Congrats Bro !
I remember when I stopped putting Sugar & Cream in my Coffee.
Took about 10 Days to get use to it.
Now I have to have Strong Black Coffee that's Flavorful.

I also stopped using extra Salt awhile ago.

Now I can taste any Sugar or Salt in Food.
So when I eat out, I have to tell them to tell the Chef to hold off on both, if he's using them................................... JP

Yes! My hubby gave up salt awhile back as well. Now he can actually taste the flavor of the food.

It takes about 1-2 weeks to get used to ANYTHING. It's not so bad.

Good for you, congrats!!

Nice one I dropped all pre work out stims and limited to one coffee pre workout.

No other stimulants from sups, it was hell for two weeks hardly function major caffeine withdrawal headaches tired could sleep standing.

Now its all good get my workouts in and don't need all the costly extra supliments.

I was using a crap pile of pre workout 3 times a day every day 7 days a week so it was a hard cold turkey

Awesome job!

Your tastebuds will actually start to change. Once you have cut out sugar from your diet for an extended period of time, you won't crave it anymore.

For me, when I look at a fast food meal like a Big Mac and fries, it doesn't even look appealing.

Eat good today so you feel good tomorrow :)

I can attest to this first hand...However, with my 15 year layoff, i totally ruined the effort...

I tried cold turkey to get off caffeine a few times with intense headaches. It had me rushing to get a coffee in the afternoon. What worked in the end for me was this...

-make your own coffee...buy a tub of regular and a tub of decaf
- for 2 weeks mix 1 scoop decaf with 2 scoops regular
-next 2 weeks mix 2 scoops decaf with 1 scoop regular
-after that, go with all decaf

This world for me and I had no headaches or withdrawal.

Do you usually feel some sort of well-being, better moods, skin or anything from such things? In short - is it worth it and how much?

Don't really feel anything, but its mostly like flush/detox and reevaluate

went from having 3-4 double shot long blacks a day when I was working as a barista to having barely a coffee a week if I'm out and someones shouting me, and now I'm working a more intense job, but still feel great, however when I do have the rare coffee or Redbull in dire circumstances they now hit hard, its great not having a dependency on it

Sounds good! I just went to the docs office yesterday cause my back was flaring up and my legs were swelling. She told me I need to cut back on salt big time and hold off on alcohol as well. I got stupid with my diet since I stopped my orals this cycle but even injectable aas require a clean strict diet. I'm paying for it now, gotta detox!

I'm in the same boat. It's really hard for me when I see my two kids eating poptatrs, etc. I'm like a dog, I can smell that stuff across the house!
