Supplementing with Caffeine

What do you guys think? Friend or Foe.

-----> Ive been doing it for about a week and a hlaf now and i notice that it helps give me that spark to start the set and go again and again, although whenever i mention it to people, they say "Oh thats really bad for you" (Bull**** i say)

On the back of my bottle (Shoppers drug mart Life product) it says that it has as much caffeine as 1 cup of coffee, I say, its the same as a cup of coffee, but better for you because it doesnt have the chemicals, sugar or milk in it!

Neither would a black coffee.
 
caffeine will speed up aging and interfere with your ability to reach a deep sleep. those are undisputable facts

now as far as workouts taking caffeine before a workout may seem like a good idea but it isn't. what you are doing is causing your heart rate to speed up easier during your workout which is counter productive. it is a huge no-no. it also will suppress your own bodies adrenaline and they are super addicting. these caffeine pre workouts are pushed heavily in the supplement industry because they are legal and cheap to produce, so companies put out junk science promoting them.

what you need to do here is simply get better quality sleep and even look into changing up your meal timing ahead of a workout. so you can maximize that adrenaline for better workouts. if you keep using stimulants before a workout you will simply get addicted
 
I used to drink black coffee with a spoon of honey for a boost before a workout.
Got a lot of heartburn though so i stopped using it.
If you take caffeine pills you gonna get used to them over time and they wont affect u anymore.

Nothing wrong with using caffeine before a workout if it helps you. Its popular to use preworkout for a reason. Just dont abuse it
 
I really think caffeine is a big drug and that's why I don't stay with it, even if everything is a drug nowadays. But however one small cup after training shouldn't do bad!
 
sometimes i use it before training, a cup of espresso does a good effect on me. but it doesn't work for everybody this way
