Approved Log TRT and Retatrutide Journal (The Dad Bod experiment)

Update on the last 48 hours: still making forward progress. No 4am gym session this morning; WFH today so sneaking out for a midday Push session... the clen cut taken pre-WO

Today's doses:
- 2mg Reta
- 5 N2Guard
- 25mg Proviron
- 20mcg Clen
- 40mg Anavar
- 20mg Cardarine
- 5000mg Vit C
- 100mg asprin
- 10g Creatine
- 12.5mg Aromasin (yesterday did 100mg Test E)

I've reached out to @Wolfenstein for some Glow 70 to get BPC & TB for the joints (in addition to a mental performance stack I'm working through & researching) - so that's on the way.

I'd love some feedback on the workout (this is adapted from a Push Calibre routine, I've added the cable twist because I want to add obliques given I don't do abs on the bike):
- Dumbbell incline bench press (warmup)
- Dumbbell incline bench press 3 x 8-10 reps
- Machine Shoulder Press 3 x 8-10 reps (this one I'm questioning because it feels like a stretch to reach the handles and I think I'm upsetting my shoulder joints - bad posture probably doesn't help flexibility here) - my thoughts are maybe swapping out for just a dumbbell shoulder press??
- Cable seated fly 3 x 8-10
- Cable twist 3 x 8-10
- Cable tricep pulldown 3 x 8-10
- Dumbbell lateral raise 3 x 8-10

Pull day on Sunday will be:
- Dumbbell deadlift 3 x 8-10
- Dumbbell bent over row 3 x 8-10
- Cable lat pulldown 3 x 8-10
- Cable twist 3 x 8-10
- Dumbbell hammer curl 3 x 8-10
- Barbell preacher curl 3 x 8-10 (this one I found very tough on Wed morning, either the weight was too much or I've got really bad technique, thinking just swapping out to a std dumbbell curl)
- Dumbbell reverse wrist curl 3 x 8-10


Will do a weigh in and some update photos over the weekend...
@Atypical_CA I like it all other than the clen it can have some nasty side effects. I’d be extremely safe and make sure you drink plenty of water.

Totally understand - it’s a 10 week, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off cycle (it’s in the evo.org steroid profiles) but yes, looking out for side effects if any🙏🏻
 
Adding volume on lighter weight was an absolute masterstroke was able to push to exhaustion, but I’m not sore or felt like I’ve done damage to anything 👌🏻

Tried sneaking an incline dumbbell bench into the mix but had to cut it short because three shoulder/chest in a row did me in. I’ve got a ton of realestate on my upper chest to develop so trying to work upper and middle chest in the same day. Dunno if that’s wise or not but open to suggestions on specific exercises to improve that muscle group. Maybe I just split them up further in the WO - put the incline at second last of end of the session after the tricep pull downs?

Tried sneaking an incline dumbbell bench into the mix but had to cut it short because three shoulder/chest in a row did me in. I’ve got a ton of realestate on my upper chest to develop so trying to work upper and middle chest in the same day. Dunno if that’s wise or not but open to suggestions on specific exercises to improve that muscle group. Maybe I just split them up further in the WO - put the incline at second last of end of the session after the tricep pull downs?

I had my usual coffee this morning, a tub of Greek yoghurt and just downed a cup of soup with four (small) slices of sourdough… I’m never feeling hungry these days from the Reta. I suspect you’re gonna tell me to eat more because I’m working the muscles?

The good behaviour continues… pull day - same deal. Paused the clen and going to see how the nausea feels… had a yoghurt (3.5g protein) and espresso when I got home post WO. Pinned 120g Test too, will take an AI tomorrow in addition to the usual supps/orals stack.

I’ll pay attention to how I feel during the day when I have some food. I could be just starving myself at nights.

