the first few weeks, which may or may not have been in my head (can explain). But I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs. Libido is way down, never feel rested, always moody, no motivation in the gym(half ass workouts). Just not feeling like myself for a good while now. I ordered and have some Para Pharma Test P in hopes to start a low dose and slowly go up, and if it does not agree with my system it will get out quicker than say C or E if I need to stop. I do not mind daily or EoD injections, I just don’t know what dose to start with. How often should I get blood work after first injection? How quickly can hematocrit rise, and will spring help with that? Should I try a different TRT clinic?? Any suggestions?
In my 20s I was in damn good shape and could workout 2 times a day and usually did. I had a crazy 6 pack and could eat anything and wouldn’t gain a pound lol. Not the case now in my mid 30s

My states are:
37yo 6’1” 200lbs
Total T: Between 300-380 depending on time of day I give sample. Used to be 750 when I was 24.
Stubborn belly fat around mid section but not a big gut, hard mass gainer, lose it easy if I stop working out.

I’ve never really had a diet “plan” per-say, I just don’t eat processed food or garbage. I eat a lot of fish, chicken, good carbs, and love veggies. My wife has Celiac really bad so we stay away from gluten. I have bulked before by eating everything and anything. I could use some help with having an easy diet to stick to. My job is time demanding and it does not leave me much time to cook when I get home but I’m willing to meal prep if someone is willing to give me a good plan.

Supplements: Fish oil, multi vitamin, Bcomplex
Whey protein shakes 3/day to make sure to have 200g protein. Not enough water.

Sleep: 5-6 hrs, could use more but I wake up in middle of night some nights with hot flashes. Never feel rested, never have a deep sleep.

Workouts
M: Back and Bi= Curls, shrugs, barbell row, pull ups, revers flys (5 sets 10 reps each), Abs
T: Chest and Tri= Push ups 25 reps 10 sets, Bench 5 sets 10 reps, skull krushers 5x10, flys 5x10, dips at the end to failure 3-4 sets
W: Legs= body weight jump squats. Dumbbell Lunges, Hip Thrusts 20x10 sets. Calf raises to failure, Abs
Thu: Burpees 10 sets of 15 for now. Full run to end of my street about 100 yards, 15 sec break, full run back, repeat 3 times. Abs
Fri: Deadlifts and Shoulders: Front raises 5x10, Lat raises 5x10, Arnolds 5x10, seated dumbbell press, 5x10…..
Sat and sun off

Now let me be honest, this workout is half assed when I’m doing it, I have to really force myself and lately I’ve been not even able to make it all the way through. I go super hard for like 20- 25 min and then I feel like I can’t even keep my eyes open and I shower and go lay down after a shake. I’ve been skipping days too.

I love my job, make good money, I want for nothing. Have a great family and my wife is super attractive and I adore her, she adores me and all is well in that category except my sex drive is fucked, I can get hard and keep it but the DRIVE is definitely lacking….Sure I wish I had millions and didn’t need to work but who doesn’t, lol I love my life, and I love living life. I just don’t feel myself and am ALWAYS exhausted and have no drive, I even find myself being emotional with sappy ass movies N shit, which is NOT me lol…… Please tweak my diet, my exercise routines, and anything else. I am posting the last blood test I had about 10 months ago, my symptoms are the same then as they are now, even a little worse now but not much. I do have venous insufficiency which is hereditary on my mother’s side but the compression socks work good,I was also born with Poland Syndrome, however only missing right pectoral, my right arm functions fully and is a tad smaller than my left. Surprisingly It doesn’t really effect me except on Chest workouts. Ok there it all is open and honest….. any questions just ask. Any help anyone provides I will REALLY appreciate it,

lol, not too thrilled about the pics tbh. But I am definitely willing to get more recent blood work, although I suspect it will be in the same ranges considering symptoms Havnt gotten any better or even mush worse for that matter…..However, I did get my total T tested last week before ordering the Prop, it was literally 370 at 8am. What all do you need for labs, everything I have in these labs, or a more specific set? Thanks for taking the time to respond and help man. I don’t take that lightly, thank you.

