Notes:

Somewhat confused, Friday I felt better, Saturday I felt okay. This morning when I woke up I was back to having that nagging cold, multi-coloured phlegm, mild coughing, running nose. This is getting annoying at this point. If it persists for the remainder of the week I'm going to visit my GP. Easy to feel down when missing workouts, had to talk to myself out of it many times, its okay to miss a session here or there when you're not feeling great.

Got called in to work today, shorter day of 12 hours with my commute. Had a sit down breakfast with the boys this morning.

Decided that it was in my best interest not to push it today, going to postpone some sessions until I'm healed up. I've got a long week ahead of me at work and can't fuck myself and keep battling this feel better, feel shitty, feel better pattern I have going on. I always try and push myself when I'm sick, and I think that it just delays my healing. Going to try and get to sleep at a decent time tonight and try to recover as much as possible.

Ran some numbers on the amount of money I'm spending on fuel commuting which is $700 - $950 a month, so I've ordered a Tesla Model 3. Never driven, or even been in a Tesla, but $62 a month in electricity with a brand new car sounds a lot better than what I'm currently paying, I'll save about $250 a month driving a brand new Tesla versus driving my 10 year old Honda.

Goodnight boys, hopefully wake up feeling fixed tomorrow but we know that probably won't be the case.

I've ordered elderberry extract on Amazon, should be here tomorrow. I hit the Vitamin C and Vitamin D greek underground hard the past two days. And my bad on the issues with tagging the boys, I did my log on my phone last night which I never do and it was a bit of a bitch. Will be doing her on my laptop tonight.

I agree 100% it's just hard when you've been giving her your all for months on end to wind down for a short period feel like you're missing a part of yourself.
Some of the sickest I’ve ever become in my life is when I didn’t give myself rest time. I take vit C every night as part of my supplement stack and it carries a lot of weight.

Thanks Farmboy, definitely smashing the vitamin C and D. Going to follow through with no lifting until Saturday as long as I'm back to 100% by then. Going to throw in cardio daily until then though.

Felt shitty this morning, but got progressively better as the the day went on. Kept myself busy by cleaning, and cleaning, and cleaning my house some more.

I usually give my oils a warm bath in the morning to make drawing and pinning a quicker process, was staring at the bottle steamer and figured that would be a nice hot tub for my vials, worked like a charm!

Appetite was somewhat there, didn't want to eat dinner but forced it down my gullet. Did dinner and lunch prep for the next two days.

BIG NEWS! The doctors monitoring my wife have bumped the delivery date to June 8, at 08:00. So provided nothing happens between now and then I'm going to be hopefully holding my set of twin boys by 08:15, provided nothing goes wrong or they have to be put into NICU right away (we imagine they are going to spend some time in NICU).

So provided nothing happens between now and then I'm going to be hopefully holding my set of twin boys by 08:15, provided nothing goes wrong or they have to be put into NICU right away (we imagine they are going to spend some time in NICU).

Yeah my wife and baby A (Maxwell) are starting to have some complications so they want to pull them early to prevent bad things from happening to both of them. But that means they’ll be full term but somewhat premature so an extended stay at the NICU is a possibility to get the lungs fully developed.

Damn bro you're gonna need more sleep than that with still feeling sick like that. I hope you can get some more rest this time, don't forget that melatonin my bro!

Mental challenges will come with everything you have coming up, totally understandable. As we all know (textbook psycho-babble incoming) focus on the positive like your new vascularity and clean diet you've had along with KNOWING you will get that 1RM soon enough! Now this part is not babble... it works for me, literally take it 'one day at a time' and don't put any unnecessary expectations on yourself. "Expectations are the source of all suffering" - Buddha.

The cardio you got in is really good though, great work despite everything. If you're feelin' really antsy you can lower the tren too for 2 weeks especially since it's Acetate and keep pumping the Vitamin C and D/K2 with water intake high.

Spin session is great, just finished mine, same thing, sweat everywhere, and standing spin is good for core
Yeah I was more of a sit and pedal guy but found it impossible to hit zone 2 reliably. Started doing the stand and spin and yeah heart rate skyrockets, sweat pours off of you and you get a really nice leg pump out of it. So out of a 30 minute spin I try and stand for 25, with a 2.5 minute warm up and 2.5 minute cool down heart rate has been peaking at 155 with resistance set to 50/100. It’s a bit higher I reckon because I’m battling this cold.

I've been absolutely destroying the clean eating lately. My chicken breast for lunch was a big boy.

Switching it up from chicken to ground beef, made my ground beef dish a little more calorie wise this time, only used half the sauce I normally do (the sauce is pure carbs), and drained and washed the cooked beef and wiped out all of rendered fat out of the pan.

Haven't smoked weed since January 1, 2026 after smoking weed since I was 13, and almost all day everyday since I was 25.