Weight trajectory is still good - target is still sub 80 but I’ll accept muscle going to offset this. Getting great (by my T-Rex standards) pumps at the gym 🤣

solid call pausing the clen, that’ll let you see if the nausea settles without extra noise. getting some food in post training and watching how you feel through the day will tell you if it’s just under fueling at night. weight trend and pumps both look good, so you’re still moving in the right direction. :D @Atypical_CA

Been good-ish since Friday. Push sesh on Friday, just did Pull session and upping the weights now keeping reps same as I can to just increase volume. (Photos of both sessions)

I’m not pushing the highest weights in the gym, but I’m determined to be a bloody freight train and keep getting heavier when it gets too easy and not fkn stop 💪🏻

Nausea has all but gone from stopping the Clen (which is a shame coz was looking forward to those gains in cardio and cutting) but the anavar and cardarine are still in the mix (40mg var + 20mg cardarine a day)

We hit 81.4kg on the scales on Friday… slowly slowly 🤞🏻)

Getting my protein in now after the workout and my coffee. Diet took a detour Friday for a date night - but the Reta is keeping me honest and restricting how much volume I can eat & drink. It’s also handy excuse for getting the cheque early 😉

Been good-ish since Friday. Push sesh on Friday, just did Pull session and upping the weights now keeping reps same as I can to just increase volume. (Photos of both sessions)

I’m not pushing the highest weights in the gym, but I’m determined to be a bloody freight train and keep getting heavier when it gets too easy and not fkn stop 💪🏻

Nausea has all but gone from stopping the Clen (which is a shame coz was looking forward to those gains in cardio and cutting) but the anavar and cardarine are still in the mix (40mg var + 20mg cardarine a day)

We hit 81.4kg on the scales on Friday… slowly slowly 🤞🏻)

Getting my protein in now after the workout and my coffee. Diet took a detour Friday for a date night - but the Reta is keeping me honest and restricting how much volume I can eat & drink. It’s also handy excuse for getting the cheque early 😉
Good move bumping the weights while holding reps, that’s how you’ll keep stacking size steady. Dropping clen was smart if it had you sick, var and cardarine together will still give you plenty of drive and lean progress. Sitting at 81.4kg and still climbing shows diet and training are working even with a little detour, retatrutide doing its job keeping you in check. Protein and coffee post lift is perfect timing to recover and keep that momentum rolling.

That pump is the hook, once you feel it and see the muscles blow up in the mirror you just want more. The 20 rep progression plan is a solid way to push steady overload without overthinking it, you’ll grow on that for sure. Diet sounds clean with eggs, broccoli, and shakes, and if retatrutide is keeping hunger down it makes sticking to the plan way easier. Adding leg press for volume will bring those cycling legs back quick. :D

Thanks for the love guys. Been on school holidays the last four days with my two daughters on the Gold Coast. Diet not been so strict but the Reta has kept volume of crap to a minimum. Not seeing anything as a setback, it’s a chance to go harder again when I get back. We start again tomorrow 💪🏻

I've been working in the shadows the last month... quietly building away... Reta stops the diet being bad, Test helps the body and my overall sense of wellbeing. Did the Anavar & Cardarine cycle (40mg & 20mg per day) leading into my work cycling event and smashed out 100km on the bike with zero bike training, just the gym work (my prior experience on the bike helped here too).

The gym work and fixing diet with the Reta just makes it too damn simple... the scales are under 80kg now (even with the additional muscle mass) - I'm feeling practically unkillable right now... I think my target is going to be abs... its close, just need to cut the fat down a little more and keep the gym work up. I still do Push/Pull days 6 days a week - I take the 20mg cardarine every day too plus the Proviron (25mg daily) and Aromasin 12.5 the day after the Test pin (that hasn't changed, but have gone back to Cyp and the body is accepting it alot more; no more lumps)

Just introduced HGH and KLOW80 into the mix now from @Wolfenstein (Austrix Pharma) - attached some gear porn for you all. Starting HGH on 1IU a day before bed and the KLOW80 M-F @ 4mg a day (80mg vial)... feeling top of the world right now... much love to everybody who's watched & commented... @Atypical_CA reta forces you to eat healthy. It also has been shown to help with addiction. So if someone has a food addiction it will definitely help with that.

very nice summary of how these compounds are helping you. Seems like you're keeping things simple, which I like. The proviron and the aromasin look really solid. They are both important ancillaries. @Atypical_CA