Thanks bro! I was wondering if that’s what it was, but man it sure didn’t feel like no regular anxiety I’ve ever had lol…. I’m hoping I can get dialed in this time.

Yeah, I mean you were doing kind of a big thing. And the hormones certainly can amplify your emotions.

I *think * it’s possible that your e2 went up with the test e, it would do that. But I didn’t see what your e2 started at.

I’m not sure if test prop would aromatize more readily or not. It should be fine to use what you have. It’s very common for test prop injection sites to have some pain. 20 mg/day would be the same dose you were prescribed.

Maybe the move would be 20mg/day for 2 weeks and then get bloods so you can check e2 in particular. Then you can decide if you need an AI. Or you can lower the dose even. My last bloodwork my total t was 900ish while taking 135mg/wk

I’m definitely willing to try that. May I ask how you feel and what you felt before TRT? Also, how do you convert test C dose to test p? And I never got an E2 test or anything else other than what you can see…… what blood tests should I get to properly monitor myself and how often. And is morning or night the best time to do Test P injections?

First question did you test your LH and FSH before and how many times?

Please share more day to day information with us.

Diet, Training, Cardio
Diet, please share foods and meals and when you eat them, macros would be good
Training, please share actual exercises reps sets and weights, as you go especially get stronger
cardio how much do you do? when etc

dude you look great. not sure what your issue is here, can be a lot of things going on. if you want to self TRT then do it but keep the dosing mild. as far as hematocrit donate blood every chance they let you @Makinbones88

Honestly man. I fucked up. I didn’t need trt, I had a pretty serious injury and some stomach issues that were definitely holding me back for years. I was carnivore for four years and I honestly didn’t think I could stop because my stomach and arthritis were so bad and it was one of the only things that helped. That and eating kratom. Between the diet for such a long time and the kratom (opioid agonists lower testosterone and low carb diets raise shbg) I was losing muscle and not quite the beast I was in my twenties, but really I was just being greedy. I was doing great for a forty year old. I didn’t get a proper blood test before. I got some hcg and some npp and my body soaked it right up. I liked it. I got testosterone, I experimented lightly with damn near any PED I could get my hands on that I was able to do basic research on. All the different anabolics besides tren and eq. Lots of hgh. Lots of peptides. Spent lots of money. It’s been five years now, and I’m in no position to put myself through a pct.

Aside from the hassle of being kind of (totally) dependent on exogenous hormones, it has been really positive. I look good, I feel good. I’m strong, I stay pretty motivated.

It’s not been without issues. I definitely was dosing way too high totally unnecessarily for years, and had high hematocrit and high estrogen and high liver enzymes FOR YEARS. These fine folks have helped me a lot. I thought I had things figured out from the podcasts and YouTubers. Well. I think I’ve found better info here. I know I have. Because I get recommendations in my log, I follow them, and it actually works. Guys on YouTube tell you E2 of 90 is just fine if you’re nipples don’t itch. Well that’s a damn lie, for example. I might have went on like that for who knows how long.

Your doses of test will be the same regardless of the ester, however your test prop is likely 100mg/ml instead of 200mg/ml test cyp. Off that’s the case you’ll double the size of the injection if that makes sense?

I would pin in the morning personally because pinning is kind of exciting when you’re newer to it and you don’t want that before bed.

blood tests… lots of different ways to go about it. You’ll need to do more frequent at first until you’re dialed in. Then, when you know you’re at where you want to be, maaaaybe around 700 total test? up to you. maybe 1000. High enough to feel good, but low enough that You aren’t causing health problems. Which would be hematocrit, also/ast, egfr, E2. But there’s so much more, this is basic basic stuff. Thyroid stuff is importance but tricky to interpret and hotly argued about how.

You can research all over this forum you’ll find some really good stuff

I was carnivore for four years and I honestly didn’t think I could stop because my stomach and arthritis were so bad and it was one of the only things that helped. That and eating kratom. Lots of peptides. Spent lots of money. It’s been five years now, and I’m in no position to put myself through a pct.