I'd say I'm under a bit of stress with my wife staying at her parents with my son and dog to be closer to the hospital, and her being pregnant with twins, and issues starting to arise with regards to that.

I process things a little unorthodox. I tend to run through every outcome that could happen in a stressful scenario, for example, wife survives both twins survive, wife passes, twins survive, wife survives, one twin passes, wife survives both twins pass, and then mentally prepare myself for those scenarios so I can act accordingly without being in shock if one of the less than ideal scenarios happens. I don't like to be caught off guard and I'd need to be a stalwart motherfucker if something less than ideal did happen. Obviously, good things are going to happen but it's just how I process things.
 
Yeah bro I can totally relate to that I'm a hyper-analyzer too, been in recovery off of a 13 year ketamine addiction for a good 6 years and the hardest thing for me was sleep as I have some pretty heavy anxiety.

I understand you with the kids on the way, i got 4 of them and its really hard not to let the mind wander to the dark scenarios, especially when issues start to arise during a pregnancy. I dont know your history but for me I grew up in an abusive and unsafe home and I hyper analyze to make sure I'm ready for what comes, but man it takes a toll on you.

Ill post a picture of the supplement stack im taking that has for the last 4 days allowed me to not have a single anxiety issue with some pretty stressful situations.

Do you have a therapist at all? I know there expensive but if you find a good one its life changing.

Your a soldier for getting off weed, no one talks about how hard a lifetime of blazing is to quit and I want you to know that im proud of you for it bro cause its a bitch.

If you ever feel over stressed and need to vent or whatever hit me in the dm, im sure you've got people to talk to and all that. But were anonymous here and maybe that might be easier sometimes.

I have no personal experience with tren but I hear it can make sleep, anxiety and thought processes harder.

Do you have the blue loght filter on your phone on at least in the evenings? I know it sounds dumb but anything that might help is worth trying right?

Just switched to diet coke myself for a little sweet treat once in a while...

Regarding sleep, I've been experimenting with cbd flower prerolls recently, they really help with sleep (but im still waiting for insurance company to pay for it so I domt have a constant supply)

Also re sleep, when im under great stress, I also wake up after a few hours an have trouble getting back to sleep. I would have ptsd nightmares and wake up in a panic. Dr prescribed prazosin, so now when I wake up in a panic, it doesn't trigger the physical heart racing and I can normally fall back asleep. But yesterday an old lady ran me off the road, so im up at 4am today unfortunately.

I also work atypical shifts @wye mostly 14-14 fly in fly out with 12hrs shifts and i honestly don't really care much about how long I sleep when on duty. That's additional pressure that usually makes my sleep worse. I will take 5 hours of quality sleep anyday versus a shitty 8 hours.

Still sick, but feeling better than I was earlier last week.

Had a great push day today, removed flat bench from the session for today and focused on incline and the other movements. I definitely had a better overall workout without the double bench in there so this will probably be something I do altogether moving forward after I hit that 300 1RM. I had a wild chest pump following incline, and the cable flys.

Ate very clean today, with the amount of calories I burned I treated myself to some organic tortilla chips and far too spicy salsa.

Had a wicked cardio session post dinner, really got the heart rate up and was pouring sweat.

Outside of that very successful day on a personal level, finished the custom shelving I was building for the twins room, just letting the stain burn off its smell in the garage before I mount everything in their room. Got the stroller assembled and ready for the infant car seats, and got the car seats pulled out, and ready to install in my wife's SUV. Going to visit my wife, my son, and my dog tomorrow morning for breakfast and lunch.

Date got moved up on the Tesla I ordered, now giving me a July 18 - August 22 window versus August - September that it had before. Electrician has been booked to install the level 2 charger in my garage for July 17.

I'm noticing weight is trending downwards right now as I'm eating very clean and counting the fuck out of my calories but strength increased in the week I took off. Looking very vascular when I'm dry in the morning. First picture is morning, and second set of pictures are post pressing, but before triceps work.

Since I started tracking my workouts using the Hevy app last September, I've not taken more than 3 days off consecutive. This is the first time I've taken 6 consecutive days off lifting since I had 5 consecutive days off on a work trip to Powell River mid August of last year. Felt good to get that lift in today, when you workout so much, you feel like you lose a part of yourself when you aren't lifting.

It looks like the time off actually did your physique good. Sometimes the body needs that week to heal and grow, and we are too stubborn to let it. But you can definitely see the difference in the photos.

Still sick, but feeling better than I was earlier last week.

Had a great push day today, removed flat bench from the session for today and focused on incline and the other movements. I definitely had a better overall workout without the double bench in there so this will probably be something I do altogether moving forward after I hit that 300 1RM. I had a wild chest pump following incline, and the cable flys.

