Sweed's Cutting LOG!!

Cycles been over for a week. Was sick for about 2 of them or gettin over It and the diet stunk that whole time, barely ate anything. So not optimal results, but it'll def take it! Hanging around 235 and lower bf, was 237-38ish at the end last week, so I dropped some water weight.
Just going to keep my diet strict for the next 2 months. Hopefully drop a few lbs of bf a month, nothinbg crazy, but just to keep this condition for my cutting this spring/ end of march, when I'll be ( hopefully) starting my test cycle :)

Just finished a great chest workout, doing cardio now. Big pump and looking like I have dropped some water up top. Love the look in the morning, abs are poping more and more it seems :)
Need to get some more supps! :)

Ya im 6'2", so basically for me to look as proportionate to you at 5'6" and 200, i'd have to be like 280, lol. 10 lbs for each addition inch I've heard.
I do feel great, I am going to stay this condition for a few months. Then I'll drop another 10%+ to get into super good condition!

Oh I dont think I'll ever get to 280, nor want to! lol a lot of stress on the heart, and i wont have good endurance, lol.

Whenever I get to where I'm happy i'll stop, but that's a few years down the road :) I am happy now, but I know I can progress so much more :D

I hear ya man, it was a joke! I'm 225 right now and that is about the heaviest I like for my frame. I've been at about 235 and felt sluggish but wasn't as lean as I am now though. The leaner and meaner a guy is the better he feels, everyone has different goals. As long as you are happy thats all that matters. Keep it up bro!

oooosorry, didn't see ya, and no I didn't, some small obsticles in the way, but I am happy where I am now, and will be ready for my big cut this spring.
As you can see I am very far off to the "10-12%" I wanted to be by now, but I have rethought about bf and all that stuff. (pic on previous page) but I am happy with my weight.
But at least I had a goal and that kept me focused along with everyone here to keep me motivated! :D

Looks like you will be killing that shit! Rest is always a bad thing, you could always just do some abs and a good session of cardio on thursday instead!

Rest is good and bad! but too much rest of it is bad! lol
I am maintaining so I can see a little more rest isn;t necessarily a bad thing. I am just keeping my body happy with the workouts.

I am going to do an arms day on thursday. so my other workouts will be quick ones. Which isn;t a bad thing! lol
 
Only you can be the judge bro, listen to your body. All I know is I pushed and pushed and pushed until I couldn't push anymore on the shredder stack. Made good gains, recovered well but can tell my body needs rest. I'm gonna take a solid couple days off here as well. Hit that shit up on wednesday with my new plan!

I've overtrained far too many times in the past and has always led to me dropping the weights completely. I am not doing that this time! 4 weeks of recovery and maintaing strength while dropping a few lbs and than taking a week off on the beach in Cuba. Will prolly go through the motions in the gym they have there a couple days, a jog on the beach, a swim but mostly some relaxing :17: Than when I return I will be physically and mentally to KTS again! :batman:

Keep up the hard work SWEED! You're gonna look like a :tank:

Yesterday legs, good workout just felt a little weak. I think I go toooo slow for my reps, and that's why the weights are feeling heavy. lol
Chest today, so should be a good, fast workout, since I am only doing chest.

Can't wait for my meals today, cuz I cooked up something very good! :drool:

No, if I count I get to 3 or 4 seconds up and down, lol . I know I should only keep it to 2 seconds. My pauses are too long I think as well. At least a second.
Mental thing I have to break, because I think if I am not keeping control of the movement and pausing long enough, I will be using momentum to get the weight up and so it will effect growth.
But I have to remember when I was incline benching 275, I didn't do much of a pause at the bottom and I grew like a mothahh!! well partly because it was my first test cycle, lol
 
Holy shit at 3-4 sec up and down!

I grew like a mother with fast reps in the past also, I also hurt myself lol... Now I'm slow and careful
 
Yup, hurt my right shoulder during that cycle too going up in weight a little bit too fast.
Todays chest day, I wasn't so darn strict. I got up to 205 for my last set, which I know is nothing, but still kept the reps on a 2 second down and up, with a shorter pause at the top and bottom. Just did chest so only did 3 exercises and got outta there. A good bro in the gym came up to me right before I started cable fly's and was like. "Bro, your getting big man! What r u doing?" Haha I was like, eh just finished cutting and just maintaining now. So that's a good sign I am at a good point, and 2 weeks post shredder stack. Must be leaner, you tend to look 'bigger' when you're leaner.
Felt reak good today.
Tomorrow off, and Back and arms thursday!

keep KTS bro. doing chest today. if anything like yesterday with my biceps and back i thought they where going to pop out of my body they where so puffed up. wonder if this is the slin doing that. they where not that puffed before like now puffed and tight. it kind of feels good like i just want to keep pumping the weights lol. the pumps are better i know that im getting 5 or more extra reps sometimes.

