Congrats on the transformation bro.. That's solid..
Thank you, sir.
You say there's some truth to them.. Do you think that people should tailor their diets to their somatype? Were there certain "diet ideologies" (low carb low fat etc) that worked or didn't work for you as an ecto?
Oh, I think there's more than just
some truth behind them. As stevesmi stated, "it takes a lot to change" your body type. In my case, it has taken some ten years and an enormous amount of effort.
Too, had I not retired during the second year of said transformation and therfore had the time to devote to it, I would not have been able to accomplish it.
Per whether or not "people should tailor their diets to their somatypes," I can't speak for everyone, but I know that I had to. Indeed, I went through three trainers/nutritionists before I found one who truly understood my needs and then customied her approach accordingly.
Yes, a "diet ideology" certainly applies to me. She - my third and final trainer/nutritionist discovered that carb' cycling and very high levels of protein were my tickets to a bigger and more muscular me; not to mention a rather gruling training regimen, copious amounts of water and, of course, AAS, peptides and HGH.
Also did you have to eat more calories than most bmr calculators estimate are needed as an ecto?
Yes. And, given my exceedingly fast matabolism (even at the age of 60), I still have to eat every three hours in order to maintain my weight.
Now then, ChickenandTest, why, uh, "ChickenandTest?
