Taking days off

I have a question about working out that I hope someone can help me with. Do you take days off from your routine? If so, is it better to take two days in a row off, or break it up? On the days that you don't exercise do you decrease your calorie intake?

I take every saturday and sunday off, and I do eat less typically since theres less expenditure

I take 3 days a week off but food stays the same as I still need nutrition to recover.
 
You grow in your sleep as the body repairs itself. Over training is a recipe for injury. The body can’t take going full throttle seven days a week. Need to fit time in for healing. Sometimes I’ll lift 5 days straight then the weekend off. Other times 2-3days on, 1-2days off, depending on which muscle groups I worked
 
I don't have a set schedule. Depends on how late I have to work or if anything is going going on with the kids. Typically I get in 4 days a week minimum. If I'm on a cycle I'll make time and do 5-6 days.
 
I listen to my body mainly, sometimes ill take a couple days off a week. All depends how well the body is recovering.

I listen to my body. Do 2 or 3 days on, 1 day off.
Days off u need to eat same. That's when Ur actually building muscle, during sleep ect. The gym just tears the fibres for growth outside the gym. Somthing like that!
