Testing purity using melting point

I had a thought about using a melting point Apparatus to test purity of raws/orals and was curious if any evo brothers had any experience with the matter?
The way I see it, if you use a new source,test using melting point and the purity will tell you how much powder to add.
Example: source says raw test or dbol is 99% but melting point is half of what it should be,so now you know it's really 50% of advertised substance and that you need to double powder or take double dose to reach desired concentrations.

I mean test and dbol raws are dirt cheap... if your source is half decent they should be reasonably pure. I know sometimes when I get test E it's already started to melt because it has one of the lowest melting points of all steroids.

well it seems like you are gambling getting in raws no matter what you do. even if it tests good how do you know it won't contain heavy metals?
