Staying In shape on holiday

With the holidays fast approaching do any of you more experiences guys have any tips on maintaining a physique whilst all day drinking on a party holiday. What should my carb intake be if I’m consuming a lot of spirits all day should you not eat many other carbs at all to compensate? No AAS involved here can anyone share anything they’ve learnt?
 
I don't do all day drinking and partying. It's not conducive to this lifestyle, and you need to use moderation.
 
the best thing you can do is quit drinking alcohol, find new friends, and get productive hobbies

there is nothing to gain by trashing your body like this. and for those who say it is okay to do it in moderation, the truth is just like any addiction you will never beat it unless you completely quit for good. it is like a drug addict injecting heroine once a week and saying it is okay, or a sex addict getting a hooker every week.
 
Because that is the answer to your question. There is no magic workaround to your planned behaviors, that will offset the thrashing you will put on your body.
 
What I do on the days I plan on drinking is I take in just proteins and fats and get my carbs from my booze.

I also only drink clear spirits and zero calorie mixers so like a vodka with soda water and a lime or lemon.

As others have stated alcohol is probably the worst thing for maintaining a physique but you can mitigate with options like above.
 
I loved whisky and dirty martinis, past tense. Gave it up this year and shit just got better. I’m sure a few of you guys got Italian families so you know how they get down in the food department. That shit is delicious but goddamn it makes you blow up like a parade float. I think “cheat days” are retarded so I just stay consistent. If you’re going to eat some garbage just remember portion control.

Side note, I’ll argue that my use of AAS is more healthy life style than most of the guys I know who drink their asses off and smoke

what you do with your body is your business, i don't care.. as long as you aren't harming others in the process of course

but when you come on here and ask a question I am going to give you my opinion, and yes over time you will realize I was right about what i wrote above trust me. addictions and compulsive behavior are very real things. and the only way to BREAK THEM is to not do them. also if peer pressure makes you do things you don't want to do then find new friends. again great advice that people of any age can follow..

and this may come to a shock to some but partying and drinking is not fun to most people on here. i certainly have zero desire to do it! been there and done that and never enjoyed it regardless. just a waste of $$$ and made me feel like shit

I’m going to have to agree with Stevesmi on this one. IN MY OPINION, when you chose and make a commitment to gear your body up it becomes your temple. I believe the best part of this process is becoming in tune with and respecting your body. Now you spend all this time and hard work building your house your talking about rolling through there pulling your pants down and shutting right in the middle of the floor, punching holes in the walls and ripping the curtains down. Think about why you’re here. You wouldn’t put regular octane fuel in your Lamborghini - you look like a asshole.


Now if this falls on deaf ears, my next recommendation would be to go full retard, shoot some tren ace, take a 20mg of cialias, and check back in the morning. My prediction would be a story with one tranny, a black dildo, and 12lbs of astroglide. Enjoy!

I get it, alcohol is counter productive to building the ideal physique, but occasionally drinking isnt going to trash your body....

Is binge drinking multiple times a month a good idea? No. Is an occasional few social drinks ok? I dont see why not.

Its just like cheat meals. Are they idea? No. Will it kill you? Nope!

Now drinking heavily while taking PEDs/AAS is a separate convo as they are already putting strain on your body so heavy drinking is a huge no no unless you want major issues.

To each their own though!

I completely agree - im just the kind of person that has no gray area...either im walking a straight line or burning the whole house down. I know...I have issues.

No I hear you. I dont do cheat meals my only real vice is a vodka soda or a nice glass of a good whiskey every once in a while. I do hear you though if I start doing things more frequently that are not beneficial to me I can get into that same mentality of burning the whole house down LOL!

Also I nearly spit out my coffee at the tren ace, tranny, black dildo, lube and Cialis scenario lord knows have come close to that back in the day and not by choice hahaha

LOL Yeah you always wonder how that shit happens, and then I finally cycled Tren - totally get it now.
 
I'm a guy that believes in living life and enjoying your freedoms but also living sensibly and in moderation to still achieve your goals. The key is balance. There is no real answer to this except be sensible. Tru to give yourself limits and practice damage control. Limit yourself on carbs if you're going to be drinking. Stay hydrated. Dont go overboard on anything. Extremes ate detrimental and there is no opposite resolution to extremes. No matter how you look at it, the experience is going to be negative to progress to some degree. But you cam keep it to a minimum but balancing things accordingly. When I go on vacation I drink, I eat without thinking about macros so much and I enjoy life. But I also know my limits and where to draw the line. Thats really the best answer I can give you

100% I had 1 beer after two days of doing strength display work this past weekend and one during the week (in fact I shared that one).

Hahaha trust me its a lot worse on other forums. Guys here just give you their honest opinion. You wont find a better place though for information ive been on different boards for over a decade and this is the first one where ive lasted more than 6 months and havent been like fuck this place they are just trying to push/sell PEDs or give harmful, half baked advice.
