hey guys so just finished up my cycle, bloods came back and test was at 4.7, doctor has prescribed TRT with testogel, which is 50mg testosterone daily. My question is should I not take the testogel and continue to run with my pct protocol (hcg injections followed by nolva)?

A lot of red flags here.

Where’s the clomid in your pct?

How long has your cycle been over?

When did you start your pct?

If you’re cycling than you don’t want to introduce testogel. Of course your testosterone is low, you’re in a pct

Might be a stupid thing to say but I was under the impression that hcg followed by nolva would be fine and there would be no need for clomid. Cycle was 12 weeks test e 500mg. Pct has not started yet as last injection was only one week ago. But yes I thought the testogel would not be the way to go if I’m going to be starting a pct, just wanting more opinions

If you are on TRT, you don't run a PCT. You just resume TRT at the end of your cycle.

This is the first time I’ve been prescribed trt
TRT is for life. It is prescribed, because your natural ability to produce testosterone is no longer able to maintain sufficient levels. Since TRT introduces an exogenous source of replacement testosterone, your body fully shuts down its own production. Once you have been on TRT for a while, there is little to no chance of restarting natural production.

Agreed witha above.

Dude your PCT sucks no offense. HCG is suppressive so thats a no go in PCT (if you really want to recover). Nolva is good but you should run clomid as well. Also are you continuing to take your AI? Right after you stop injecting you cant just drop your AI without risking the compounds continuing to aromatize in your system (it takes weeks for them to clear) so hopefully you are tapering it off and not just stopping.

Also how are your test levels at 4.7? Is that total test based on a normal standard range of 250-850? You have only been done for a week I mean anything is possible but you are using Test E which is a longer ester so how is that even possible?

Also why would you even consider TRT? RUn your PCT and see where you are 4-6 weeks after your PCT is complete and then go from there.

What did you pre-cycle bloodwork look like?

everything here is wrong. i highly recommend learning what these compounds do before putting anything else into your body. if you want to cut to the chase and get help asap i would recommend hiring someone to guide you. i do offer 1 on 1 consults and we can go over all of this and whatever else you need to help get you on the right track

Im confused. You have only been off of test Enanthate for a week and you have low T? Your test should be through the roof right now. I would go through the PCT then give it some time before you look at TRT. If you do need it at that point, stay away from the gels, they're shit.

none of this makes any sort of sense whatsoever as others have pointed out... your test should be sky high if you are just a week off test e... your pct is pure shit, not even remotely close to what a pct should look like and if you are on trt, you dont even need a pct

So what's the urgency?

What he said!

Clomid is not an absolute must on PCT as people claim it's actually not needed at all. But some other things besides novadex will help you greatly. But if you're on TRT then you don't do a PCT.

You need to attempt a full recovery then get bloodwork afterwards. Then you'll have an accurate idea of your test levels.
