Pre-heating gear

I was wondering if it was ok to heat my gear everytime before I use it? I wanted to make the oil warm for easier plunge for IM injections.

Yes, it is fine. I do it too. What I do is leave the vial(s) in a cup of hot water while I have a shower. Then I get out and pin. Works great because the muscles are warmed up and relaxed and the gear is warmed up. Really smooth pins that way.

Body heat is enough. So held in the hand or in a pocket will suffice.

you can put the syringe under hot water before pinning

I recommend warming up the gear vial before every injection to decrease PIP and make the oil disperse into the muscle easier.

Boil water with a kitchen kettle. Place your gear vial into a soup bowl. Pour the boiling hot water into the bowl so it goes 1/2 way up the side of the vial. Let the vial sit there for 1 minute and then do your injection

Running warm water in sink slightly works well, make sure you sterilize top of bottles though!