I think it has something to do with my body type. I'll get my girl to take pics later and i;ll post them in my log and maybe everyone can help me!

My opinion is to not get caught up in what BF you think you are, just get to that point you want to be at and be happy. If you get caught up in a number, then you will get frustrated if you find out that you are really higher than you think. Maybe only be interest about your bf %if you do a contest, or just for the fun of it. I have always been conservative with my bf to not get frustrated, and it helps :)

Razor, I needto get some of that needtoslin for sure! maybe I'll get some Tuesday :)

Feeling good today, sore in the chest, so it worked! lol Rest day, and then hitting back and arms tomorrow. Getting all my food in during the day which is nice for a change! I am eating more and feeling more hungry! hmmmm, you'd a thunk it ;)

If you get caught up in a number, then you will get frustrated if you find out that you are really higher than you think. Maybe only be interest about your bf %if you do a contest, or just for the fun of it. I have always been conservative with my bf to not get frustrated, and it helps :)

I just try and be happy all day, everyday; if you're not, then you just get stressed and feel lousy! :D

Today I have a back and arms workout ( skipped tri's the other day so gonna hit them hard with my bi's!) I also just feel like a good ol deadlifting day. So I think I am going to start the day out with a little bit of old fashion Deadlifts! LIttle cardio to warm up and then hit that cold bar of steel, throw on those old dusty plates, and lift some good weight. Nothing that I used to DL, I used to warm up with 315, lol. and do my sets of 405. So I will prob slowly get up to only 315. I jsut dont want to mess my back up!

Then I'll do some pulldowns, 1 arms rows, shrugs, lateral raises, and then some bi's and tri's... wow, thats going to be a long workout even though I have minimal rest between sets and exercises! Then some cardio after, and then need to do some cooking tonight for tomorrow's meals. Then it's off to hit the road! BUSY DAY! :D

I have no more n2kts til tuesday, so it's going to be all me killing it today in the gym!!

I just started deads again this week too, its good to be able to do them again (dbol back pumps are too much....)

my traps were pretty poor till i did my first cycle a few months ago, they literally blew up in like 4 weeks!

even now i have to hit them hard and with volume!

Soo I tried posting my workout last night but couldn't post it, got error messages and stuff. So I get to do that now! Plus a lot easier on my work comp! lol
So I got to DLing after 10 mins of warmup cardio, stretched a bit, then started out light, and did 145 for like 15. The I just did sets of 5 with 225, 285, 315, and would have done 365, but my grip failed! lol
So not heavy weight at all, but def a good starting point, and I think I'll do these every other week for some fun! Plus they got me sweating for my workout :)
Had a great workout, and everything went great, I increased the weight, and my reps were faster ( not that they are fast reps, but a controlled 2 up, pause, 2 down, pause). I was going waay to slow before. I ended with cardio.... well half of it. I was going to do 20 minutes, but then a little after 10 minutes, the power went out! *Darkness* All the machines turned off, so I am glad I was only walking and not running! So I got off and pounded my OJ and then my whey and took off! :)

weight staying at 235, which is perfect for me right now :)

Do you use lifting chalk? If you don't you will shit your pants on how much more you can lift. I am not a beleiver in gloves, straps, etc but have tried them all just for DL's and they are all garbage and would loose grip strength as the sets would go on. Very frusterating when you know you can actually lift for more reps, etc. I only use chalk on back day and let me tell you, I will never train without it ever again! I was doing 400 lbs for reps a couple days ago and it was honestly easy enough. Could have done more!

Good leg workout. Leg presses increased weights and speed to get up to 6 plates per side, again had a good pause at the top and bottum of the movement. Speed was about 2 seconds up and down. Felt good and got my reps and also felt very fast! Then some huge kid walks in and makes me feel tiny, lol. But his leg presses were rediculous, he got up to 9 plates, but the weight was boucing off the bottum of the rack to help him get them up he was goin so fast!
Got sick before my squats so last part of the workout kinda stunk.
Doin cardio now. 20 mins

Then a much needed night to relax! :D
 
Glad you still got in a great workout even after a long weekend! Leg days can always be brutal!! :p