Well, if I’m being honest. I had an addiction issue to opiates myself when I was in my early 20s for a few years, I think that didn’t help my body. But I was convinced that something really bad was going the past few years until my dr started doing tests and kept being like “nah bruh you’re good”…. LOL, Well why don’t I feel good then, I would always ask him…… I think you are right and sleep is a good portion of it. But I’m willing to experiment with TRT and see if it helps, I think that it could be good for me if I use it the right way like you say and try to be as healthy as I can on it. I’m not looking for anything but to be healthy and feel good all around. So you think weekly blood tests to monitor liver and kidney and estro? Or should I do monthly? Those full metabolic panels ain’t cheap at labcorp, but screw it if it’s what I need to do I’ll do it. So 1ml is 10mg then? Should I have an AI on hand before I start? I read a lot of people have better experience on prop with TRT because it doesn’t spike the estrogen as much….. do you think there’s any truth to that?

Thanks man for your encouragement and help. Well I’m not sure if I’ve had those tests but I’m down to get them. I did see a fertility dr and they did a bunch of tests and even took a sperm sample and said I have some potent swimmers lol. Other than that I don’t remember

Weekly would be more frequent than I’ve ever seen done, and possibly too soon for things to level out enough for the results to be meaningful. The soonest I would go is two weeks for the first one. Maybe a month if you feel good. Then if everything looks good and you are happy with how you feel I’d do quarterly. That seems very safe to me.

In my mind, say to inject a fast ester, it’s metabolized quickly and your test level rise to a peak in like 24 hours. So there are a certain number of these molecules floating around in your body, and sums of them bump into aromatase molecules. If you have more test molecules floating around, more of them will bump into aromatase molecules. And by that logic the faster the ester, the more molecules are released in a given time for this to occur.

Now, that’s just my theory, and I’ve come up with this on my own, thinking about it just like mixing fiberglass resin and epoxy resin. A little more catalyst, faster reaction, etc.

If someone actually does a controlled experiment and they find that they aromatize less with test prop, then that’s just how it is and they are right and I’m wrong hahaha. But this is how I think🙂

I have para pharma test p 10/100ml from freak. I only thought I’d start with the prop incase I have those sides again, and then I will probably switch to Test E once I’m feeling ok. I just thought test prop levels I could manipulate quicker if I need to. So .2ml EOD with first blood tests after 2 weeks, and then every 4 months. And work on my sleep and drink a shit ton more water.

Right now I’m not taking any supplements besides whey protein, fish oil, and multivitamin. But I’d really like some solid suggestions on this.

I listed my workout routine in the log, and I don’t really have a set diet either because I don’t know how to do all that. I just easy healthy foods and eat alot when I train and am trying to bulk. I cut carbs down when I want to shred, and I eat a lot of veggies and lean meats/fish. I’d love some help with this too lol.

Sleep I will be working on, along with trying to drink more water.

Those tests you asked about I do not know if I had them done, I will Check. I did see a fertility specialists who said my sperm is very fertile.

.2 EOD will get you 70mg /week. That would be very conservative. I don’t hate it. You would probably want more, but just in case your last try wasn’t just in your head, this is a good start

dude you look great. not sure what your issue is here, can be a lot of things going on. if you want to self TRT then do it but keep the dosing mild. as far as hematocrit donate blood every chance they let you @Makinbones88

Does AUS run prop there, or also Cyp/E? I heard good things about sust too. Thanks for your help brother.
From my research, most clinics prescribe Test E. Some will do compounded Cyp but its rare. Havent seen ANY that offer prop.
My clinic put me on 100mg/wk and have kept me there following my first consulation. Another clinic i signed up to, but didnt proceed with was going to start me on 120mg/wk.

