Real name or not you can look up mail fraud description and it cover a very broad spectrum that you can be charged with . Even if you are doing legal things such as per say selling weight loss plans and you only give a sheet of paper that says exercise that can be mail fraud

Well fuck. This is the firs I'm hear I about this as I've been moving the past week. Talked to him yesterday about trading a laptop I don't use for stuff. Already sent him $250 for gear that was supposed Togo out yesterday. Today he is no where. Second time this happened to me. He came with a good recommendations too. $250 is actually a lot of money to me.

also his IP matches no other accounts.. of course he can log in from another location from a new device and conceal it, but there has never been an IP match on another username.
bottom line this guy was bad news from the start if his history is an indication, unfortunately there is no way to check someones criminal history to keep them off the board. guy makes his living breaking the law and screwing people, a lifelong criminal, a menace to society who belongs in jail and he will be back eventually
some guys have stepped up offering specials to compensate the victims on here, so the family is going to pull together. I put up a new post in the trading forum for items and if you were a PK victim let me know in PM's and I will give you a special price on any item you want plus pay shipping out of my pocket. atleast that money you save can chip away at any losses you had

Befriend everyone, gain trust thru smaller deals, Strick on a big weekend..Thats what SL did here a while back..Sent out overdosed gear, gained the trust of members and mods, then ripped the fuck off a ton of people..That was the first big scam that lead to members helping others out of the losses obtained. I do like how that tradition has stood since then..There are some great guys here..but you still cannot trust everyone...Never know who is planning the next scam.

Most boards don't have a trading section and that's what attracts people for easy money. I love the idea but personally only trade with long standing members and vets that are on other boards. I would never buy off someone who just joined and raked up a post count in one month and has never been part of another forum.
Bad part is he was probably already banned for scamming and will be back under a different ip to do it again. People need to realize, when someone just joins and tries posting on every thread to make friends then has a million bottles of gear to sell they are probably a scammer.
