So, milk's no good now after all these years? The media will make it healthy again soon I hope.![]()
So, the entire mammary gland/mother's milk concept is a farce..
Adults have drank milk, all throughout history, world-wide.
lol what??!! humans did not even start farming until 5000 years ago, so the previous millions of years of evolution humans did no such thing. google the agricultural revolution, and milk didn't even come around in the US until last century. so unless you are saying humans have only walked the earth 5000 years, you are off by a few million years on your theory on that
in most of Africa and Asia milk is barely drank, if at all.
the only countries that consumes milk in large amounts are US, Canada and west europe which are all dairy farming areas
dude I've published articles about milk over the years, I don't think making up stuff will work with me on this subject lol.. nice try though.
Well, I personally don't believe the world has been here for millions of years anyhow, but that's another topic, and one I'm sure your against as well. And why do you propose your theories are always correct, and everyone else's incorrect? lol. I could publish articles on childbirth, but it wouldn't make me knowledgeable or an expert on childbirth. Milk is healthy bro - accept it. It's not my opinion, it's just the way it is.
Back to the original topic of a gallon a day or more seriously that is how you get kidney stones. Drink lots of milk sodas and not enough water calcium deposits build up then your pissing stones. Seen a few young guys get em too and damn I wouldn't want that pain ever. Instead of a gallon of milk how about drink a gallon of water stay hydrated and eat your food.
yeah dude if you don't think the world has been here for millions of years then there is no need to continue this conversation.
I suppose fossils of dinosaurs are fake as well
No, they're not. Carbon-dating is just bullshit. lol
Steve, what say you about tribes in Africa who's almost sole source of protein is the milk and blood of their goats and other livestock? They don't have the resources to feed herds and eat the meat, so they found a way to get their protein and keep the animals alive. Do you propose that this has just begun in the last 100 or so years? Just curious.
funny how times change I bet we will be laughing 20 years from now about the supplements we were taking saying that was so ancient and not efficient...That's Strictly Old School.
When I was Competing in the early 70's, that was the Big Thing........................... JP
P.S.
But even then, it was Raw Milk, not the Shit in a Store, but Straight from the Cow.
Not Pasteurized or Homogenized ~ I use to Drink it with a Shit Ton of Aminos Added ~ and Desiccated Liver Pills.
On that Note.funny how times change I bet we will be laughing 20 years from now about the supplements we were taking saying that was so ancient and not efficient...
Gomad works for some. There you go discussion over.
If a skinny highschool kid came up to me and asked me how to gain. I would say GOMAD and a good 5x5 routine.
Probably. Funny thing is, milk will still be included in a knowledgeable bodybuilder's diet.![]()
We are strictly talking about "cows" milk here...correct? Because technically speaking...and this is backed by hard data-there is FAR more worldwide consume of goats milk than cow milk. And has been for much longer than Steve is stating. Herding of goats goes back almost to the beginning tracking of humans.
Even in its purist form (cow milk) is not as "good" for us as goats milk...on many MANY levels. Goats milk is the closest in content and bioavailability to human breast milk than any other.

Lmao!!!! Steve and I went at it about milk a couple years ago on EF. Although I have to say I'm half in agreement with both you now. The things we do to process milk fucks it up for us. But the nutrients in milk that we should be absorbing are good I believe. Some of us can't process lactose but that's a distinction of the body, not the milk. I think it's our environment that's fucking up our digestion which is why lactose intolerance is more common in modern days. Same with gluten allergies.
Need Venom?? I'll bite
It's genetic. As children we possess the enzyme to break down mothers milk. So, a large number of people lose this enzyme after a young age. Why? Well sometimes with enzymes, if you don't use it you lose it.
Did you know the same is true for digestion enzymes in your saliva? If you don't fully utilize them, your body produces less...but I digress.
Well what happens is the body naturally learns to adapt to new foods, which is why paleo diets are nonsense. Paleo suggests that the last great forms of food were found millions of years ago, not true. The body will continue to adapt to new, nutrient dense forms of food that can actually be better and more readily available than the foods of before.
So what does this mean with milk? Well remember, for a long time milk was not present past infancy, so many lose that enzyme. However, since dairy has come about, some people keep the enzyme throughout adulthood, and others lose it at varying times. Normally, the people who keep the enzyme had ancestors who consumed milk...but this is theory. I like to think of it like this though...
The other side of it is that some have an intolerance to casein...I fit into this category.