It’s not bs. But it’s up to your cardiologist do decide if that is the right choice. Cialis is also an option
 
Hey guys, starting a log in hopes to get some real guidance and help. I have been struggling with low T symptoms for a few years now. I tried Peter MD and it didn’t workout based on side effects within the first few weeks, which may or may not have been in my head (can explain). But I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs. Libido is way down, never feel rested, always moody, no motivation in the gym(half ass workouts). Just not feeling like myself for a good while now. I ordered and have some Para Pharma Test P in hopes to start a low dose and slowly go up, and if it does not agree with my system it will get out quicker than say C or E if I need to stop. I do not mind daily or EoD injections, I just don’t know what dose to start with. How often should I get blood work after first injection? How quickly can hematocrit rise, and will spring help with that? Should I try a different TRT clinic?? Any suggestions?
In my 20s I was in damn good shape and could workout 2 times a day and usually did. I had a crazy 6 pack and could eat anything and wouldn’t gain a pound lol. Not the case now in my mid 30s

My states are:
37yo 6’1” 200lbs
Total T: Between 300-380 depending on time of day I give sample. Used to be 750 when I was 24.
Stubborn belly fat around mid section but not a big gut, hard mass gainer, lose it easy if I stop working out.

I’ve never really had a diet “plan” per-say, I just don’t eat processed food or garbage. I eat a lot of fish, chicken, good carbs, and love veggies. My wife has Celiac really bad so we stay away from gluten. I have bulked before by eating everything and anything. I could use some help with having an easy diet to stick to. My job is time demanding and it does not leave me much time to cook when I get home but I’m willing to meal prep if someone is willing to give me a good plan.

Supplements: Fish oil, multi vitamin, Bcomplex
Whey protein shakes 3/day to make sure to have 200g protein. Not enough water.

Sleep: 5-6 hrs, could use more but I wake up in middle of night some nights with hot flashes. Never feel rested, never have a deep sleep.

Workouts
M: Back and Bi= Curls, shrugs, barbell row, pull ups, revers flys (5 sets 10 reps each), Abs
T: Chest and Tri= Push ups 25 reps 10 sets, Bench 5 sets 10 reps, skull krushers 5x10, flys 5x10, dips at the end to failure 3-4 sets
W: Legs= body weight jump squats. Dumbbell Lunges, Hip Thrusts 20x10 sets. Calf raises to failure, Abs
Thu: Burpees 10 sets of 15 for now. Full run to end of my street about 100 yards, 15 sec break, full run back, repeat 3 times. Abs
Fri: Deadlifts and Shoulders: Front raises 5x10, Lat raises 5x10, Arnolds 5x10, seated dumbbell press, 5x10…..
Sat and sun off

Now let me be honest, this workout is half assed when I’m doing it, I have to really force myself and lately I’ve been not even able to make it all the way through. I go super hard for like 20- 25 min and then I feel like I can’t even keep my eyes open and I shower and go lay down after a shake. I’ve been skipping days too.

I love my job, make good money, I want for nothing. Have a great family and my wife is super attractive and I adore her, she adores me and all is well in that category except my sex drive is fucked, I can get hard and keep it but the DRIVE is definitely lacking….Sure I wish I had millions and didn’t need to work but who doesn’t, lol I love my life, and I love living life. I just don’t feel myself and am ALWAYS exhausted and have no drive, I even find myself being emotional with sappy ass movies N shit, which is NOT me lol…… Please tweak my diet, my exercise routines, and anything else. I am posting the last blood test I had about 10 months ago, my symptoms are the same then as they are now, even a little worse now but not much. I do have venous insufficiency which is hereditary on my mother’s side but the compression socks work good,I was also born with Poland Syndrome, however only missing right pectoral, my right arm functions fully and is a tad smaller than my left. Surprisingly It doesn’t really effect me except on Chest workouts. Ok there it all is open and honest….. any questions just ask. Any help anyone provides I will REALLY appreciate it,

From a quick read you might simply be working too hard. trust me - been there and done that. 60-70 hr weeks are NOT good for the libido
Wish I could quite and just live off the land some days lol.. but I do enjoy my job, it’s a rewarding one even tho it comes with its own stress and set of challenges. I’ve been successful in it tho I would say.
 
