Stupid question about injecting

Hi guys and girls,

This is a really stupid question, but I'm new to taking steroids and I want to be 100% sure I don't get an infection. I might be a little paranoid of getting an infection. I've only injected twice so far.

Here's my question. Last time a drew the test E I drew a little too much and I injected some of the test back into the bottle (without removing the needle). I know this is probably dumb, but I was just wondering if this is a problem, like if this could've contaminated the test solution somehow?

The syringe was brand new out of the package.

Thanks.

Do you mean after you injected yourself like you wanted .5CC and you drew say a full CC, dosed your .5CC and then took the same contaminated needle and shot the rest of the test back into the bottle??

I mean i dunno up to you. If you mean you drew too much, removed the needle from the rubber stopper, realized it then put it back in that should be fine but if after the needle had been used to dose thats not something I would want to reuse....

shouldnt be a problem. usually people get infections for one of two reasons. either not using proper aseptic technique (rubbing alcohol should be applied both to the rubber stopper of the vial and the injection site) or dirty gear. I would have some doxycycline on hand just in case you ever see signs of an infection. this drug is relatively cheap with little side effects and has MRSA coverage. If youre that freaked out about it, just toss the vial but its not something I personally would worry about.

when you are inexperienced about something, there are no stupid questions.
asking costs nothing, knowing is always better.

if you don't ask, you don't know..and if something happens ... this is worse than a "stupid" question

No issue at all. Infections from steroid injections are extremely rare. It is almost always tissue irritation that results in guys panicking about potential infections.
