I'm with Steve. I listen to my body. That usually results in one off day per week. On cycle I may do no off days some weeks. Like someone else said, over training isn't a concern as long as you target different muscle groups in consecutive days and eat to fuel recovery. I think taking a week off once in a while is really beneficial. One day here and there isn't really much rest, especially if you're doing cardio on "off" days. Rest really needs to be rest IMO.if my body needs a rest i give it a rest. there is no black and white answer.
i stay active daily, it doesn't have to be weights.
Just curious how many of you take rest days. I can't help but feel like I'm wasting a day sometimes if I don't do some resistance training even though I know there are many benefits. So, do you guys take them? If so, how often?

Yes. Yes. Only as necessary. Yes.My question is, on AAS, you have a faster recovery time right? Thus allowing you to work the same body part sooner and grow faster? So how necessary is a rest day on gear? Is this not why Arnold and the builders in the 70s favored a 6 day split where they could hit every body part twice a week and even did two a days?