@Makinbones88 You're not the first person to have all sorts of issues like this. It's a matter of balancing out your life. I would also look into things like meditation and yoga.
I think if I can get a good restful sleep that things will help, I didn’t realize how much lack of sleep can mess you up, and I don’t sleep nearly as much as I feel like my body is asking for. I wake up and am tired the whole day, which may be why my workouts are lacking. Feels like the tank is empty, ya know? Drinking water seems to help my circulation a shit ton. But I still want to try TRT and see if it will help. I’ve heard guys say it helps them have a deeper more restful sleep, I’ve also heard the opposite lol. I’m learning that everyone is very different and what works for one may be bad for someone else. But I need to start trying things and find what works for me because this can’t be how the rest of my life is going to feel lol….. I want to schedule some updated bloodwork for everyone but I need to know exactly what to get. If anything else at least it will give me a starting reference to look back on.

Now let me be honest, this workout is half assed when I’m doing it, I have to really force myself and lately I’ve been not even able to make it all the way through. I go super hard for like 20- 25 min and then I feel like I can’t even keep my eyes open and I shower and go lay down after a shake. I’ve been skipping days too.

I love my job, make good money, I want for nothing. Have a great family and my wife is super attractive and I adore her, she adores me and all is well in that category except my sex drive is fucked, I can get hard and keep it but the DRIVE is definitely lacking….Sure I wish I had millions and didn’t need to work but who doesn’t, lol I love my life, and I love living life. I just don’t feel myself and am ALWAYS exhausted and have no drive, I even find myself being emotional with sappy ass movies N shit, which is NOT me lol…… Please tweak my diet, my exercise routines, and anything else. I am posting the last blood test I had about 10 months ago, my symptoms are the same then as they are now, even a little worse now but not much. I do have venous insufficiency which is hereditary on my mother’s side but the compression socks work good,I was also born with Poland Syndrome, however only missing right pectoral, my right arm functions fully and is a tad smaller than my left. Surprisingly It doesn’t really effect me except on Chest workouts. Ok there it all is open and honest….. any questions just ask. Any help anyone provides I will REALLY appreciate it,

I think if I can get a good restful sleep that things will help, I didn’t realize how much lack of sleep can mess you up, and I don’t sleep nearly as much as I feel like my body is asking for. I wake up and am tired the whole day, which may be why my workouts are lacking. Feels like the tank is empty, ya know? Drinking water seems to help my circulation a shit ton. But I still want to try TRT and see if it will help. I’ve heard guys say it helps them have a deeper more restful sleep, I’ve also heard the opposite lol. I’m learning that everyone is very different and what works for one may be bad for someone else. But I need to start trying things and find what works for me because this can’t be how the rest of my life is going to feel lol….. I want to schedule some updated bloodwork for everyone but I need to know exactly what to get. If anything else at least it will give me a starting reference to look back on.

Hey guys, starting a log in hopes to get some real guidance and help. I have been struggling with low T symptoms for a few years now. I tried Peter MD and it didn’t workout based on side effects within the first few weeks, which may or may not have been in my head (can explain). But I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs. Libido is way down, never feel rested, always moody, no motivation in the gym(half ass workouts). Just not feeling like myself for a good while now. I ordered and have some Para Pharma Test P in hopes to start a low dose and slowly go up, and if it does not agree with my system it will get out quicker than say C or E if I need to stop. I do not mind daily or EoD injections, I just don’t know what dose to start with. How often should I get blood work after first injection? How quickly can hematocrit rise, and will spring help with that? Should I try a different TRT clinic?? Any suggestions?
In my 20s I was in damn good shape and could workout 2 times a day and usually did. I had a crazy 6 pack and could eat anything and wouldn’t gain a pound lol. Not the case now in my mid 30s

My states are:
37yo 6’1” 200lbs
Total T: Between 300-380 depending on time of day I give sample. Used to be 750 when I was 24.
Stubborn belly fat around mid section but not a big gut, hard mass gainer, lose it easy if I stop working out.

