Hey, new here thought I'd start by posting my blood work baseline and a little introduction.
Been feeling sluggish lately, no motivation, not hitting the gym as often so decided to get my blood work checked out thought maybe I had low T levels.
Total T: 22.7 nmol/L looks good but Free T: 356 pmol/L is low-mid from my research labs say under 200 pmol/L but online most stuff I read says under 300 pmol/L?
Does anyone have experience naturally being around 350 pmol/L Free T? Did you experience similar sides like no motivation, less gym days etc? Based on what I understand my Total T is optimal so I wouldn't really be a candidate for TRT but I mean obviously I want to have optimal levels across the board and feel normal and have energy.
I'm 32, 6 foot 1 and weigh 230lbs probably around 25% body fat right now. I wouldn't say I'm a beginner lifter but not advanced either. I was doing 225lb bench, 225lb squats, 390lbs dead lifts (skipped leg day a lot). My plan is to get back in the gym for a re-comp and based on my blood work I plan to do a 10 week re-comp with 250mg test e weekly. I don't plan to add anything crazy just basic creatine and a high carb/protein diet 3500-4000 calories and lift 6 days a week chest/tris, back/bis, and legs/shoulders hitting each group twice a week. I'm on a budget so mostly gonna be oats, honey, peanut butter, banana, hemp hearts, chia seeds for breakfast, rice and ground beef for lunch and dinner and a can of chicken as snack. My daily total base will be around 210g protein, 497g carbs, 124g fat, 3980 calories.
I've never really bulked, mostly just did strength training in a deficit my goal was to lean out and get the beginner gains I was always over weight so my focus wasn't bulking when I was dedicated to it. So my thought process was stay in a small deficient so I'd burn the fat down and as a beginner I was going to see gains anyways.
A couple old photos. Just strength training in a deficit never bulked yet.
Anyways since I won't quality for TRT through a doctor due to total levels being normal I guess that's a "gray area"? I figured since I'm doing it anyways there is no point in doing a TRT dose I might as well just do 250mg weekly and get some decent performance gains and go hard in the gym and do a re comp.
Where I currently am. (haven't been lifting daily or even weekly, lost motivation, lack energy)
I understand that I'm no where near my genetic potential and I'm not doing it for that reason but that I just lack the energy and motivation I had in the past and apon receiving the tests my conclusion is that it's probably because I'm on the lower end? Plan would be 125mg sub q on Monday and Thursday for 10 weeks. Expecting the first 3-4 weeks to be a bit slugish still mostly pushing myself hard because I know I want to take advantage of the cycle then after it gets saturated into my system start feeling a lot better after week 3-4. After PCT if it's continuously low I'd think maybe TRT dosage to cruise and like 1-3 proper cycles a year depending on length. Something like that.
So I just want opinions of pros/amateurs/educated individuals. Like some people will say don't start it you're too high body fat, hit the gym first. You're no where near your genetic potential it's not worth it. etc etc. Personally I think it's going to be life changing and get me back to feeling like myself and actively lifting again.
So based on the results below do you think it's worth it and beneficial to jump on 250mg test e weekly? I get it's above TRT dosage but if I'm gonna pin might as well take advantage of it? Aromasin on hand for sides, testing done again at week 6, clomid for pct.
Anyways that's my little intro and here are the results from the blood work. All the health markers look great.. I'm not a doctor but everything looks good besides being very close to the low free test levels.
I've never tried SARMS or anabolics but I'm wondering if maybe a supplement I took could have brought my levels down maybe had something in it not labeled etc? I was dedicated meal prepping, working out 5-6 days a week then just kinda lost energy and interest then slowly started skipping days. I don't post on forums often so if this is a mess bare with me. lol
So what is everyone's opinion? Blood work look good? Should I try like 125mg weekly TRT dose and see if I feel better or don't waste time just do the 10 week re comp at 250mg weekly and slug it out for the first few weeks until I'm feeling better then just go hard until the end of the cycle and get the most out of it? If I jump on 250mg weekly then get off do PCT is it likely I come back naturally in the same levels, do people ever come back at higher natural levels, will it suppress it even more?
My bad for so many questions.. most of them I've already read about in the past but it hits different when someone with real world experience gives their 2 cents compared to just reading it. Reassurance, I guess?