Ate very clean today, with the amount of calories I burned I treated myself to some organic tortilla chips and far too spicy salsa.

Had a wicked cardio session post dinner, really got the heart rate up and was pouring sweat.

Outside of that very successful day on a personal level, finished the custom shelving I was building for the twins room, just letting the stain burn off its smell in the garage before I mount everything in their room. Got the stroller assembled and ready for the infant car seats, and got the car seats pulled out, and ready to install in my wife's SUV. Going to visit my wife, my son, and my dog tomorrow morning for breakfast and lunch.

Date got moved up on the Tesla I ordered, now giving me a July 18 - August 22 window versus August - September that it had before. Electrician has been booked to install the level 2 charger in my garage for July 17.

I'm noticing weight is trending downwards right now as I'm eating very clean and counting the fuck out of my calories but strength increased in the week I took off. Looking very vascular when I'm dry in the morning. First picture is morning, and second set of pictures are post pressing, but before triceps work.

Since I started tracking my workouts using the Hevy app last September, I've not taken more than 3 days off consecutive. This is the first time I've taken 6 consecutive days off lifting since I had 5 consecutive days off on a work trip to Powell River mid August of last year. Felt good to get that lift in today, when you workout so much, you feel like you lose a part of yourself when you aren't lifting.

Decent sleep, been having some weird dreams as of late. Last night it was about the Tesla arriving early and me not being ready.

I have Wednesday off this week so I'm going to pick up my son on my way home from work tomorrow and take him home for the night to watch a movie and eat popcorn! So excited to have him back in the home.

I didn't want to workout tonight after getting cooked in the sun all day but I got after it and had a good session. Went for a different approach with every movement today instead of heavy, heavy, heavy. I went light and to absolute failure on everything I could.

Macros were on point, had extra room in my overall calories to add a bonus scoop of protein powder to my after dinner shake.

Got scolded by @Shakey for only injecting my oils into my glutes and have started adding all the quad muscles to the mix and let me tell you it feels like Mike Tyson has given me some charlie horses, my quads are also extra bleed prone had some dramatic blood spray this morning. I had some 0.5 inch 27g pins come in today for trying out delts, but I'm honestly scared to hit those. Shakey is a good brother, even drew out all the quad muscles for me on his leg and put 'X's where to inject. My hero <3

I didn't want to workout tonight after getting cooked in the sun all day but I got after it and had a good session. Went for a different approach with every movement today instead of heavy, heavy, heavy. I went light and to absolute failure on everything I could.

Macros were on point, had extra room in my overall calories to add a bonus scoop of protein powder to my after dinner shake.

Got scolded by @Shakey for only injecting my oils into my glutes and have started adding all the quad muscles to the mix and let me tell you it feels like Mike Tyson has given me some charlie horses, my quads are also extra bleed prone had some dramatic blood spray this morning. I had some 0.5 inch 27g pins come in today for trying out delts, but I'm honestly scared to hit those. Shakey is a good brother, even drew out all the quad muscles for me on his leg and put 'X's where to inject. My hero <3

Bro, I'm gonna scold you too! You gotta switch up injection sites man, learn lats, glutes, delts and quads if you're brave but I don't recommend quads. In fact delts are the easiest you'll see. Stay off the glute injections for a bit that was way overkilling your glutes.

Working my way through the quad muscles right now. Definitely rough as hell but the glutes felt rough the first few times as well. I’ll try lats.

Doing 6 pills of taurine a day 3AM, 3PM so 6000mg daily. Not doing much for the back bumps.

De-load we will see. Definitely might have to switch up programming to a muscle group in the AM and one in the PM with how life will be.

Legs were wrecked today, probably a combination of quad injections and given'r during my leg workout yesterday but it made work very difficult today.

Macro numbers are correct but just not going to hand write all the food out tonight. Weight trending down still. Dialed diet and injectables doing there thing. Increased reta from 4mg to 6mg weekly as I've been at 4mg for quite a considerable amount of time. Increased HGH to 3iu, will monitor carpal symptoms for the next week and dial it back if required.

Long work day in 31 degree heat, I've got my son for the night for a sleep over so this log will be short and sweet.

Going to be inconsistent with the logging in t-minus 6 days. Depending on how things are going at the hospital I may be able to get away for an hour or two to workout with a buddy who lives close at a commercial gym.

Legs were wrecked today, probably a combination of quad injections and given'r during my leg workout yesterday but it made work very difficult today.

Macro numbers are correct but just not going to hand write all the food out tonight. Weight trending down still. Dialed diet and injectables doing there thing. Increased reta from 4mg to 6mg weekly as I've been at 4mg for quite a considerable amount of time. Increased HGH to 3iu, will monitor carpal symptoms for the next week and dial it back if required.

Nice update. You will be fine on 3iu GH but keep us posted if for some reason an issue.