I’ve never really had a diet “plan” per-say, I just don’t eat processed food or garbage. I eat a lot of fish, chicken, good carbs, and love veggies. My wife has Celiac really bad so we stay away from gluten. I have bulked before by eating everything and anything. I could use some help with having an easy diet to stick to. My job is time demanding and it does not leave me much time to cook when I get home but I’m willing to meal prep if someone is willing to give me a good plan.

Supplements: Fish oil, multi vitamin, Bcomplex
Whey protein shakes 3/day to make sure to have 200g protein. Not enough water.

Sleep: 5-6 hrs, could use more but I wake up in middle of night some nights with hot flashes. Never feel rested, never have a deep sleep.

i would do proper TRT. sounds like you might as well do it. do a better job of sleeping, nutrition, training, and balance your MIND. its a process

I went to a urologist in my area. He wouldn’t even talk about TRT with me. He said men don’t need it unless they’ve had testicular injury and or are at like extremely double digit low levels, even if they have Low T symptoms. Now I agree that maybe it shouldn’t be the first thing to try, but when nothing else has has much impact or positive effect I don’t think it should be over looked or denied….. And if I’m willing to get the blood tests done and share the information with you guys for guidance, then what is the benefit to going to a legit Dr versus doing it myself? And I still have my vial or Cyp which I was prescribed back in October 2024, says the experation date was March 2025…. It’s been in a cool dark place, is it not any good now? I used it like a handful of times but it’s still just about full. I also have an unopened/mixed vial of HCG I was prescribed which I never got to use….. I’m thinking of running .2 ml of the Test prop EOD until I feel good, and then switching back to Test C or E….

They definitely get my heart rate WAY up and burn calories. Jumping burpees are Wild too
 
Right now I’m not taking any supplements besides whey protein, fish oil, and multivitamin. But I’d really like some solid suggestions on this.

I listed my workout routine in the log, and I don’t really have a set diet either because I don’t know how to do all that. I just easy healthy foods and eat alot when I train and am trying to bulk. I cut carbs down when I want to shred, and I eat a lot of veggies and lean meats/fish. I’d love some help with this too lol.

I’ll order all that stuff right now. I shoot for a gallon of water a day, but never get there. Realistically usually I’m putting down half of it. Lately it’s been hot here in MA so I’ve been really drinking more but my piss is still like apple juice, So I need to really concentrate on this. Today I drank a gallon but sweat a lot. Does the food app count calories and all that stuff? What is the name of what you use? And yeah I pay LabCorp Directly for Bloodwork.

That doctor sucks hahaha. Most men who start trt are really glad they did. He wants you to wait until you are almost dying before giving you the most natural drug he could possibly prescribe. Anything but that😱! I can’t even imagine what a person like that is like to live with. I bet his entire family is miserable. Probably puts everyone on antidepressants

why pay for TRT? total waste you can do self-TRT @Makinbones88 and you havent kept track of any food or training so far in any details. Your issue here is ability to get your act together. If you can't write down your food or training, even TRT is not going to help. We need to get you level headed and committed first, you understand? :D

I do. And I appreciate the criticism, I need that. Problem is my job is very demanding of my time. I run 2 School bus locations, we are in the middle of startup, by 1st week of September a lot of stress will roll off, until then my job is dictating my day usually, and I have very limited time to myself. I need a good meal plan. Where can I get that? I can log my workouts no problem, but I need to do better with food.

Do I also log my sleep and water intake? I have been drinking 1 gal a day like you guys told me to. I’ve been pissing like crazy.
 
I do. And I appreciate the criticism, I need that. Problem is my job is very demanding of my time. I run 2 School bus locations, we are in the middle of startup, by 1st week of September a lot of stress will roll off, until then my job is dictating my day usually, and I have very limited time to myself. But I am going to make a real effort here and do my best.

Meal plan? a meal plan wouldn't help you if you have no dedication. Cronometer app download it or myfitness pal, how about you track what you eat now first? lets start there. @Makinbones88
