Warm up pre pin

Guys,

Sorry for what seems to be a stupid question but Id really like to know the best way to warm up gear pre-pin to make the pin smoother and easier. Never had an issue, but would like to know just in case.

I know most ways include either placing the vial in hot water, or syringe in hot water , or blow drying the /vial syringe...but Im most worried about doing it right, whatever the method, to preserve sterility.

So give me your terchniques and please try and be as specific as you can when it comes to sterility. Thanks

Run it under warm water

Heat some water in a medium pot with the water level half or 3/4 of the vial in height. Heat it just before boiling and take it off the fire. Put your vial in the water for a min and check the warmth to see if it’s good to go. That way you don’t mess with sterility at all.

I wrap my vials in a heating pad for about 15 minutes before hand.

You should be sterilizing the stopper with alcohol wipes before every draw regardless.

Just warm it up with some hot water, no matter what way you choose to do it make sure you sterilize your stopper afterwards with an alcohol wipe/pad/cotton or something. Hope it helps

this is what i do with crashed gear and it works great.
